Because my room and my friends rooms had bed bugs and we left with bites all over. We sent a message to the resort about this to no avail. Make sure your room has been checked for bed bugs before you stay

We reached out to them personally a few days ago but haven t heard back and was sent a link to review so sadly our experience we are reviewing was a poor one. For paying $500 for a night, we expected to have an ac that worked and a bed that wasn t the least comfortable we have ever experienced at a hotel, we also struggled to get any room service so dealt with it instead of it getting fixed. It was also a birthday present so we didn t even feel rested the morning after our relaxing weekend.

Beautiful resort but our room was in poor shape. The screen for the skylight over our bed was ripped, various blinds didn't work, the deck had a number of loose boards, a screen door wouldn't stay shut. There is a line between rustic and dilapidated and our room crossed it. Particularly given that the resort is not cheap, it was disappointing.

I like Sundance for many reasons. They have decent mountain bike trails, they have fun events and they try to be fairly upscale. There is a lot of room for improvement however as far as their level of professionalism, amenities and food offering.

We visited Sundance for the first time on Tuesday. It was a side trip from our trip to Park City. What a beautiful place! We took the lift to the top. The views were amazing! We then took the lift halfway down and walked the Stewart Falls trail. It is definitely an intermediate level trail, but my group of four sixty year olds managed to complete it in 2 1/2 hours. We had a late lunch at the Foundry Grill. The food and service was excellent. It was perfect weather for a perfect day.

This is a great local ski resort founded by Robert Redford 50 years ago. Family friendly. Amazing views, greatest snow on earth, and relatively uncrowded lift lines even on Saturdays. Costco offers discounted lift ticckets ($125/2 adult day pass tickets) vs paying $93 at the resort. Amazing sandwich bar inside the main lodge (brisket, Bacon/Turkey/Avocado, Chicken Salad, and Chipotle Chicken) are favorites at about $14/sanswich. A local taco truck also serves reasonably priced lunches.
Liftopia also offers discounts for lift tickets but you must purchase in advance ($55/adult day pass).

Good god, the Foundry Grill just gave me the most delicious steak I have ever had in all my days on this earth. I have now truly experienced the gold standard of steak, by which every other steak I consume will be judged. What a beautiful world we live in.

While I normally love the resort, I've just had one of the more frustrating, unaccommodating experiences with the various staff. My jackets weren't returned to me after an appointment in the spa, and I went to arrange pick up or shipping for the jackets which had clearly been marked as mine. The shipping was delayed so we cancelled, as I'd be in Park City the following weekend. Family in the area came to pick them up and Safety/Lost and Found (despite knowing the items were mind, refused to move the jackets 3 minutes to where my family was. The main staff refused to get assistance to help arrange this. The reception transferred me to the wrong restaurants, and then when the correct restaurant was dialed it went unanswered. I'm now on Facebook, because there is no email or phone to list complaints. A minor inconvenience turned into an hour of phone calls...the resort isn't large enough to have these types of problems.

Sundance Resort is a great place for their night time lift rides. I planned a date night here for their September 21st Full Moon lift ride. It was very easy to buy tickets online, but if you don't have an iPhone then you had to physically print out your tickets so that was a little frustrating that I couldn't use my Galaxy note 9 to show my ticket. When we got to Sundance the parking situation was good and there were people guiding you to where empty parking was located. When we got to the waiting area it was quite hectic and no one really knew for sure which line to stand in. There was a super long line that everyone was standing in but then someone that worked there said we that if we prepaid then one of us needed to stand I'm another line to check in before we could get on the life. After an hour of several of us being separated from our dates we finally found out there was no check in process. There were simply 3 lines for people with prepaid tickets. We finally reunited with out dates, waited another hour and finally got on the lift. Once on the lift it was great. Very quiet and great for talking and enjoying the next 45 minutes together on the full moon lift ride. It wasn't quite a full moon so their dates were a little off, but it was a great evening aside from long waits and some confusion. I would reccomend it again for those who haven't been. It definitely attracts a crowd.

The grounds are beautiful and well worth the trip. I would rate just for this. However we ate at the deli. I would give that experience . If an $8 PB&J for my son was bad enough (chips extra), my daughter wanted a minestrone soup. I was fine with that, until it came out stone cold. They said we could keep it and they would being out a hot one. The hot one was barely above luke warm. My daughter took a bite and started crying because it was so spicy. I took a bite and it tasted like I just bit into a bunch of peppercorns. I stirred the soup and tried another bite and it was just as bad. My sister got the same soup and it was just as inedible. The only positive experience was the staff that made a cheese sandwich and have a cookie to my daughter because the soup was inedible.

I love Sundance. Rustic, quiet, cozy, and yet so majestic. Nestled in the backside of Mount Timpanogos and the views are stunning! 20 min away from Orem Utah and the connected to the Alpine Loop.

I went on a hike to Stewart Falls with family, then we rode the ski lift down. We started early so the hike was very pleasant and riding the lift down was a great way to end our adventure. Beautiful scenery!

The food is good, I'd say a little on the expensive side except it's a resort so given that not bad. It's beautiful and they have free activities fairly often. My family loves the haunted lift ride and are hoping to do the ziplines sooner than later

It's a great place to relax and enjoy the sound of running water close to the cabins. It's great the way Robert Redford has preserved as much as possible while building this retreat taking out no more than needed to build. It's just amazing.

Some of the best skiing I've ever had. It was a little icy, but that just happens sometimes. otherwise, amazing place to ski, but I do not recommend it for beginners. Beginners who are reading this: go to Park City instead, unless you REALLY want to hug a tree.

This place was postcard beautiful!!! The staff was AMAZING! These were some of the nicest people we have ever met! The only thing I would change is how dated the bathtub was in our room. The paint was chipping all around the tub and it was not very inviting. Other than that.. just WOW!!! We had an awesome bartender named Greg too!!! Oh and Christian and Brayden were super awesome shuttlers! We cannot wait to bring the kids! Thank you for a beautiful retreat!
