I went there for a recall on my car and the service was great. When I bought my used car from there over a year ago it didn t come with a second key so my sales guy Johnny told me that he would take care of me and make me a second key, long story short I never went back when I was supposed to so a year and a half later since I was there already for the recall I went in to see Johnny and he remembered me and had a key made for me in about twenty mins. If you are going to look at a car Used or New ask for Johnny or any of the guys really in the used car department they are awesome and very personable.

I was coming close to my lease end and wanted to get out early. I met with sales associate Eric Chandler at Sunrise Toyota, from the moment I walked in until taking delivery of my 2020 Tacoma Sport I had nothing but a positive experience. Eric spent an endless amount of time going over all my options from a base model to premium. I did have some reservation with pricing due to what was affordable, so Eric continued diligently working with his superiors to get me into this vehicle. He advised that the truck was due in from the factory within a week. To make me more comfortable with my monthly payment and an add on which was important to me Eric again worked diligently with his superiors to work out the very best deal possible. I can't be more thankful for what Eric and Sunrise Toyota has done for me, I took delivery of an awesome truck with every option one can possibly want. If in the market for a new Toyota, I would highly recommend not only Sunrise Toyota, but one of the hardest working sales associates I have ever worked with. Eric is second to none...
In regards to their service and with my prior vehicle I could not have been any happier. With Sunrise Toyota you get the whole package and nothing less. To sum it up I would give Eric 50 stars if it allowed.

I bought a car from them and I lived out of state.So I told the sales person ( who was nice enough ) that I wanted to buy the car and take it home today. I waited about 5 hours from the time the deal was struck to when I actually drove off the lot, a total of seven hours I was there. The price they were asking for the vehicle was was fair, but then they hit you with the " dealer prep fee " which is bullcrap and close to a grand. Then I needed new plates last minute that cost 350 dollars, which they said was a standard fee that the state charges which I can't find that any where on the state website. It would have been a good experience minus the wait and all the extra fees. No wonder they have a grade of F on the better business bureau website.

Guy Falco, in sales, is an honest, easy-to-work with, friendly person who focuses on the needs and interests of others. He will go out of his way to make the buyer's experience a pleasurable and satisfactory one.

It was a pleasure buying a pre-owned car from Sunrise Toyota. I worked with Robert Parnagian and he was extremely accommodating and helpful. He even drove the car to my own mechanic for a thorough lookover! Robert put no pressure on me to buy the car. Finally, when I decided that the car was a good fit for me, Robert facilitated the buying process rapidly and without any difficulties. Best experience buying a vehicle. The staff were friendly and professional. Every one was hustling to attend to customers. They have a large clean waiting area.

BEWARE! I would highly recommend NOT bringing your vehicle here to be serviced. I went for an oil change and a safety recall and the advisor tried to get to me to have new front brake pads installed as well as to get a wheel alignment...even though my tires are almost out of tread but he said a wheel alignment could make them "last a bit longer." RIDICULOUS. He showed me that my brake pads should be in the "green zone" and I am currently in the "red zone" and he recommended I get new brakes installed that day. I declined and took my car to my local mechanic who was genuinely confused why I brought my car in, and said my brake pads are not even HALFWAY gone. CLEARLY Sunrise Toyota department is full of a bunch of crooks!!! Support local businesses and get your car serviced by a regular mechanic! I will never return to Sunrise Toyota.

I brought a friend there to help him buy a car and there was nobody in the dealership and the kept saying "Someone will be out shortly".so I started walking around back by the service area and 4 sales people were watching a baseball game sitting on the couch...I couldn't believe my eyes and after the receptionist paged for help 2 times....I said to the salespersons "Are you guys working"?.....So one guy went to help finally after 15 minutes ....I.never had to track down a salesman before usually they attack you when you arrive.....We ended up buying at ____Atlantic Toyota in West Islip___ because the gave my friend a better price and gave him Free oil changes and Free inspections for the term of the loan. And they told him to my surprise to open a Account with a Credit Union because they give Better Rates than a regular Bank. He only needed $25.00 to open the account....

It seems like all of the reviews I'm reading that give 5 stars all belong to the sales team at the dealership. I don't have any experience with them, as my car was purchased elsewhere.
My experience is with the service team.

This is the only dealership my car has been serviced at, and I have just under 100,000 miles on my car. I have never had a pleasant experience with the service team at the dealership. I have also never had an oil change at the dealership that took less than two hours. This is excessive. Through high school and most of college, I worked at a shop and I have changed oil on literally thousands of cars. The most challenging cars took 30 minutes, including the time it takes to speak with a customer about any potential issues.
On top of the excessive wait time, it always seems to be a problem for the "service experts" to answer questions about the manufacturer service milestones or the products they use in the vehicles. They don't offer clear reviews with you, but will instead tell you what services they will be performing on your car when you come in and how much money you will be giving them.
If you're fortunate enough for them to remember you're waiting, you'll be rung out at some point before they leave for the day. If you have one of the coupons they e-mailed you, they might take it if they feel like it. If they do happen to accept it, they will moan and groan and sigh while they give you dirty looks and adjust your balance.

I'm beyond dissatisfied with Sunrise Toyota's service team. I feel like there would have been at least one average experience by now, but there hasn't been. The sales team might be good (I wouldn't know), but if you buy a car from here you might want to visit another dealership for service. I'd even say that Walmart offers more professional/honest service and takes better care of the customers than this dealership does.

Caveat emptor. "Let the buyer beware"

Two months ago I purchased a used Tacoma from Neil Weissman at sunrise toyota.
When we made the deal the tacoma's the tailgate was supposed to be repaired and the pin-striping removed. I called the day I was to pick up the truck to confirm that it was ready, but when I got there neither of the two things were done.
Even though the truck was not ready I foolishly believed Mr. Weissman when he assured me that " he gets them in all the time and he would replace the tailgate as soon as he get one that matches"
That changed to "it may take a few weeks" when i asked him to put it in writing.
But Mr. Weissman did not want to put in writing because "even though he does stuff like this all the time it would cost him his job if the owner found out" so we went back and forth for almost two hours. Finally Mr Weissman did write me a note and I agreed that I would give him up to two months to fulfill his promise.
I tried calling him a few times, and when I did finally manage to catch him, he explained that he had " no reason to return my calls because he did not have any news"
After two months I gave up and had it repaired locally. I then sent an email to Mr. Weissman, copying Bruce Rabin the general manager. Mr. Rabin called and told me he was very upset and would come up with some type of resolution.
Mr. Rabin promised to call me back on 9/24, he did not.
Then Mr.Rabin was going to call me on 9/25, he did not.
Finally Mr. Rabin was going to call on 9/28, he did not.
So I posted this, and then he emails me saying he though he emailed me??

Ahmed Edwards was a very great sales associate. Very genuine and positive helped me get a brand new 2016 corolla! The whole staff fought to get me a great deal and I was very pleased with their service especially Ahmed's.

In fact when I was self employed my glass shop American Auto & Plate Glass Inc. serviced the dealership with its auto glass needs. I have purchased and leased a total of 5 vehicles. If you're considering a Toyota and you live anywhere within a 50 miles radius of NYC, you need to come here. They had such a great selection that I finally found the exact Prius I was looking for after a few months of disappointment from other dealerships.

Being this was my first official "adult" car purchase (I did this long distance, I might add), their team was surprisingly patient with my list of questions (Special thanks to Ross!) answered everything, and the used Prius I purchased was very clean and in great condition for this Queens resident.

I arrived to pick up the car and paperwork was well organized and speedy. Plus: I got a free stuffed Rooster!

Additional side note: If you need any additional accessories for your Toyota, this is the place to go. I almost ordered new rubber floor mats (my preference due to NYC road salt) from another company that overcharged for cost and shipping, but luckily I checked Sunrise's site and found exactly what I needed for a lot less!

Although slightly more pricey than a general mechanic, as a loyal customer, there are percs and they take care of the customer. It's definitely worth the little extra money. The staff is also very helpful, friendly & informative.

Attended the Customer Loyalty Event and turned in my Toyota lease for a new Toyota lease. I was told they would take my car back free and clear with no additional money due. A month later I received a bill for a disposition fee. When trading in Toyota for another Toyota being a "loyal" lease customer for over 7 years and a returning customer to Sunrise Toyota I should have never been charged. Called Atlantic and spoke to a very nasty manager that rudely said I am responsible for the fee because they went trough TFCU to fund the lease so technically its not Toyota to Toyota. Who they chose to fund loan is not my problem. The car in addition was not prepped to the way it should have been. When asked where the car mats were they tried to play stupid and told me it didn't come with them and I had to point out on the on the car package sticker it did. I had to send the car back to get re-detailed for the interior while signing the papers. I picked the car up at night so it was difficult to get a good view of the exterior condition of the car. When viewing the car in the daylight there were light scratches on both sides of the car. To add insult to injury I received a "$20" target gift card for attending the event and when I went to go use the gift card it only had $10 on it. If I could give them back the lease I would just on principle. I intend on escalating all of my concerns until Toyota does something about sunrise Toyota misleading the customers.

Steve Gonzalez greeted me with the warmest, sincere smile, followed by outstanding customer service. I was experiencing difficulty with the audio system on my RAV4. Steve was very patient, respectful and professional, as he demonstrated and reviewed the audio function. Prior to picking up my vehicle, Steve called me at home, to review what had been done with my vehicle. He was thorough and, again, very patient.

All employees were extremely professional and courteous; from the receptionist who remembered my wife s name from a prior visit, to our sales representative Mike R. to the finance team led by Josh, all were superb.

Mike R did a wonderful job providing detailed instructions on the vehicle s navigation and computer systems and was patient and professional answering all my wife s questions. Additionally, he was also very engaging with my 10 year old son. Mike quickly built a great rapport with him adding to the positive experience.
