Great hangover food! They are super fast here, expect your food out in minutes. Never disappoints. I get the brisket Soup with lots of green onions.
Very tasty brunch food. A hipster crowd for sure. I liked the open air feel to the place with the high ceilings and roll up windows
The ambience is cool. Food is okay. Our server was a hit!
Probably the best Bloody Mary & breakfast sandwich in LA but what do I know
Todo perfecto ! ... .......so far best food in my Cali vacation
Such a great spot! They have everything, from breakfast, to lunch to dinner! Delicious meals, great ambiance, great staff. This place is a must if you are in town. We had the Brussels sprouts, the cacio e pepe, and the smoky lamb ribs.
Great for breakfast/brunch. My boyfriend and I visited from New York and we absolutely loved the Spanish latte, it was just the right about of cinnamon and sugar. The breakfast sandwich and the croissant French toast were some of my favorites. We came in 2 days in a row, that s how much we liked it.
Came for brunch on a Monday, and it was nice and calm space with a good variety of brunch dishes and pastries. I had the grain bowl which was light and healthy and also the nutella pretzel croissant which was lovely. Great service, too.
They had been so sweet here in order to accommodate us. They had been booked and we did not call for a booking early . Only having a couple of days we could not return. Even though it wasn't a time we generally eat that they fit us in. Food was fantastic and fairly. I wasn't a lover of the eggs too hot and I do not mind spice. A bit on the expensive side so anticipate that and restricted close seating therefore that it could be noisy.
Food is good, but expensive for what it is and just feels like it is trying a bit too hard...
My most favorite breakfast place in the states . Must try their avocado toast
As long as you come here knowing it isn't cheap, you're in for a treat. Everything is next level in terms of quality. I stopped in for breakfast and had a cappuccino, orange juice and marbled eggs (with hot sauce) and was not disappointed!
yes bread and pastries and salad and love and light
I had some of the best cafe lattes in my life here. The whole menu was very good for breakfast.
Stuck up Environment. Would not suggest to people of color especially those who are unapologetically blessed with culture and class. Do not go!
Amazing food, great bread, even better service. Thank you!
Fun brunch spot in Venice. Expect up to an hour wait.
Dinner was just delicious. !! I picked the skirt steak and was just wonderful! The fries are a must!!! In the evening the ambiance is just perfect for nice company and good conversation. Don t forget a glass of wine.
The best French toast! Wish they served all day, but they only do on weekends.
Fast service, good food (turkey sandwich was really fresh and savory), great relaxed atmosphere
We forgot to make a reservation, as the Sunday brunch proved very popular. However, we were seated right away.
The brunch menu was extensive. My Avocado on toast proved average; the avocado was delicious, but the thick toast proved difficult to master.
The ambiance was very busy, with plenty of families with kids. The patio was quieter, but not sufficiently extensive. A significant difference between Sundays and weekdays, I was told.
Their Ruben croissant always has a place in my heart.
This is the best breakfast spot in Venice in my opinion. The food is consistently delicious and the service is consistently good. It's not congested and overpriced like Rose Cafe. There's also a dog-friendly patio area which is great.
The grain pancake is so delicious. It reminds me of the old grain pancake from the now-closed Axe.
The spinach I ordered was too garlicky. Felt a little bad paying so much for it! But the ambience was amazing.
The service here is great, all the staff are really nice. The ambiance is great, it's a beautiful place. The food however is honestly not that good and it's obscenely over priced... like shameful. I was charged $25 for a kale salad that I added tuna to. The tuna was $7 and it was - no exaggeration - three pieces of seared tuna the size of half dollars. That is a rip off even by LA standards.
Places like this are contributing to the luxurification of healthy food by over pricing things merely so rich people think it's somehow better quality. It isn't. Kale has the same nutritional value no matter where you buy it from.
This is just another business contributing to the snobification of Venice and driving all the locals out of the neighborhood. If you want to enjoy a $30 salad literally two blocks down the street from a sprawling homeless encampment, surrounded by a growing community of people forced to live out of their vehicles while still calling yourself "progressive" then this is one of the many gems that Venice has to offer. Enjoy.
What a nice bruch!! Baked goods are all made on premises. Burger was to die for (being bad?) and way to make a black kale salad tasty (being good?). No one has been disappointed with the brunch menu items.
Amazing!! So cute and delicious! 10/10 would recommend!
Great quality food, amazing baked goods and some of the best bread. This place is definitely a must try for breakfast or lunch. There's a fun open fit out and the service is excellent, though it's a popular spot so be prepared to wait a while for a table if you haven't booked ahead!
You have to try the bread appetizer- best thing I've ever eaten!
Great food and ambiance. Bread bakes there is amazing. A bit pricey but consistent with area.
Top quality ingredients, excellent flavor combinations, numerous vegan/dietary options and friendly staff. As most restaurants that are fantastic, there may be a wait depending on peak times. However, you can spend that time enjoying wine, gourmet coffee beverages or the fantastic bakery and desert offerings.
I want to give a 3.5 regarding the dine-in food and experience because there are a lot of little things like too many waitstaff giving conflicting information or being served a sandwich that gushes sauces on a flat board so they run everywhere, which they have been evolving and working to make better, so i give them credit for that.
That all said I LOOOOOVE their in house baked breads- as a bakery alone they are amazing, totally worth the price. I walk over some mornings just for the bread.
All are very nice, great interior design and flower work, etc, making a very visually pleasing experience, though i wish they'd ditch the terrible pouring bottles for water which splash all over the place in favor of something more fluid and useable- i don't care how aesthetic it is while me and my pricey food are covered in water.
The burgers were so delicious for a minute I thought I was in heaven
Great atmosphere and pastries. Stop for a quick bite from the counter or sit down for an amazing full service meal.
Very little parking. Lots of distracted drivers looking for parking in residential area. Residence not to Happy!
Fantastic eatery and bakery. A place we always visit when in Venice.
Not really welcoming, manager freaking out while uncovering the face to validate payment with Apple Face ID for 2 seconds, don t allow Apple pay then if that s the case.
Breakfast was served in a carton box... and they used to much salt. They come and shout your name at your table for you to get up and pick up your drinks, what is the purpose of tipping then? Can t you just bring the coffee to the table?
Great food. Well priced. Just tried their mushroom toast and it was amazing!
I wanted to push 1 star, but the guy at the bar met me very friendly, that's why 2 stars. I took a seat at the table, but there was somebody's long black hair on it. I called a waitress and she saw I called her, but she didn't come to me and made a view later she didn't see me. Will have my lunch somewhere else.
Expensive cafe style eatery packed with locals chasing brunch on every weekend. Burger is excellent, Croque Madame is scrumptious, and the breads are artisanal. Service is pretentious at times, and the waits may be quite long. Street parking is the usual hunt with such a small parking lot.
My husband brought me here for brunch a few weekends ago and we enjoyed our meals. His salmon BLT was delicious as was my breakfast sandwich. I also had a brunch cocktail (can't remember the name of it), but it was delicious. I really like the atmosphere here. With indoor and outdoor seating and the cool breeze, I kind of felt like I was in a hip restaurant in the South of France somewhere. Superba is a solid brunch option.
The most elaborate espresso machine remains my center of attraction, but added to it now is the still pricy but inventive, beautiful, fresh and delicious food. You can check the photos out on what I consider the most stunning website I've ever seen. The carrots, Brussels sprouts, among others, are enough to turn me into a vegetarian. Bravo! Note: They will omit items on a plate but not substitute, and some of the large plate items are "more of a garnish". The service is now responsive, gracious and intelligent from the minute you walk in the door. We remarked that a couple of the carrots were undercooked and they immediately and generously rectified this in a low key way. And, of course, the lovely, airy space achieves California beach perfection.
Review is for dinner. Pretty great spot that s away from the hustle and bustle of Abbot Kinney. A range of pastas, sandwiches, and other dishes...we went with pasta but first the wedge of bread for an appetizer. It was fantastic. Warm, fresh, buttered. Recommend.
The pasta and bouillabaisse were also quite tasty. The cacio e pepe was flavorful - cheesy and rich if that s what you re looking for. Pasta was just a touch undercooked even for a guy who loves pasta al dente.
Service is great. Would love to come back from brunch one day.
Fantastic breakfast bowl, good atmosphere. Service is a bit slow but super friendly.
Definitely recommend for a chill morning.
Good breakfast. Lots of food so consider wharingm cheesy bread is great!
Love the food and ambiance. I like trying something new every time I come here although I am tempted to get the Cacio e Pepe every time because it is so good. Brunch here is also amazing.
Outstanding service and amazing food! One of my favorite places in Venice. Every time I come here the service exceeds expectations.
Super pricey and ironically very limited Gluten Free Selection..... (yes I am aware that is an improper use of irony.... help a girl out with the right word.)
Wonderful baked goods and adventurous menu and lattes - mushroom and turmeric were delicious plus they offer CBD as an add-on. No gluten free bread. They usually only have a lemon pound cake that is glutten free.
Amazing breads and brunch dishes. Delicious coffee and sweet shaded patio.
Above all the restaurant is good value serving good food. Great bread and really good entrees.
One of our favorite spots to eat and have a coffee (SPANISH LATTE ftw!!) . So many delicious items to choose from on the menu! Although I like to try new things on their menu, I usually end up back at 1 of 3 favs: 1) Burger (with bacon - be forewarned, it's $4 extra just for the bacon), 2) Fried Chicken sandwich, and 3) the breakfast sandwich. My wife also really likes their grilled cheese sandwich. And did I mention the Spanish Latte is thy bomb? This place isn't cheap, but the food is delicious!
Always my first stop for breakfast and a lavender latte when I land in LA
Such a wonderful experience, we had a little problem with one of the dishes but Vickie turned in around and really made it a magical night!
Local favorite, morning noon and night. Sometimes feels a little spendy for what you re getting. +1 for dog friendly!
Never really understood the hype here. Attitude and trendy abounds. For a meal that is just ok.
Very nice seating and decent coffee, average service, overpriced.
Great place for brunch for the whole family - healthy food, good for the soul!
Delicious! But expensive. I had a fantastic salad for lunch here, and the chocolate banana bread from the bakery was perfectly moist. Staff was friendly, and service was quick. Great lighting throughout the place, too. The whole entrance wall is full of big windows.
Bread, burgers and juices are great. Fries could be warmer but still good.
The service was very good and made it more fun to be there. Joliett seated us and checked in on use as we dined. Each meal had it's own distinct flavor. The prices were above average, but the ambiance made up some of that difference. From the thick toasted bread with salted butter, to the roasted corn, the beans, and the other sides were all artisan type cooking. Three entres (we had seven) were all excellent. Again, i think some price reduction would be fair.
Great food. A cozy hidden feel.
I have been happy with everything I've eaten here.
Enjoyed the Lamb Ribs. Large plate and easy to have left overs. The cheese platter is great too.
Their food is just delicious! From appetizers to bread and to their pasta! It s a must try!
Great space, with a lovely patio, gets crowded on the weekends. Love their breakfast burrito, crunchy potatoes, fluffy eggs, and the tortilla is panini pressed to add some extra crunch. They recently added 49th parallel coffee from Vancouver which is one of my favorites.
Neighborhood style cafe. Home made bread pastries in an open air setting
I'm sexy. I need a sexy fun place to eat. That's how it's going down at Superba. The burrito was mind blowing.
Pricy and very noisy. Staff was great but the place is most suitable for families with kids, not really for conversations or solo work.
Very friendly service and probably the best / healthiest eggs in the neighborhood. Try the marbled eggs!
Love this place for breakfast! The lattes, toasts, and egg dishes are all great and the baked goods are always fresh and delicious.
But bring back the Croque Madame please!
Absolutely amazing food! Well seasoned and prepared. Lovely service people also.
