Great little place for sushi, wife and I came here for a night out. Service was super friendly and welcoming. Food was very good and fresh.

Highly recommend the Flames roll, beef tataki, and (I think) kamikaze roll. (Both rolls were recommend by the server.

Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a place to come of you enjoy sushi rolls. I wish their sashimi platters were bigger or more selection. But overall recommend going to check it out.

I have been visiting Sushi Ginza since the week it first opened (approx. 20 years ago). It is such a fantastic restaurant!

The staff has always been kind and attentive. I've never had a bad experience or meal.

The sushi is always fresh and delicious; there is a great selection. Can't say enough great things about Sushi Ginza!

My favourite sushi place in the city! The fish is very high quality and the service is amazing. Amazing tempura and really great rolls, my favourite is the special yam roll. They also have lots of options for non-sushi eaters. High quality sushi for a really good price!

Ordered take out. they told me it would be ready at 6:10. Waited at the restaurant for close to an HOUR for my order in my car. When I finally got it home the tempura was stone cold and limp, avocado was brown. Very disappointed. Truly unacceptable.

The service has always been good. However, the sushi and sashimi sometimes taste as if they have been sitting there for a while. This happened more than once. If you have had fresh sushi and sashimi before, you would know what not-so-fresh fish taste like. And for the price they are charging, I would expect quality of the fish to be top notch. The rice in the rolls and sushi are off most of the time too. The rice is too hard, and was not cooked properly (sushi rice, I believe, are suppose to have a bit vinegar in it). So although the service is good, I feel they are trying to cheat on their customers by serving not-so-fresh fish, while charge premium price.

Extremely amazing. The staff is amazingly awesome as well. The chefs at the bar are always listening to what you may like next and making suggestions,e ven when it is extremely busy. This is our weekend spot for my boyfriend and I.

Been here a few times now and it has always been a great experience. The food is consistent and delicious. The service is good and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend the Outsider roll and the Mt. Fuji roll.

I will no longer eat here because of poor service. Myself and my girlfriend went here for Valentine's day and we waited for an hour to get our ordered sushi boat. I booked for table prior to visiting but still getting this type of service. I asked one of their staff and the reason it took so long is because the sushi bar is busy. I don't get why the order is not prioritized on whoever gets to order first. There is a couple nearby us and noticed they got food first than us even though we arrived earlier than them. Food is okay. Sakana Grill is way better than this restaurant with their sushi boat food.

been there 5 times. I can tell quality of every sushi place with ordering 8-piece Tuna Sashimi, and these guys they know their stuff. Sashimi was great and 2nd time I went there, he knew me and what I like. No other place I go in Calgary. dinning Box is available if you want to take off your shoes and relax.

This is a fantastic sushi restaurant. The decor is traditional Japanese with a selection of traditional booths, normal tables, and even seating around the sushi boats. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the dragon roll, it actually looks like a dragon. Remember to save room for dessert as the green tea cheese cake is out of this world. Recommended for family, solo, and romantic dinners.

Great restaurant, one of Willow Park's hidden gems! I have been here many times and the service is always excellent and the food is great. The rolls are tasty and you can get their Special rolls for the same price that more expensive places will sell you a standard roll. The ambiance is nice, they have a coy pond IN the restaurant, a nice seating area, a floating sushi bar.

Try the yam rolls. To die for! Prices are really good compared to some sushi restaurants in the city and the food is always fresh, staff is friendly. The decor could be updated but it's part of the charm, I guess.

Really pleasantly surprised. A new fav spot!

Really pleasantly surprised. A new fav spot!

Came across this restaurant while visiting Kate King Jewelry. It blew me away how fresh the fish was. The menu is awesome and varied so anyone can find something to enjoy. Prices are good..perhaps a tad higher than some of the popular Japanese chains in YYC but so worth it and still good value. Sadly it is super far from where I live but have already been back in the same week and will be back again and again. Booths are traditional style which I love. Very authentic

Great selection of all sorts of sushi which is why one goes there. The wine list could use some work particularly when they are in such close proximity to the largest liquor vendor in Calgary. Great atmosphere... not too loud and the servers are friendly. Highly recommended.
