Would never stay again, Paul one of the owners would constantly speak in a condescending tone and was just plain rude. Aweful hosts, I'd hate to see anyone stay here again and give this disgusting person a penny.

Stayed here yesterday, we usually go to another around the corner. The owner claimed on the phone it was a certain price for 3 adults and 1 baby, we got there and she said a completely higher price! We was like we wouldn't stay here if we knew the price, she said she didn't say that but she did because we even wrote it down and she was on loud speaker at the time so we all heard, she claimed she didn't but she lied to our faces. Was a bit awkward tbh. The room looks clean but there where cobwebs dangling from the walls, dried makeup on the wall, side of my bed was dirty with tea stains, in all honesty it wasn't as clean as it looked. The breakfast was cooked decent, and the other staff at breakfast was nice but very loud and we couldn't enjoy it she was being after a while annoying its 9am. My sister ordered a veggie breakfast and received 1 small hash brown, boat load of beans and 2 what looked like uncooked eggs tbh. You would think maybe a veggie sausage or something. Felt bad for her. It was just a strange vibe all together. The women at breakfast was nice but she wouldn't leave us alone we couldn't eat propely she didn't have her mask on it was round her neck and having anxiety really made it worse she was really in our faces being loud and happily just not wearing her mask it made me paranoid the whole day. It was ok but definitely will not be staying again. Sorry

After arriving in Bridlington, we found The Swallow quickly and easily - it's literally a couple of minutes from the sea front in a clean and well-kept area.

The owner Gifty gave us a lovely welcome, and showed us to our room (7, twin room, top floor), which was beautifully light, spacious, clean and full of nice touches: instead of 4 generic individually-wrapped teabags, there was a caddy full - likewise coffee. Gone was the usual "travel kettle", replaced with a full-sized beast which boiled in good time, and was easily filled from the modern en-suite bathroom, which was again equipped with full-sized shampoo/conditioner/shower gel etc.

After a stroll out we slept in comfort, with the temperature being acceptable and not too much noise or light to disturb our sleep.

Breakfast the next morning was phenomenal - my wife had some poached eggs (done just as she likes them), bacon, mushrooms, beans and tomato; I plumped for vegetarian sausage, hash browns and beans. I can honestly say we have not experienced a breakfast this good in any hotel for a long, long time. Tea, coffee and juice flowed freely and there was also the option of a selection of cereal and fruit.

When it was time to leave, Gifty was kind enough to let us leave the car outside for a while as we headed down for one last bit of beach-time, offering a friendly hug as we went on our way.

In short - if you are going to Bridlington, stay at The Swallow, you will in no way be disappointed.

Stayed at this hotel whilst attending a concert at the Bridlington Spa. Off road parking is available and the hotel is literally 1 minute walk from the town, Spa, promenade and beach area. A very warm welcome on arrival from the staff and local amenities were explained, our room had sea views and was clean, airy, warm and really pleasant, toilet and showers were clean, tidy and to a very high standard. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable, well presented and cooked to a high standard and we met Gifty the owner who was keen to make sure our stay had been pleasant and also made sure we received a Gifty Hug before we left. This is a brilliant hotel to stay in if in the area and don t think you will find anywhere better, a 5 star service from Gifty and the team, well done everyone and definitely recommend staying at the Swallow Hotel.

Gifty the owner was very welcoming and her staff in the morning at breakfast. Very friendly ladies. Bedroom was very comfy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was tasty and filling. We only stayed one night but would definitely come back again and recommend to others.

Well the reviews written about the Swallow Hotel are spot on, I am unable to improve on others there are not enough word to express my feeling of this little gem. On arrival we were given a very warm welcome by Helen. Gifty the owner is the warmest hotelier I have ever met and the pride she takes in her establishment shines through every nook and cranny. The breakfast is beautifully cooked and presented. We are here from Luton to celebrate our friends 60th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow, this is being held at the Spa just across the road, but tonight we are meeting quite a few of the other guests at the Premier Inn for a meal. Gifty has offered to drive us there so that we can have a drink and she will arrange for a Taxi to come and bring us back. We have never meet this lady before and I can't believe that someone should be so kind. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Swallow Hotel to any person coming to Bridlington, I am sure you wouldn't find anywhere better. Best wishes to Gifty and her staff.
