Sundance has always been late to open the ski season. This year they opened a month after Brighton. There was not much snow and only one station open when i went there last week. Still they charge full price for 1 day ticket. It's still one of my favorite ski resort because it's close and less crowded.

Sundance had a special atmosphere that makes it very unique. That being said, if we are speaking strictly about the snow, it's sub par compared to other resorts in Utah, especially as you get into the spring.

Beautiful scenery and an awesome atmosphere. The rooms are nice and a cabin feel, but the facade and decor could use some refreshing soon. Need more places to plug-in and a few other cosmetic updates. The restaurants are first class. Signage on where to go for check-in and getting to the rooms needs to be clearer...the gate agent sent us to the wrong area...twice. Overall, still a beautiful and fun place that's not nearly as far as Park City, even if it feels a bit more dated than the luxury accommodations in PC.

I learned to ski here at Sundance years ago when I was in college. I love this resort because it s big enough to be fun and have variety but not so big or busy that you get lost or feel overwhelmed. I was traveling to prove this past weekend and had an extra day in the area so I decided to go skiing to Sundance for the day. I had an absolute blast. It wasn t busy at all and I bought my lift pass and rental online and got both for $75 dollars total, I felt like that was very reasonable. The snow was nicely groomed and the equipment staff were so kind and helpful. I can t wait to come back again.

We rode the lift and zip line and it was a blast. The location is beautiful and well kept, the price was appropriate and the whole experience was worth it! The equipment is in good working order and they have friendly staff there to teach you how to use it safely .

Sundance has a excellent location for social gatherings. The location is absolutely beautiful, the mountains and everything surrounding it is unreal. Sundance doesnt offer the best skiing or snowboarding Utah has to offer but other than that this is a great location

This is a great place to take your loved one on a date. Super peaceful and pretty views and landscape. It was overpriced in my opinion, for just a simple ride up the lift and back. The mountain bike trails would totally make it worth the price.

We were there for a work Xmas party. The pavilion we were at was gorgeous. Parking was accommodating as well. Only complaint would be the roads up the canyon we're still super slick but that's not the resorts fault.

The mountains are gorgeous! Everything was exactly how you would expect it. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because the lift closes so early. I was proposing to my fencee. We got part of the golden hour but not much.

We live the resort for uts atmosphere and restaurants and impeccable service. Great hiking in the area. The rooms are super clean and a rustic cabin style. The downfalls are the rooms really need updated. For the $400-600 price a night in the summer, they should upgrade to add central air conditioning, unfortunately climate change requires it. Also a King bed should be standard, there is plenty of room for one. The TVs are ridiculously small. The price is too high for what you get in a room. Also, double check the amount of stairs to your room, can be quite a hike.

a stunning property with one of the friendliest staffs I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. everything was perfect, from the room to the food to the amenities. I could not recommend this resort highly enough.

Went to for a night of skiing. Had a great time with friends! There's not so much snow yet this year, but the couple of runs we could do were okay. The resort is open until 9 so we were glad to get in a few hours!

We expected a bad day in the rain, but we're thrilled with the snow. Back Mountain and Jake's were a fun little place to visit.
The clouds surrounding the mountain were beautiful. Eventually, the storm blew out and it was amazing.

I went for skiing. I think they have had much more snow in previous years. There was only one open lift, and basically only one run. It wasn't fun. I'll make sure to check the snow report and check if many runs are open before going back.

We went up to Sundance for the Moonlight ride. We highly recommend it! It is about 45 min up and back. Worth the $20 for a ticket. It was busy but the wait wasn't long and the buses were never busy.

I've been to several ski resorts in Utah. Sundance is definitely special and has the absolute best vistas and views anywhere. It's not really developed like the big Utah resorts with huge colonies of 15 room mountain homes. This is truly a special place.

Sundance is the quintessential place to relax, commune with nature, and even explore your artistic abilities in the many classes offered here. One's practice of meditation or yoga can also be nurtured , and the serenity of the spa and its outstanding treatments will allow you to feel as if you have never been so relaxed before in your life. Sundance is not a resort with swimming pools, tennis courts, and golf courses. Fortunately, it offers something much rarer: tranquillity. Whether one gets up early to witness the sunrise on Mt. Timpanogos or stays up to watch the moon and stars fill the sky, Sundance may very well become a personal retreat, as it is for me. I have now been fortunate enough to have been able to experience during six visits the rejuvenation that this gorgeous mountain setting provides. Robert Redford has created a special place quite unlike any other. What a gift, both to visitors and to the environment, which he has so carefully preserved and protected here at Sundance.

Lovely afternoon trip while in Park City. Although, we did not eat at the restaurant, the menus looks great and had a lovely visual appeal. The grounds are beautiful. I especially enjoyed the artists in action, in the art studio.

We had the most amazing time. Usually we say that we will not return to a place, as there are so many wonderful places to visit in this world but Sundance is an exception. The atmosphere, people, facilities and restaurants were tip top! We went fly fishing and I did pottery. We were there for RR birthday on the 18th August, and it would have been my dads too on that day. I always feel so sad on that day but not this year Sundance brought Sunshine dancing into my life !!- Louise Robertson ( previously Emmett)
