Great prices and service. There was one section of trail where I very much felt that my life was in danger due to there being a 30 foot cliff-like drop with nothing to prevent me from going over.

A beautiful mountain canyon setting with some nice hiking and biking trails around it. Limited if you're there more than a couple days but still nice and quaint. One small nuisance, is Monday thru Saturday the Foundry Grill doesn't stay open through breakfast into lunch. They close at 10:30AM for an hour until 11:30AM when they reopen for lunch. Since The Foundry Grill is the only sit down breakfast option, that means no late breakfast for those who are enjoying a slower start to their day. Sunday they do brunch from 9AM to 2PM though and it is a great brunch!

For biking, this place could be so amazing. Updated trails and some trail maintenance could make this one of the best places to ride. Sundance should look to DV or Canyons for some advice. Fair price though. The others mentioned could look to SD for ticket costs.

Great place to go for mountain biking but it's expensive. Plenty of other trails around the area are free you just have to be willing to do some uphill biking. If you're looking for straight downhill then this a great place to go. Most trails are moderate difficultly but there are some expert trails and a handful of jumps. If you have full suspension there's a lot you can do but also plenty to do with a hard tail. Beautiful views on Archie's loop.

We have always had a great experience here until this stay. Price had doubled. We were told it now fluctuates daily and it was high bc demand was high. We could not make reservations in Foundry Grill so ordered in. Meal was far below previous Sundance standards. Heat did not work in bathroom. We were so unhappy with this shift in philosophy we are likely to go elsewhere next trip.

Had a wonderful one-night stay for a birthday celebration. We had a fantastic room and got to take a scenic chair lift, have dinner at the Tree Room (must do!) and enjoy some live music at the owl bar. Great staycation getaway for locals!

My wife and I come here every year but usually for the full moon lift ride. This is the first time we took the lift during the day and all the way up to the summit. It wasnt too crowded and it was so beautiful.

We went skiing for a scout activity. There were many boys that were learning for the first time, but the bunny hill's tow rope was broken which forced us to go on the bigger hill. One of the boys ended up getting a concussion

This place is amazing! Where else can you have such a beautiful outdoor experience and also participate in a concert? The backdrop has pine trees, which fill the air with lovely scents. I love the outdoor fireplaces and benches for people to sit around and talk in the evenings. September is definitely a beautiful time to be there before it's too cold, and when a fire still feels good at night.

Nestled up against Mt. Timpanogos, Sundance is the most beautiful ski resort in the world! The mountain offers terrain for everyone. After a good snowstorm, the powder is as good as anywhere.

I went to the event of the "full moon lift rides" it was magnificent! They had bus from the parking lot to the line to climb the mountain on the chairs. It was fun, and I would do it again.

Cabin in the Woods... secluded with a fireplace, wood, and kindling. The room had a small kitchenette (2 burners, small refrigerator, and sink), with toaster, coffee maker, and dishes provided. Everything you'd need for a night or a week. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Great place to feel like you're out of the city. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the restaurant. Food used to be better, but the menu changed as did portion size and quality.

What's not to like about Sundance!? The resort itself is small and quiet compared to it's much bigger neighbors throughout the Wasatch Front, but that's the reason for it's unique charm. Everything from the restaurant, cafe, store, ski shop, and even the lifts themselves are classy adding to the charm of Sundance. Speaking of lifts, they are slooowww so be prepared to spend more time on the lifts as compared to other resorts.

Finally, the skiing here, even with it's slow lifts is phenomenal. The backdrop of Mt. Timpanogas is perhaps the most beautiful of all the resorts in Utah. This makes those lift times much more bearable because you're staring at stunning scenery. Also, the snow is great, cus Utah of course!

All in all, this is a 5 star review because you just can't beat the small, simple, yet classy nature of Sundance. Even with it's slooowww lifts, you'll be happy you came here!

I only went for dinner at Foundry Grill but I groll but the entire place looks beautiful at night. People were skiing and it was decorated for Christmas. Braised sprouts were excellent! I went on a weeknight the week before Christmas and it was not very crowded. Recommend!

Sundance is always a gamble on the snow and if you will get a full season of skiing. It also has limited skiing areas. For some reason, they have quit maintaining the runs, so there are a lot of small trees and bushes limiting there runs even more. It looks like skiing is not their priority anymore.

I was so excited that there was availability over the Memorial Day weekend. We needed some rest and relaxation from a lot of stress recently and were excited to 'head for the hills'. Sundance did not disappoint.. at all. Our accommodations were wonderful and peaceful. The food was amazing. We rode the lift up high on the mountain and thoroughly enjoyed all of the fantastic views. Plus, everyone was so friendly. We loved our silversmith and soap making classes. A big shout out to James and Mandy and Emi. Was fun to meet all of them. The air seems fresher and the wonderful fragrances that are uniquely Sundance were a treat. Thank you all.

Visited the Tree Room for our ten year anniversary. The food was very good, though you don't get a lot of it, but that may be normal for a 5 star restaurant. It was very slow, though again that may be normal. We had lots of personal attention from the staff and they were all very nice and accommodating, which could have been due to the fact that it was a Wednesday night and there were only 4 tables occupied. Overall, it was fun to do something so fancy, and it certainly felt fancy, and if given the chance we would go back again, though it may take our 20 year anniversary to justify the bill.

Awesome place to come and enjoy the canyon and mountain air. Beautiful location. In the summer there is mountain biking and zip lining. They also have a fly fishing outfitter on site so you can hire a guide by appointment. Michael, the guy in the fly shop, is knowledgeable and super cool. Great food and views. Maybe a little pricy, but worth a visit.

What's not to love? Amazing skiing runs and nicely laid out parking lot. If you go during the week it is really slow there so you don't have to wait in line. Saturdays tend to be quite busy so get there early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the crowds.

The ski lift ride was great. Pretty summer day and the ride seemed to go on and on. Beautiful scenery, helpful workers. We got off at the very top, watched the zip liners, and took a few pictures.

Beautiful setting for outdoor lovers. An active creek runs through the main area near the restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff on the chair lift. Lots of marked trails for hikers and bikers. Would love to try the zipline! Enjoyed Mama Mia at the outdoor theater. Will come back again.
