I attended a work party at Sundance Resort. The resort was beautiful and it was a fun atmosphere. There were a lot of guests so the food ran out quickly but it seemed to take longer for the staff to replace the food. So many guests had to stand in line waiting for a while for the food to come.

This resort was a blast. The terrain park wasn't that big, but the upper part of the mountain was so much fun. Also, the Sundance team was awesome! Especially Charlee She's pretty freakin' cool.

Great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, dining, and celebrity sighting. Robert Redford owns this spot and this is where the Sundance Film Festival got it's start. Great place to visit all 4 seasons.

Pretty small resort compared to the others fairly close by. And they desperately need to replace the kiddie rope tow with a magic carpet. I almost injured my 4 year old trying to help him up the bunny hill.

A gorgeous place with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a terrific dinner in the Tree Room with inspired and creative entrees. Enjoyed the scenic chairlift. We like rustic, but our cabin at River Run needs renovation and updating. No USB charging ports and old lamps that were dim. Cheap looking art. Bathroom and sink not in good shape. We were disappointed and that is the reason for the 3-star rating.

Lovely place to visit no matter the season. If you're a tourist or even a local, it's a must go! I tend to visit at least twice a year as each season offers a very charming, natural beauty.

Very nice resort, quaint atmosphere, good food and rustic feel. Nice runs, the back side of the mountain is supurb, the only problem is that the chairlifts are slow and uncovered. Overall great place though!

Did not do the zip line, but understand it is one of or is the tallest in the u.s. that closes at 4. The grounds are beautiful. On Sunday there was music being played and folks spread out on the grass to listen. All kinds of folks here including many locals.

Had an all day business meeting up at the resort. Staff is always great. Venue was very clean and tidy. Staff was prompt to clean up after serving. Food was slightly under part, but to be expected when it's a business meeting in a without a real kitchen.

We came to Sundance because of the 5th grade passports for our kids. Used Liftopia for our passes because while Sundance is closer in size to Beaver or Nordic Valley, it's prices are in the range of the bigger Cottonwood Canyons resorts.
We arrived early, which helped with parking. The Red lift was closed for a maintenance (broken) issue, and didn't open until 3 to 3:15pm! As this is one of their fastest lifts, servicing the highest peak, and half the blue terrain, this put a LOT of pressure on the main front lift and the only other back mountain lift. Crowds wouldn't have been so bad though if the lift operators had utilized better lift management skills and made sure every seat was filled on every chair, instead of allowing 2 to 3 riders on a quad, or allowing kids to use the singles line to still go 4 at a time with their buddies but jump the line.
As far as snow quality, it was decent, but not as nice as I'd expect for 3 days after a major storm. Terrain was okay; we had the most fun runs once Red lift opened for the last hour, but then a storm also rolled in and cut down visibility.
We didn't try the food truck (high priced, and we bring our own), and I didn't see much in the way of a lodge to go inside near any of the lifts.

Just went for a day of skiing; I'd probably give it a better rate if all the lifts were open--they weren't though. I will say that while it wasn't for open yet they discounted the passes heavily which was really nice.

The skiing experience was pretty good, however I feel compelled to give a poor review due to my disappointment in the Ski Patrol. Of the several patrol members we saw, only one was wearing a helmet. Ski Patrol have an obligation to be a good example to patrons, especially the young ones. I am incredibly surprise that despite their experience in tending to skiers with head injuries, the majority of patrol members choose not to wear helmets. Very disappointing.

We came here to enjoy outdoors and see some amazing views. We had such a fun time. Everything was really nice and beautiful! There were people using a zip line that looked so scary! Then a ton of mountain bikers. I m happy to live so close to such a beautiful area!

Visiting Sundance is reminiscent of my childhood days 55+ years ago when we would get round cinnamon suckers on a wooden stick. It has maintained that feel of a rustic hideaway, yet full of updated history, some of the best food around, entertainment, skiing, shopping... all within the beauty of our beautiful Utah mountains. A place of peace just 35 minutes away.

We had the opportunity to visit and stay at the Sundance Mountain Resort as part of a business trip. The customer service and attentive staff was outstanding. We were astonished and marveled at the natural beauty of Utah, the clear air and blue skies, the majestic snow-capped mountains. It truly was an opportunity to unwind and appreciate nature at its finest. The accommodations were comfortable and nicely appointed. The restaurants were outstanding. A wonderful resort for the outdoors and adventurous people anytime of the year.

I absolutely love this place. I'm not a skier, but there is so much to do. The rooms, cabins, homes, are spectacular.

The spa is outstanding.

The food is phenomenal at either the Foundry Grill for casual, our the Tree Room for some real high end food. Tons of artsy stuff too.

Awesome zip line, mountain biking, plays in the summer, and from what I hear, some pretty darn good skiing too. Plus fly fishing

You have to check this place out. Spend a night or two if you can.

We had such a great time. Loved everything about this resort. The location, just an hour from the airport, the service, all the staff are so friendly, the facility, the snow. Everything is perfect, will be back!
