Amazing food. Wait staff was great and knew the menu well. It is expensive, but you're very much getting what you paid for.

Watched a film at the Sundance festival. Great atmosphere.
Very your resort and friendly staff. Cable car experience is must one
Such a beautiful location, and the staff is fantastic!
Beautiful mountains, helpful and friendly staff. Easy hikes and reasonable prices. A peaceful place. Can't wait to go back.
I attended a work party at Sundance Resort. The resort was beautiful and it was a fun atmosphere. There were a lot of guests so the food ran out quickly but it seemed to take longer for the staff to replace the food. So many guests had to stand in line waiting for a while for the food to come.
Beautiful mountain resort. Lots of fun summer activities.
Never skied here, but it's got some fun activities in the summer!
This resort was a blast. The terrain park wasn't that big, but the upper part of the mountain was so much fun. Also, the Sundance team was awesome! Especially Charlee She's pretty freakin' cool.
Went here for a full moon ski lift ride! Enchanted and beautiful!
Great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, dining, and celebrity sighting. Robert Redford owns this spot and this is where the Sundance Film Festival got it's start. Great place to visit all 4 seasons.
Smaller resort but fun. It has some fun culture, but is also very crowded.
Gorgeous, relaxing retreat that blends well with the nature around it. Great food in amazing setting!
I've alway loved Sundance. The atmosphere is so perfect. So serene and beautiful. The food, the facilities, everything is pretty much great.
Very nice mtn resort. Enjoyed a nice lunch (maybe a bit pricey) and rode chairlift to the top. Views were amazing!
I went snowboarding at night and I enjoyed it a lot! I recommend it!
Good resort on a good snow day. Great place on a powder day. Most days it is pretty icy though.
Service was great but the value for the food is not in line with the cost.
Breathtaking views in evey direction. Take a ride on the zip line. It's worth every $!
Pretty small resort compared to the others fairly close by. And they desperately need to replace the kiddie rope tow with a magic carpet. I almost injured my 4 year old trying to help him up the bunny hill.
Got a pretty good season this year, nice slopes but the lifts are old and slow.
I've been coming here since I was a small child. Such a convenient distance from Provo.
The resort is beautiful during the summer and winter. In the summer, we love to ride the chair lifts and hike. The falls are the best!
Had the lamb chops in the restaurant. Maybe a little to much pesto but overall it was great...most awesome cheesecake I've ever had
A gorgeous place with very friendly and helpful staff. We had a terrific dinner in the Tree Room with inspired and creative entrees. Enjoyed the scenic chairlift. We like rustic, but our cabin at River Run needs renovation and updating. No USB charging ports and old lamps that were dim. Cheap looking art. Bathroom and sink not in good shape. We were disappointed and that is the reason for the 3-star rating.
Sundance is a great ski resort, lots of great runs. The back mountain is a ton of fun.
Great place, a little remote, doesn't have very good cell service.
Lovely place to visit no matter the season. If you're a tourist or even a local, it's a must go! I tend to visit at least twice a year as each season offers a very charming, natural beauty.
A large number of trails to go down from easy to difficult. Staff members were very helpful to a first time skier.
The lack of high speed lifts for both skiing and summer mountain biking leaves you waiting in line or sitting on the lift for too long.
Small quaint ski and summer resort. In the summer and fall you have to try the zip line! Worth the cost.
Awesome lodge with great cabins. Beautiful area also!
Watched an outdoor play, aside from a lot of walking and waiting, it it was very fun. Seats were the least comfortable part.
Excellent company Christmas party. Food was excellent!
Very nice resort, quaint atmosphere, good food and rustic feel. Nice runs, the back side of the mountain is supurb, the only problem is that the chairlifts are slow and uncovered. Overall great place though!
Did not do the zip line, but understand it is one of or is the tallest in the u.s. that closes at 4. The grounds are beautiful. On Sunday there was music being played and folks spread out on the grass to listen. All kinds of folks here including many locals.
Always an amazing time at Sundance great food great experiences amazing people.
Had an all day business meeting up at the resort. Staff is always great. Venue was very clean and tidy. Staff was prompt to clean up after serving. Food was slightly under part, but to be expected when it's a business meeting in a without a real kitchen.
Love the location of beautiful scenery, restaurant and lift.
We came to Sundance because of the 5th grade passports for our kids. Used Liftopia for our passes because while Sundance is closer in size to Beaver or Nordic Valley, it's prices are in the range of the bigger Cottonwood Canyons resorts.
We arrived early, which helped with parking. The Red lift was closed for a maintenance (broken) issue, and didn't open until 3 to 3:15pm! As this is one of their fastest lifts, servicing the highest peak, and half the blue terrain, this put a LOT of pressure on the main front lift and the only other back mountain lift. Crowds wouldn't have been so bad though if the lift operators had utilized better lift management skills and made sure every seat was filled on every chair, instead of allowing 2 to 3 riders on a quad, or allowing kids to use the singles line to still go 4 at a time with their buddies but jump the line.
As far as snow quality, it was decent, but not as nice as I'd expect for 3 days after a major storm. Terrain was okay; we had the most fun runs once Red lift opened for the last hour, but then a storm also rolled in and cut down visibility.
We didn't try the food truck (high priced, and we bring our own), and I didn't see much in the way of a lodge to go inside near any of the lifts.
Just went for a day of skiing; I'd probably give it a better rate if all the lifts were open--they weren't though. I will say that while it wasn't for open yet they discounted the passes heavily which was really nice.
Lift service sucks. Sit down restaurants are great but expensive. Almost zero options for quick good food on a ski day. Way too many stupid teenagers on snowboards.
Closest place to go for folks in utah county. Cheaper than anywhere else and decent runs.
Beautiful place.. Love it everytime I go. Employees are always friendly.
The skiing experience was pretty good, however I feel compelled to give a poor review due to my disappointment in the Ski Patrol. Of the several patrol members we saw, only one was wearing a helmet. Ski Patrol have an obligation to be a good example to patrons, especially the young ones. I am incredibly surprise that despite their experience in tending to skiers with head injuries, the majority of patrol members choose not to wear helmets. Very disappointing.
No lift lines on a Tuesday and the snow was perfect!
We came here to enjoy outdoors and see some amazing views. We had such a fun time. Everything was really nice and beautiful! There were people using a zip line that looked so scary! Then a ton of mountain bikers. I m happy to live so close to such a beautiful area!
Amazing property, great food, great service, simply wonderful.
Visiting Sundance is reminiscent of my childhood days 55+ years ago when we would get round cinnamon suckers on a wooden stick. It has maintained that feel of a rustic hideaway, yet full of updated history, some of the best food around, entertainment, skiing, shopping... all within the beauty of our beautiful Utah mountains. A place of peace just 35 minutes away.
Sundance has always been my favorite to go place for either dinner , hiking in the summer , skiing in winter , especially night skiing on Wednesday when it s 40 bucks for 2 people deal.
We had the opportunity to visit and stay at the Sundance Mountain Resort as part of a business trip. The customer service and attentive staff was outstanding. We were astonished and marveled at the natural beauty of Utah, the clear air and blue skies, the majestic snow-capped mountains. It truly was an opportunity to unwind and appreciate nature at its finest. The accommodations were comfortable and nicely appointed. The restaurants were outstanding. A wonderful resort for the outdoors and adventurous people anytime of the year.
I absolutely love this place. I'm not a skier, but there is so much to do. The rooms, cabins, homes, are spectacular.
The spa is outstanding.
The food is phenomenal at either the Foundry Grill for casual, our the Tree Room for some real high end food. Tons of artsy stuff too.
Awesome zip line, mountain biking, plays in the summer, and from what I hear, some pretty darn good skiing too. Plus fly fishing
You have to check this place out. Spend a night or two if you can.
We had such a great time. Loved everything about this resort. The location, just an hour from the airport, the service, all the staff are so friendly, the facility, the snow. Everything is perfect, will be back!
