The Fried Chicken Sandwich, Kale Salad and Croque rock!
Not the best location, not the best bread either, lots of great reviews but ours was burnt. No draft beers and no cheesecake on offer, literally the only 2 things I was interested in. Service was stiff too. However, food Is good, recommend the chickpeas or salmon although sorbet was underwhelming
i didn't eat there. Its packed and i couldn't get in to order
Really like this place, there is a great selection of healthy foods but also a great selection of pastries and cakes. We had breakfast which was really tasty, lots of egg selections. The coffee was really good, service friendly and fast. Bookings not essential but you may have to wait, give this place a try when in LA.
I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this great restaurant. Well we passed a superb evening and the place was surely the reason for the strong celebration. The stuff participated in a pleasant way, the meals were yummy and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall no dout return for more celebrations. thanks very much.
Delicious breads and pastries baked on premises and a "superb" breakfast menu complete with a full list of juice options as well.
Awesome service and very accommodating. Try the pastries!!
Great food. A little overpriced. Attentive staff. Good people watching
Cute spot in Venice with great ambiance, food, and coffee.
Very chill spot with some great menu items and a really friendly staff. The croissants were a bit dry imho, but the breakfast sandwich was delicious-- the brioche bun was amazing and the bacon, aioli, egg combination with side potatoes was spot on. I'm not a coffee person, so I can't give an opinion on that.
Very good place to have breakfast or eat many healthy options
An update to the menu wouldn't hurt from time to time
Dinner was delightful. ....all the entres were surperbo....cod, meatballs....skirt steak!
The food is good nothing earth shattering, the service leaves alot to be desired.
Amazing food , employees soo kind, great atmosphere. The Grilled Orata was awesome!!!!!!
Delicious, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked. Nice ambiance ample parking.
I have only tried the bread and pastries here... and I absolutely love the rye bread, and multi grain one... so good! Pastries are really good as well! Service is friendly and there s one particular man, who is very very friendly! And we always hope he is behind the counter when we go buy bread!
Tasty food and great service , had both the superba grain bowl and Turkic late. Both dishes were light and healthy and rich with flavor, plus the restaurant had a nice vibe.
Brunch. Check. Bright. Check. Great for groups. Check. Best Matcha Latte. Check. Always consistent.
I've been here several times now and I'll definitely be back because the food is good and the bread is on point. Or it's because it's really close to my house. It's unclear the primary motivation. Let's assume a combination of both. Also, the patrons are a microcosm of well dressed and good looking families. It's very confusing. Hashtag hipster parents.
I will say, however, that the service is hit and miss. Sometimes it's on point and the right level of attentive. Sometimes if you aren't ready to order when they come around the first time...then you missed your opportunity and you'll be seen in the next shift. Mixed bag of who you get.
But the bread... really really good. And I recommend adding a poached egg on the avocado toast. Yumm.
Great food and excellent service. However, if deep fried is not for you, then you will miss several delicious dishes, such as fried chicken and crispy cod....
Small portions for a large price. Food was just okay.
Not a long wait, really nice servers, good coffee, amazing food, cute interior. Loved it!
Very welcoming and comfortable space. The fried chicken sandwich and kale salad are perfect to split. My son had the burger and said it was awesome! Don't leave without a cookie from the bakery. Good place for casual date or lunch with the kids.
Horrible customer service. I been here twice always waiting. I didnt wanna judge it the first time because it was pack but I just went and it had a few tables in. Waited too long to get noticed.
Came in early for coffee and pastries, waited for breakfast. Watched several tables be seated, order, and receive their food, and no one came back to us after bringing waters and a menu. Food sounded great. Would have loved an opportunity to order some.

Good quality food in a hip neighborhood with hip prices.
Avocado toast and croissant french toast was the right mix of light and heavy. Everything here is wonderful.
Wow, the staff consists of hipsters. Bearded men. Do they sell food, or artisan firewood?
Unclear how the system works... Do you pay at cashier 1 or 2? No wait, there's a waiter. Hum.
Loud music. Strange vibe. Cappuccino arrives, which tastes like espresso with foam. Pricey.
Nah. Bye.
Excellent food and coffee. The view of the Broncos across the street is nice too!
Great spot in Venice, the location is amazing, modern, spacious with a nice open bread kitchen.
Pastries are crafted beautifully and the brunch is incredible.
Service can be a bit slow at times, but place is packed and you always feel they re doing their best.
Good place for sandwiches like cupcakes and good wine
I always love this place. It's the type of restaurant where you get whiplash, staring at all the different dishes carried around.
And all the ingredients they use are choice, without heavy creams. You actually enjoy every bite to the last.
Complimentary blankets in the patio.
Many people say it's on the pricey side, but it's pretty much the going rate for any hipster spot nowadays. Just don't get the 8 oz juices. - BTW. If you love Turmeric, get the Turmeric latte, which automatically comes with almond milk.
As a freelancer that brings her computer everywhere, I'm a huge fan of this place. The ambience, access to outlets, free parking, wifi and overall vibe is a great place to be creative and productive in a restaurant environment. It has coffee shop vibes that turn into a rich hippie/tech bustling family spot when the sun goes down and the lights dim. The matcha is overpriced and average but the latte and tea selections are above. Avocado toast was a bit bland, but all the other food on the menu deserves an A. Everything from the stylish ceramic mugs to the indie playlist on repeat scream progressive Venice chc.
A great atmosphere, and a good food. i would recommend hangtown fry and the frensh toast it's special
Bright and open hip cafe. Lively atmosphere with upbeat music. Fried chicken sandwich was tasty and right sized and also rightly priced. Would gladly come back.
Good for any time of day or night. From bread to wine, coffee to meals. Young to old. Good sourcing. Delicious.
Amazing coffee, but the food is overrated and very expensive for what you actually get. Beautiful atmosphere and usually no wait at all around breakfast time. There is also a small parking lot in front, so parking has never been an issue for me.
Wonderful ambiance. Dinner only served Sunday nights. Great decor, great bread. Pretty good food.
Nice leisurely place but service very slow probably because they are so busy! Fresh everything. Free tea refills and great bread.
Amazing coffee and food. Packed for brunch on the weekends. Has a small parking lot, so if you're lucky, free and convenient parking as well. :)
Unique California restaurant with eclectic menu . Known for its self baked rolls and bread . It has many vegetarian appetizers such as carrots beans kale salads Etc our group of six had lamb ribs somewhat spicy but very delicious pasta dishes smoked trout mushroom bread with cheese. And they're famous Mary's chicken soup with lots of chicken and vegetables and white beans. The server was very good without being in your face too much. We spend $450 including the tip with three glasses of wine and three desserts. Not overly expensive for a Los Angeles but the tip alone was more than I would spend on a meal in another state.
Very nice ambiance, food is delicious. Great service. Generous portions! Got the bread & cheese plate, beets with burrata, and dry aged NY strip steak.
Excellent food and service in a casual setting. I really enjoyed it!
Delicious food and especially the bread. My only complaint was that tables were too close together and we heard the whole conversation next to us. But it was valentines. Still, very nice night
Great bakery and cafe serving breakfast and lunch. Amazing atmosphere with outdoor seating. Excellent service and fantastic coffee! Limited parking and often a short wait. Go early for the best experience.
It's superb! Easy pun aside, great outdoor and indoor seating at this yummy casual place with a fancy twist: polite table service and white napkins, simple and delicious menu, high quality ingredients. Prices are moderate considering this is a hipster venue on the Westside.
I had one of the best Spanish lattes I have had in a while ($6) and an orange juice that couldn't have been fresher.
I hate the word eclectic but the was all that. Everything I've had there had been delish. A real pallet pleaser. Great vibe.
Our little local, cannot recommend enough for a mid-range meal with a great wine selection. Get the Brussel Sprouts (I know that sounds wrong, but do it! It comes with a poached egg on top....Delish)
Visited here while I was in LA last fall. It's excellent. Delicious baked goods daily. I tried breakfast once and enjoyed it. Their lattes are great too hot and iced. Highly recommend whether you want to get your coffee fix or have a good meal.
One of my favorite brunch places in LA. Loved the egg dishes specially baked eggs in purgatory
I enjoy freshly prepared organic food, particularly creative and tasty freshly-prepared organic food. Superba definitely has that, not to mention great bread from the bakery. It does suffer from a little bit of Westside pretentiousness but perhaps that's unavoidable these days.
Meat potatoes were all over cooked, egg ordered om got oe with oh white. ,service was also a 3 star. Dirty chia was small for price but presented very nicely didnt taste like two shots of espresso like I was told . 25$ for 1 and only ate half meal it was very good , hadn't eaten since my fight here the day before, 3 stats clean, popular Nice item on menu just only tried one
I enjoyed the entire meal, but the charred sourdough was so addicting.
3.5 stars. good service nice young staff. a well designed space that is starting to date itself. food was good but maybe a bit complicated. i thought the bun on my burger would have been better considering bread is in the name. seems like a local neighborhood spot with a cool patio
Great coffee, food and pastries. The fried potatoes are amazing!
Love their sourdough bread, but the restaurant is just absolute madness. It's very noisy, to the point that I wished I had ear plugs. The food is very good but with too few menu choices. I loved their new location in El Segundo, but unfortunately they closed a couple of months ago.
We came in about 15 minutes before closing without realizing it was a sit-down restaurant. We were just looking for a quick bite to go. I bet people like us who roll in at closing time tend to upset about 98% of restaurant staffs. That being said, everyone there treated us as if we were the first customer of the night. It was really impressive. It goes to show you the manager not only hires quality people, but probably emphasizes customer service above all else. Last but not least, the food was very good.
Trendy pricey good-looking but not always the best tasting food.
Great atmosphere, food was delicious. Good value for money. Service was excellent.
Amazing food! The butternut squash soup and grilled cheese combo is soooo good! Service nice, fun and efficient.
A++ Superba F&B hits on all points I look for...
Atmosphere is clean, basic and friendly - Farm Chic. Patio seating was comfortable and quiet even though we were recessed just off Lincoln. Featured bike parking rounded out a fun experience.
Firsts - Bread, toasts and firsts were easily shared and you could stop there and be fulfilled.
We ordered entrees - Simple ingredients. Dishes came paired with a side which I appreciated.
Dessert - Homemade Candy Bar. Layers upon layers of deliciousness.
Also - Our server hovered a bit too much but she was friendly and was determined we had a good experience. Can't be upset with that. I'd chalk it up to the newness (they were only open a couple weeks) and understanding your clientele.
DELICIOUS! Great food, great service, socially conscious company... What more could you ask for? As I always mention in my reviews when relevant, going here supports a small, local, independently owned business.
