It is a super spectacular place, with a first class service ... A true fantasy place. Very beautiful, not only because of its snow-capped mountains, its beautiful structures, the water of running streams and its small bridges that make one feel that one is in a story or a movie. And adding to that all the snow sports that can be done, its shops, its tasty restaurants and super friendly and lively employees. We did zipline which really was an amazing experience. We went to this place alone and enjoyed it very much. We also ate super tasty. The landscape back and forth were spectacular. I loved!. Approved Recommended 110%.

Sundance is a great place to stay, ski, or just drop in for a quick drink or lunch. We regularly drop in for lunch or ride the Harley up in good weather for a beer at the famous Owl Bar! Great place.Great food, and Great atmosphere!

Such a great little resort to teach kids to ski. They loved it!!

Good resort. It's at a lower altitude. Kind of annoying that they make you take your backpacks off

We visited the Owl Bar to listen to some great live music on New Year's Eve! Fantastic food!

Loved driving up Provo canyon to go snowboarding during the winter and mountain biking during the summer. You can buy a year lift pass that will allow you to do both. Lifts run year round to take you to some great paths. Great for BYU students being so close to campus.

The Halloween spooky chair lift was fun, but last year it was much better!

My husband and I went to see Oklahoma! in the outdoor theater. Beautiful setting and the cast did a really good job!

I rode the ski lifts to the top of the mountain. It was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Sundance is awesome. I love visiting. They have it all, all year round. Skiing, beautiful hiking, great dining, delicious caramels, nice accommodations, summertime plays, and more. It's a place you don't want to miss out on.

Sundance Resort is highly overrated. The scenery is very beautiful but that will not compensate for poor accommodations. My sweetheart was injured by a collapsed deck chair. The other old deck chair had previouly been removed and replaced by a banquet hall folding chair. Both deck chairs should have been replaced because they were falling apart thereby preventing the injury. A suggest a safety check of all furniture to make sure they are functional and safe to use. Very basic advice that even Motel 6 understands.
We were at Sundance cabin 24 for four nights and got maid service one time. The advertising brags about twice a day service which is a lie.
We did enjoy the ski lift ride to the top of the mountain, the trail ride, and the spa service. The fly fishing trip was more false advertising. The ad shows a pristine environment and experience. Our guide takes us to a trailer park along the river to fish because he has a place to park next to his uncle's travel trailer. Low budget operation and poor fishing experience. Very disappointing and an insult to the image Mr. Redford is trying to project.
The food and service at the Owl bar was very good. The outside tables next to the creek were my favorite. The Tree Room was an overpriced disappointment. The service was good at first but got really bad as our food had to be sent back for proper preparation. The facility is beautiful but that will not compensate for overpriced, poor service. The food at the Owl bar was better.
The Sundance Resort is a beautiful place but not even close to the 5 star experience I was led to believe I would receive. I am willing to pay for a 5 star experience but Sundance Resort has to realize that they have competition that can live up to their advertising.

What's not to like? Go to The Tree Room, but really everything is great here.

Beautiful location. Food at the Foundry Grill is very good.

We love Sundance as a close fun uncrowded resort. Wish season lasted longer but low base elevation means a short ski season.

Dinner is fantastic at either The Foundry Grill or Tea Room. The Tea Room had a little more upscale feel to it, but it's still casual dining. The food in both places is similar and delicious. We enjoy the brussel sprouts appetizer and Mountain spritzer drinks. Be sure to grab a shake for dessert and walk it off around the resort.

We fell in love with Sundance! God's creation was everywhere..... The accomodations, the staff, the natural beauty....everything was exceptional. Thank you - we are planning a family vacation soon.

Staff was really friendly. And I enjoyed my visit over there. I would go back that s for sure.

We went to do the zip tour. It was very fun and the staff was very helpful and nice.

Beautiful area. Plenty to do including biking down the ski slope, casual bike riding, hiking,plenty of souvenirs and snacking options.

Sundance is beautiful. I love walking around the grounds in the fall.

Beautiful resort at the bottom of the slopes. Couldn't ask for a better location to be for snowboarding or skiing. Great food too!

This place is the best... the owl bar is so rustic and quaint yet not kitch.

I go up every summer to mountain bike and it's always great. Well run, friendly staff, great mountain, and beautiful views all close to Utah county.

We have taken the kids 2 times snowboarding and have loved it both times! The employees were fantastic!

Sundance is a great place to visit on or off season. Aside from skiing and mountain biking, there's a cozy little bar, a highly rated restaurant, a cafeteria, a gift shop and much more.

We went night boarding. Didn't know there was an extra $10 during holiday season. They could use updated lifts. But overall we had a fun time.

I was up there for snowboarding like most people. I always have a blaste!

Clean mountain air, nice paths and water features to walk around and see. Gets cold and dark a little earlier than you might expect, because it's in the mountains.

The arrogance of this place continues to shock... completely inflexible rude and condescending.. customer service is non existent

Outdoor version of the lodge food at a slight discount because of the outdoor seating. Overall tasty food and quick service!

It is a lovely place surrounded by mountains with very good slopes to slide, kids enjoy and the food is good.

We stayed at the Mandan lodges and it was fantastic. They were so cute with a mountain Flair. I love that I have a small kitchen if I wanted to cook a quick and easy breakfast, but I also had a short distance to some of the finest restaurants in Utah.

Well taken care of property. Beautiful in any direction you look. The resort blends in to the mountains. Nice and helpful staff. You might want to bring a jacket.

The resort was very nice. The staff was very kind and the scenery was beautiful. We had a great time and we look forward to returning. Our mattress in our room was not great but that's about the only thing we disliked during our stay.

I love the place wish they would update their website. lift price went up.

All my favorite dates end up happening here. I love the community, the style, and the variety of things that can be done at Sundance.

Was a pleasant day for a motorcycle ride to the resort to have lunch. Ate at the deli. Food is always good there and you usually have to wait a few minutes in line but it's worth the trip to eat outside and enjoy the view. Would recommend to everyone to make the trek there..

Went and watched UVU's presentation of Annie Get Your Gun. It is a gorgeous setting! We sat on the lawn seating and it was just fine (and less expensive).

The people are friendly and the scenery is gorgeous

Come here for a snicker doodle cookie once a year. Love this place.

I highly recommend booking your stay over the phone. They have "hidden" discounts (such as AAA and "local resident") that aren't listed on their website. If you wait until you arrive to ask about them, it will be too late as their standard policy doesn't allow them to retroactively apply discounts after booking is complete.

As for the resort itself, we enjoyed it quite a bit! It was a bit on the expensive side, especially for us non-skiiers, but it was nice. There are two restaurants and a bar. We visited all, and they were all great. They also have some fun activities for non-skiiers such as an art studio, a spa, and a zipline. We stayed in their cottages, and those were also nice. The cottage we stayed in had 3 "apartments", and the walls were a bit thin so we could hear people walking above us occasionally, but the size of the room was good and the bathroom was nicely separated from the sleeping area.

All in all, it was a nice stay, and as a Salt Lake City resident, I think we'll go back again - especially if we can take advantage of more of their discounts, now that we know about them :-)

Service and amenities are great as you'd expect but of course you come here to enjoy the mountains and scenery, which do not disappoint.

We had a beautiful time in Sundance celebrating our Anniversary. The front desk upgraded our cabin to a full suite, brought in delicious desserts, and went above and beyond what was expected for our stay. We will be coming again. :) (There is no air conditioning in the cabins. Only fans.) It was warm during the day, but with the windows open at night it was pleasant.

Sundance is an incredible place. Other than great ski and bike trails, they also are constantly hosting fun events, festivals, markets, plays, and themed chairlift rides. Their restaurants are high end and delicious, the resort is good and the environment is wonderful.

Wow! From the Check-in with Kaitlin to Concierge (use of a gorgeous Acura SUV) with Brenda... from our Mandan cabin to chair lift rides & hikes... we enjoyed a celebrity-style retreat!

My husband, puppy and I escaped for a few days up to Sundance and we had such a great time. From the top of mountain and Bearclaw, to our cozy room, to the wonderful food available at all of the eating spots to the awesome trails. We love The Foundry Grill for Brunch, we really enjoyed the Tree Room for our first dinner there and got a great Italian sandwich at the Deli. They go out of their way to make you feel so comfortable and welcome. Kind of hate to do a great review as we would love to have this place all to ourselves :)

Brooke was an excellent hostess and the food was good, but the outdoor seating and venue make this a 5 star event.

Excelent place to attend with a variety of activities to participate in all year long. Some of the most affordable skiing in Utah and probably the biggest bang for your buck. Awesome summer and fall outdoor activities and not a bad place to host an event.

This place will always hold a special place in my heart. It s very immersive in the mountains and has a wonderful culture

Beautiful scenery everywhere, very classic feel. Great skiing, well groomed, never felt crowded. Easy parking very close to lifts.

We went and took family pictures. There were many amazing spots for pictures and many of the other guests very respectful.

I went to see a play during the sunset theater season. It was lots of fun. The outdoor setting means you get the cool Utah night weather, so bring a blanket. If you buy lawn seats, you can bring your own chairs which are even more comfortable then the normal seating. Being a blanket! It gets chilly.

Went ziplining. Was nice for a small resort. It won't have the amenities you're used too at bigger resorts. The view is amazing though and the food is pretty good.

Awesome resort! It s has a lot of great runs and unbeatable views at the top. It s a little smaller than other resorts, but still big enough to have a lot of great runs. Not super crowded either, which is so nice!! The workers are also super friendly. Great place for snowboarding, skiing, family, etc.

Wife and I went to the haunted ski lift last year and this year. Last year was really fun, and the scenes were great. This year was still fun, but not quite as good with the stuff on the ground. Regardless, a cool and unique thing to do around Halloween.

A group of us were going for a fall hike. The only price the Sundance Scenic Lift website reflects is last season's price of $15. Instead, they charged us $20, not allowing us to purchase Ray's Summit only tickets as they have in previous years. Price increases are annoying, but acceptable when clearly communicated on the website.

Sundance is amazingly beautiful. The facilities are nice and clean but not overdeveloped.
