I have been coming here almost every weekend for a year now and I cannot say enough how much I love this place! The staff has always been super friendly and make sure you are taken care of very well. They also have been doing an amazing job at making this a safe and clean place to come enjoy some DELICIOUS food during this pandemic.

The service is as fast as they can be depending on how many people are working that day. But overall they have great selections and many food choices.

Let me state from the beginning my preference on foods: I prefer sustainable options, which includes organic food but also attempts to get food from the closest places possible. This place does not meet the mark, in this regard.
Extremely friendly staff; you commonly see the same faces each time which could mean it is a happy place to work. I hope that since this is a small town place, that they tip Eric's staff very well. I have never had a reason to undertip a staff, but through pure helpfulness I have always over-tipped the average. You will meet a great staff (including the cooks). They also accept credit cards and cash.
On the con side, I am simply not impressed with the food, there is nothing significantly boasted about "where" the food comes from or how sustainable their farms are. I know, "Dude you're doing a review on a breakfast place, who gives a damn where the food comes from?" I get that opinion and my response is simply, "I do. I care about where the food comes from." I do in every restaurant I go to. I eat meat and work on a farm that raised beef cattle on grass and in a organic and sustainable way. So that's why I care, and that is sorely missing from this place.
Another con is that the coffee is typical diner coffee, which means not good unless you like the cheapest quality coffee that someone is able to find. Maybe you do. I think it tastes like sewage filtered through a paper filter. With Eric's being only 6 miles away from a great roaster in Sawyer (Infusco Coffee Roasters), I cannot imagine how they wouldn't try to get that well loved coffee in to their breakfast joint. Jess over at Infusco is roasting coffee beans too well for the folks in Bridgman to be drinking beans that get ground and have a shelf like of 2 years. At Infusco, those beans are packaged (full bean) and then only stay available for about 4 weeks, then off the shelf they go. Eric's you could have quality like that and support another local business. I hope this business continues to strive, but I also would be remiss without giving an honest answer.

Eric's is a great breakfast restaurant. Lots of selections, generous portions, and very tasty food at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and keep your coffee cup full!

Great service, the waitresses will get to know the regular's names and memorize drinks and orders. It's obvious they care about the customers and are thankful for the business that they receive. There's also a great selection of food that is very good and well priced. Definitely a great option for breakfast and lunch.

Nice environment the owners are Boston celtics fans so the restaurant is covered with jerseys. This is one of the cleanest places I've dined at. Service is great and the prices are super affordable
Good food, great and friendly people. Awesome new look and layout. Has WiFi and power at all booths. They get your food out to you quick, so it's great for a good fast meal or a nice slow sit down with the locals.

A simple diner with good hearty breakfasts and sandwiches. Big portions for small price. Delicious Chicken Salad sandwich. Brightly lit and clean. Often crowded on weekends. But one tiny bathroom in kitchen!? Isn't that against code?

A great local place to grab breakfast or lunch. Not very big inside, and the place always seems to be packed. Heaping portions for the price....try the club!
My favorite thing about Eric's cafe is that it isn't perfect. It's always a little crowded, the food is good enough, and the prices are low enough.
That gives it the charm of a small town diner, with great staff to further enhance your meal. You come to Eric's for the experience. I feel like a kid again every time I visit, and I love to savor that feeling while sipping on my third refill of cheap coffee.

Good sized portions very tasty food. Great atmosphere if you like Celtic memorabilia. Clean and excellent waitresses. Had to wait a little for our food because it got busy but the food was hot and done right.
