I'm not big in giving reviews but I just took my first class and IT WAS AMAZING!, Carly is awesome, I love her already and I just met her. This is a great place to dance and Carly makes you feel comfortable. She was very supportive since very begining. I definitely recommend everybody to join Surge studio.
I have been looking to get back into the dance community and luckily stumbled in to Surge! I have been a happy dancer ever since April. Since then, I have gained new friends, my physique has changed, and I am loving all of the new classes they are offering. I recommend to everyone!
I joined surge studio a month ago and I found that everyone is friendly and out going. Carly my instructor is professional, helpful and makes me feel comfortable and confident. She is very supportive and I feel no pressure in her class. I would encourage anyone ho reads this to come to the studio and join us. The great part is the first class is complementary. You will never regret it.
When I first reached to surge studio I used there online chat feature which really helped me make a decision on whether I wanted to send my girlfriend there customer service was excellent and when I sat down with the owner she really let me know what may interest my girlfriend I then dropped of my girlfriend for a surprise class and she seemed so happy when I picked her up that I I think we will be coming back here all the time thank you surge studio #90PrecentersParadise

My daughter had a blast celebrating her 7th birthday at Surge Studio. Miss Carly and her dancers hosted a fun-filled, emoji-themed, dance party with non-stop party games and good grooves. I highly recommend that you have your child's party at Surge Studio, they'll love it!
It has been my pleasure to perform and work with Surge Studio's owner, Carly Harper, on many occasions and she has put her entire heart into the manifestation, creation, and success of her studio and its students. Surge offers such a wide range of dance styles as well as theatre, acrobatics, voice, and graffiti art classes, so if you're looking for something specific to fit your needs, the chance is that Surge is the place to be at! The students that I have seen walk through their doors have grown immensely in technique, talent, and overall performance in such a short amount of time--I have to give all the respect and credit in the world to Surge's amazing faculty for the incredible work that they do for the students in their classes. I am excited to make Surge my new studio home in 2016 as their new Tap, Jazz and Contemporary instructor. I assure you that you will not be disappointed with the kind of care, patience and compassion that Surge extends to everyone in their studio!

I danced at Surge as part of their Surge Studio Dance Company, which is for 18+ dancers. This program gives dancers commercial training, headshots & tips, video opportunities and gives inside tips on being building yourself as a dancer. Carly is incredibly professional and sweet and makes everyone feel so welcome at every level. She s given me invaluable lessons and helped me feel confident in myself as a dancer. The Surge staff are all working dancers who have real experience to offer their students and can reach students at any level. With recreational classes for kids, their competition team and their adult classes for beginners and experienced dancers this studio has so much to offer the area. It is hard to find drop in classes for adults outside the city, and Surge offers multiple classes per month. Surge brings quality training to the Hudson Valley. Definitely check it out!
We are very appreciative of the support that the staff of Surge Studio has provided our group since last September as we expand our programming into the Rockland County area. Carly and her team have been very professional , responsive and hospitable. The space is an ideal location to hold classes or rehearsals at. It is at an easy to find location, is clean and organized, and a great size for a mid-sized group. Our partnership is something we are grateful to have. We definitely recommend Surge Studio if you are looking for a dance studio to rent for your use!
I love going to Surge Dance Studio. I was looking for a ballet class for adults and Surge Studio has accommodated me 100%. I am learning classic ballet techniques with a fun hip-hop vibe. I am having fun and my legs are looking pretty good. Thanks Carly!
On behalf of "The Christophe Lafontant Foundation for MFM", I would like to thank Miss Carly Harper and the dancers of Surge Studio for donating their time and services to our 2nd Annual Charity Banquet on November 6, 2015. Our guests were thoroughly entertained as they watched the ladies perform a special number dedicated to the foundation's founder who is currently battling a rare medical condition.This high energy number really got the crowd going and was a great intro into the dance portion of the evening. Working with studio owner, Miss Carly Harper, was such a pleasure as she was extremely attentive and accommodating. Her positive uplifting spirit had us confident that she would put together an amazing show and she certainly delivered. As an adult, dance classes become less available and limited. I have searched for years for a place where I can do what I love - Dance again!!
