Love their quinoa bowl and the chicken burger was so delicious! Best burger we have ever had. Great staff too.
Sooo good, I had the breakfast sandwich and turmeric latter and would give it more stars than 5 stars if I could. It was busy but we still received fast, friendly service.
Can't beat their breakfast. Split the hot cake and grab a main, leave happy and full
great service, clean environment, and amazing food!!
The food was good . I tried the burger and also the chicken sandwich . Both great options .
Delicious.
Additionally, I ordered a shot with ginger.
And finally I got an espresso in my cup.
Gladly again.
Next door is a pretty cool Bronco car repair shop.
Food, ambience, service is really great. They bake bread fresh on site, serve excellent coffee, fresh juices, and have a good wine selection. They also have some very "LA" menu items such as the mushroom latte (with CBD oil), as well as plenty of healthy/vegan/vegetarian options.
Superba is one of those places that you walk into not knowing how good it will be and get blown away by the awesome food!! The evidence is in the crowds that this place draws. Even during a busy time on Sunday we got a table in about 15 minutes. The service was great, the coffee was delicious, and the food.. THE FOOD was AMAZING!! I had the Aspen Ridge Cheeseburger. This is in my top 3 of all time burgers. Had the meat not been well done, I think it would have made it to the top of my list. The flavors were balanced, with avocado and bacon (a little bit more expensive but ohh so worth it!) On a Brioche bun that was clearly home-made with a buttery crispy inside. The pictures do not do this thing justice! My wife ordered the Croque Madame. It was a sandwich with an over easy eggs (think egg in a basket) cut out in the bread with ham and cheese and a creamy tomato sauce. The one bite I was able to steal was like having a flavorful grilled cheese with ham and dipped in tomato soup. It was great! Superba, you guys have nailed it!
I love to stop by Superba Food when I visit LA, it's a simple but yet inspiring ambience with great food.
Food and bread is quite good but expensive. Employees work really hard but the manager seems
To be clueless and is more concerned about doing
What ever suits them best and not the customers.
They change times when they stop serving breakfast
Whenever they feel like but don't bother telling the customers, very arrogant behavior .
Lunchtime menu was delicious. The hippie burger (lentil burger with feta and a lot of other goodness) was fantastic and unlike anything I've ever had. I would recommend going to this place just for that alone. The environment and cold brew coffee were also top notch.
Great breakfast sandwich. Make sure to check out the pastry counter too. The homemade Oreos are a special treat!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Ordered the gazpacho and loved it!
Light, airy industrial space. Good food and nice people. Hip and cool vibe
Great restaurant with amazing bread! You have to get the charred bread as the appetizer; it s the reason I go back. Also, I recommend the burger as an entree. The desserts are ok. I ve tried a couple and they good, but nothing amazing.
Great place to go with friends.
Really sweet spot. Food is delicious and fairly healthy. Service is friendly. Great place to hang out - comfortable and casual.
The breakfast menu has items from $12
95 Toast and jam. To 2 eggs, 2 slices of lean bacon. And 2 Slices of Toast. $28.95 plus tax and tip.
Great place for a casual meal. Bread is truly outstanding.
Couldn't decide what to order so I got the Big Boy Breakfast...yum! Very hip and open atmosphere. Went for brunch and the wait wasn't bad, nice outdoor patio to sit outside and drink coffee while your table is getting ready. GO!
The breakfast sandwich and croque madame is awesome and their pastries are incredible.
Really nice chill restaurant with excellent baked goods. Great for brunch.
The latte was fantastic and the breakfast burrito was exactly what we wanted
This place is heaven, especially for brunch. Grab a friend or two, order a Bloody Mary and a breakfast burrito and you ll thank me later.
Love the ambience and the service! Will come back sure
Parking was a challenge but that is normal for the area. The food was excellent. Service was attentive. Other than parking I would love to return. I will be back but will know I have to hunt for a spot. Monday is trash collection. So since the residents had their trash cans out the parking way that much more challenging.
Superb. Fresh, delicious, local, special. Can't wait to trying. Amazing breads and baked goods.
Superba has a lot to offer from morning to night. From the pastry section to the full sit down restaurant, you can tailor your experience to your needs and time of day. They often have a wait for brunch but it's usually not too bad. It seems better suited to smaller groups of 2-3 people given that a lot of the tables are small. The food and coffee are very good but I don't love their pastries as much as Gjusta, but depending on the time of day the wait here is much shorter than Gjusta and it's better suited for a sit down experience. The pastries look really tasty and they are still quality, but I find them a bit dry. Pricing is what you'd expect for a hip spot in Venice. Parking can be tough but I usually find a spot on the street in the neighborhood behind it. Customer service is always good. I'll definitely come back.
Great food, friendly staff. Quite expensive but healthy and tasty
Absolutely amazing food, and excellent service! I'll definitely be back!
What an incredible first experience at Superba. It's ultra cool without being pretentious, so I really enjoyed spending a long afternoon here getting some work done.
I worked on my laptop in the back corner, which was fairly quiet and cozy. Great wifi signal. I enjoyed a hearty cookie (~$4) and a matcha tea latte (~$5). Really great experience and I was never, ever rushed out.
Tiny parking lot, so plan accordingly!
Chill Vibe. We went after the Brunch Rush. We had the place almost to ourselves. Lunch was delicious. We devoured every crumb. Amazing breads and bakery.
All i can say is...OMG...MUST COME AND ENJOY...the manager abby is super hospitable
It's nice, good big cafeteria ambiance and the pastries are legit
1 Word. Bread. Yes, do the charred bread. 2 orders aren't enough.
Enjoyed a fantastic meal prior to a basketball game, conveniently located close to the airport! Extensive selection of local wines and craft beers. Menu has a wide variety of unique options for herbivores and omnivores, staff were knowledgeable and accommodating of vegan diets. Everything we ordered was terrific! Had great service the whole night will definitely go back next time we are in LA!
Great brunch. Great dinner. Good for kids and even good for a date night.
This was my first time coming here for client dinner. The bread is a must try. I loved it!
Guest Service:
The host was one of the friendless hosts over every come across. Her vibe was very cheerful & happy which I love. The servers were also very helpful in picking out which wines we wanted to go with - seemed knowledge about the menu / wines.
Food Quality:
We ordered every single veggie dish on the menu. My fave was the spinach! What's interesting is that it wasn't too soggy. Soggy is such a weird term but what I mean is, there was just enough moisture in the spinach. They topped it off with a very light shredded cheese. Also good. Okay, the bread is so great! First of all, the way it was served is Mesmerizing... Just two thick loaves one on top of the other with creamy butter on top. Need I say more? The only thing I would change about the bread is that I would precut it. It was quite difficult to cut them into pieces. Next I got the smoked trout. This dish came with very, thin & slices of wheat bread. Overall, the dish was dry. I wasn't thrilled about the taste of the trout either. It tasted more like a tuna dip. I wouldn't get it again.
Ambiance:
If you've ever been Tocaya, it's comparable. Basically, the colors are vibrant and fun. So anyway, the restaurant helps charity organizations by collecting donations from customers. They have these cute jars in the front with the different charity organization written on them. You get this coin and choose an organization to donate to. The cutest idea ever!!!
One of my favorite spots in Venice. The mushroom toast is seasonal and worth every calorie. Very cheesy, very hearty. A meal on it's own. They used to have an orange (skin contact) wine but they can't seem to get it back in the menu. Their wine selection is pretty good regardless. They have one or two sour beers too.
Superba Food & Bread offers superior food, well-curated and fairly affordable wines by both the bottle and glass, sedated, industrial atmosphere, and straight-forward service. Superba Food & Bread is a very good expression of a food trend that focuses on informality and a core selection of food and beverage choices. I personally appreciate how the pick-up-bakery-coffee-but-wait-here's-a-smoked-pork-shoulder locale captures high quality execution with higher-than-average complex dishes (seared scallops, aforementioned pork shoulder, crispy cauliflower were stand-outs) coupled with options that show case that someone knows that they're doing with bread and desserts. A top choice for a local weeknight dinner spot, particularly on the early side when you have your kids in tow.
Great food, great coffee. There's typically a wait for brunch, but it's worth it.
Nice outdoor seating area. Good coffee. Amazing pastries!!
One of my favorites in LA. Coffee is very good the grain bowl is delicious. If you get in after noon get the rotisserie chicken.
Very tempting to seat and it has a airy space, but brunch was so so coffee was so so will not come back nope
The food was terrible, the parking is horrible, and some kid who lived on the residential street where everyone parks told me to go f*** myself. Needless to say, I will never be coming back here.
I am always torn ..I like SOME of the ways they do stuff but sometimes it's all kinds of weird menu decisions and price points are off. It's not gjusta when it comes to bread..but it has cute decor.
Very poor vegan selection, especially considering the location (Venice). Nice design though!
Food is solid. Staff is awesome. Need a reservation as it is always busy here. Juices are tasty, the bread is fresh and variety of food gives everyone in your party pleasing options.
Great food, coffee and pastries. Staff are great as well!
Definitely the worst coffee I've had in months. Rancid, with notes of burnt rubber. Starbucks-level. Also, they stopped serving pastries (possibly due to COVID?) - so if you're looking for a coffee break or a small snack, look elsewhere.
Best combination of amazing food and relaxed vibe. The burrata, fried cauliflower, kale salad (even if you don't normally like kale salads) are fantastic.
High quality ingredients w/ high quality - friendly service. Spinach and carrots are melt in your mouth delish. Juices are so fresh too. One of my dad and I s favorite spots on the WESTSIDE.
Excellent & inventive food, beautiful & modern environment & great service. This was my favourite LA dining experience by far.
Serving very hearty meals and not to forget the bread and desserts that are simply fabulous!
One of the best restaurants on the west coast and a very west coast restaurant at that. Wait staff was exceptionally attentive.
We happened to pop into this spot because it was near our AirBnB, and we weren't sure if we were over the moon about anything on the menu, but SO glad we did! All of our food was AMAZING! I would go back 100 times over!
Absolutely loved this place! My daughter and I visited when we were in Venice for vacation. The Staff was really nice and the food was outstanding. I wish I could find a place like this in Cincinnati.
a somewhat directionless menu - the portion sizes also go all over the place. Is it coffee shop? Is it a brunch spot? Is it Panera Bread 2.0 for west siders?? who truly knows. But their customer service and interior is always v nice!
I wish I'd never walked in these doors because now all I can ever think about it is lightly cinnamon-sugared roll they have! Really lovely baked goods - I tend to just drop in for coffee and a sweet. Glad it's not too close to my house ha! Definitely very busy at times but worth the wait.
These folks put out some quality food and beverages in a bright and open space. Really like this place. Can get a little Venice Hipster'y tho so if that vibe isn't your scene...
Seems like they have just put up the prices. Not too impressed with that as they were already inflated. Quality is good and service is great
Tried the fried chicken sandwich. Was really good, the coffee is bomb too.
The outdoor vibe is awesome. The doughnuts with passion fruit curd & raspberry jam are amazing. I'm pretty disappointed that this restaurant doesn't offer grilled chicken breasts. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich (bc I didn't see anything else I'd like or want) but I hate fried foods. I think grilled should be an option for those of us that stay away from fried foods.
What a beautiful location to enjoy food and company, whether it be celebratory drinks or small family dinner! Love the variety of available outside and inside dining areas as depending on your liking and needs. The pastries here are exceptional and innovative, and the folks were nice enough to serve them on the house (new guest)! The dinner menu is great too. The seafood dish ordered was nicely prepared, however the dish tasted was fairly overseasoned.
Our favorite brunch spot. The food is delicious, service is great and atmosphere is very cool. We haven't been there for dinner but I highly recommend it for brunch.
Great food, freshly baked bread and pastries.
Good good coffee and yummy plates.
Really a great spot.
Careful, parking in the area sucks and there is usually a line..
