Ziplined at the Resort today. Just fantastic! The staff was so friendly and helpful and allayed my fears. The views are spectacular.
One of the most beautiful locations in Utah. I ve been here twice to hike and enjoy the restaurants.
Most Beautiful place on earth, right up Provo canyon. We drove the Alpine loop around timpanogos. A must see place!!!!!
Beautiful, quiet, summer hiking, outdoor activities
Sundance has always been late to open the ski season. This year they opened a month after Brighton. There was not much snow and only one station open when i went there last week. Still they charge full price for 1 day ticket. It's still one of my favorite ski resort because it's close and less crowded.
Sundance had a special atmosphere that makes it very unique. That being said, if we are speaking strictly about the snow, it's sub par compared to other resorts in Utah, especially as you get into the spring.
It is a paradise, as you walk, eat in its beautiful restaurant, its customer service is first class, the mountain bike ride takes my breath away, and who to return to!
Stopped for food going through alpine loop. Deli was good and clean.
Beautiful scenery and an awesome atmosphere. The rooms are nice and a cabin feel, but the facade and decor could use some refreshing soon. Need more places to plug-in and a few other cosmetic updates. The restaurants are first class. Signage on where to go for check-in and getting to the rooms needs to be clearer...the gate agent sent us to the wrong area...twice. Overall, still a beautiful and fun place that's not nearly as far as Park City, even if it feels a bit more dated than the luxury accommodations in PC.
Ate lunch at the Foundry Grill with a work group and not only was the food spectacular, but the service and atmosphere make this a place I will recommend without any hesitance.
I learned to ski here at Sundance years ago when I was in college. I love this resort because it s big enough to be fun and have variety but not so big or busy that you get lost or feel overwhelmed. I was traveling to prove this past weekend and had an extra day in the area so I decided to go skiing to Sundance for the day. I had an absolute blast. It wasn t busy at all and I bought my lift pass and rental online and got both for $75 dollars total, I felt like that was very reasonable. The snow was nicely groomed and the equipment staff were so kind and helpful. I can t wait to come back again.
Great place for Summer Sunday Brunch and to see Trout about in the creek. Highly Recommended.
Sundance is always absolutely beautiful, they have well kept grounds and exceptional service.
So much fun! Small ski area, but great terrain and small crowds. Had a great time!
Love the easy access to great runs. The back sooner of the mountain is amazing
Loved mountain biking there. Fun trails and friendly staff.
We rode the lift and zip line and it was a blast. The location is beautiful and well kept, the price was appropriate and the whole experience was worth it! The equipment is in good working order and they have friendly staff there to teach you how to use it safely .
In my 4x4 Ford, I went to Sundance to meet Robert Redford, it was Beautiful though we didn't meet.
One of the few places that know still how to do service. Showed up with a group of 8 and they quickly took good care of us
We went on the skilift ride. Staff was very friendly. It was a beautiful day.
Beautiful place. The tree room restaurant is fantastic. One of the best steaks I have ever had; the peppercorn steak.
It's a great place to ski/snowboard. Close and not too out of the way. However because it's so low its season is smaller to ski.
We enjoyed the skiing and the hot chocolate at the lodge. It has a great bunny hill for beginners and some really fun advanced runs.
Close spot for skiing in the winter, and some fantastic mountain biking in the summer! Seriously one of my favorite routes to go hit after work or for a weekend fix
Lived of off 8thN for 25 years, NEVER HAVE I BEEN DISAPPOINTED, always PROUD TO LIVE IN UTAH COUNTY! NOT EVEN LDS
Sundance has a excellent location for social gatherings. The location is absolutely beautiful, the mountains and everything surrounding it is unreal. Sundance doesnt offer the best skiing or snowboarding Utah has to offer but other than that this is a great location
Best skiing or snowboarding at the best prices found in Utah.
This is a great place to take your loved one on a date. Super peaceful and pretty views and landscape. It was overpriced in my opinion, for just a simple ride up the lift and back. The mountain bike trails would totally make it worth the price.
GREAT FOOD IN A BEAUTIFUL ALPINE ATMOSPHERE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE STARING ACROSS THE TABLE AT MY LOVE
It was a beautiful location. It has full facilities while still retaining the rustic outdoorsy feel
We just went to a fun summer concert series and enjoyed an evening of friends. Very beautiful resort and enjoyable experience
Very good food at the grill. I went during brunch and had some pretty darn good prime rib and poached eggs chorizo hash
We were there for a work Xmas party. The pavilion we were at was gorgeous. Parking was accommodating as well. Only complaint would be the roads up the canyon we're still super slick but that's not the resorts fault.
Great place. Staff was excellent, Matt Baird on ski patrol was very helpful and great with our family when we needed him.
Zip lined for the first time ever! Amazing. Beautiful place.
Great ride with beautiful horses. Mike and Jamie make it a ride to remember. The scenery just can't be beat.
The mountains are gorgeous! Everything was exactly how you would expect it. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because the lift closes so early. I was proposing to my fencee. We got part of the golden hour but not much.
Amazing place! Beautiful welcoming resort with excellent food and employees. We will go back. Would love to experience in both the summer and the fall now.
We live the resort for uts atmosphere and restaurants and impeccable service. Great hiking in the area. The rooms are super clean and a rustic cabin style. The downfalls are the rooms really need updated. For the $400-600 price a night in the summer, they should upgrade to add central air conditioning, unfortunately climate change requires it. Also a King bed should be standard, there is plenty of room for one. The TVs are ridiculously small. The price is too high for what you get in a room. Also, double check the amount of stairs to your room, can be quite a hike.
a stunning property with one of the friendliest staffs I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. everything was perfect, from the room to the food to the amenities. I could not recommend this resort highly enough.
Went to for a night of skiing. Had a great time with friends! There's not so much snow yet this year, but the couple of runs we could do were okay. The resort is open until 9 so we were glad to get in a few hours!
Fantastic views and delicious but very overpriced food and limited menu at the Grill. $24 for the salmon plate in my pic. It was about 1/3 the size of a normal portion.
We expected a bad day in the rain, but we're thrilled with the snow. Back Mountain and Jake's were a fun little place to visit.
The clouds surrounding the mountain were beautiful. Eventually, the storm blew out and it was amazing.
It was great of course, all their facilities live up to their reputation.
I went for skiing. I think they have had much more snow in previous years. There was only one open lift, and basically only one run. It wasn't fun. I'll make sure to check the snow report and check if many runs are open before going back.
I went up to do draw the scenery in my sketchbook. It is a very pretty area and I thoroughly enjoyed it. $3 is a little pricy for a can of soda though
Getting to the theatre was difficult and exit strategy of bussing people to their cars was rough.
Really cool spot. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the room I was in, but never felt out of place in the surroundings. It was the right mix of rustic and relaxing!
We went up to Sundance for the Moonlight ride. We highly recommend it! It is about 45 min up and back. Worth the $20 for a ticket. It was busy but the wait wasn't long and the buses were never busy.
Excellent place for coffee in front of the foundrys grill restaurant
I've been to several ski resorts in Utah. Sundance is definitely special and has the absolute best vistas and views anywhere. It's not really developed like the big Utah resorts with huge colonies of 15 room mountain homes. This is truly a special place.
Just beautiful! Tucked away in a beautiful small canyon.
Beautiful setting for a first class resort. The restaurants serve an innovative menu that is excellently prepared.
Sundance is the quintessential place to relax, commune with nature, and even explore your artistic abilities in the many classes offered here. One's practice of meditation or yoga can also be nurtured , and the serenity of the spa and its outstanding treatments will allow you to feel as if you have never been so relaxed before in your life. Sundance is not a resort with swimming pools, tennis courts, and golf courses. Fortunately, it offers something much rarer: tranquillity. Whether one gets up early to witness the sunrise on Mt. Timpanogos or stays up to watch the moon and stars fill the sky, Sundance may very well become a personal retreat, as it is for me. I have now been fortunate enough to have been able to experience during six visits the rejuvenation that this gorgeous mountain setting provides. Robert Redford has created a special place quite unlike any other. What a gift, both to visitors and to the environment, which he has so carefully preserved and protected here at Sundance.
One of the prettiest places in Utah. The restaurant is classy and tasty. We've done the Zipline adventure and the fall chair just ride, so even if you don't ski, this place is great.
Beautiful ski resort! The views here at the base of Mt. Timpanogos are spectacular. Not a huge resort, but affordable and less crowded.
I have a friend visiting from CA. We rode tge lift to the top at Sundance. The views were amazing. The nachos at the Bear Claw cafe were the bomb! Can't wait to go back and do the zip lines!
Lovely afternoon trip while in Park City. Although, we did not eat at the restaurant, the menus looks great and had a lovely visual appeal. The grounds are beautiful. I especially enjoyed the artists in action, in the art studio.
We had the most amazing time. Usually we say that we will not return to a place, as there are so many wonderful places to visit in this world but Sundance is an exception. The atmosphere, people, facilities and restaurants were tip top! We went fly fishing and I did pottery. We were there for RR birthday on the 18th August, and it would have been my dads too on that day. I always feel so sad on that day but not this year Sundance brought Sunshine dancing into my life !!- Louise Robertson ( previously Emmett)
I love the Halloween chair lift. Make sure you buy the bean bags for a chance to win lift tickets
I love sundance! It's never not gorgeous! They do such a good job of always having something to do every season.
Road the ski lifts. It was realy fun. Also got to snuggle with a cute girl ;)
Great place to learn to snowboard. Friendly, clean environment.
A short visit and walk around is all we needed to know we want to come back and spend more time here!
