I began working with Patrick Chaban while I was in the hospital and told him exactly which 2 cars I was interested in purchasing one of. We haggled back and forth for several days until I got the prices that I wanted, cash, no trade. He was ready and waiting with the two cars I had chosen when we talked and emailed. My son drove both and Pat showed him the different colors and he was detailing the car getting ready to move out the door.

Drove 500 miles each way to Sun Toyota based on a strong referral from a good friend to call Greg Holland...My friend's family had been buying cars from Greg since the late 1970's. Don ensured a first-class customer experience. John answered many questions via phone and e-mail before we drove the distance. We had specific requirements so Greg, Don and John worked as a Team to take good care of my family and get us the right car at a fair price. Next time our family needs a car, we'll call them first. When you need a car, call their Team.

I have bought my last three cars at Sun Toyota since 2000. My first service rep was Bill, he left and Lance has been taking care of me since. I chose Lance! He is personable, knowledgeable and takes his time with me. No rushing, answers all my questions and calls to make sure that I was happy with my visit. I drive up from Clearwater, so you are not close. If it were not for the personal service of Lance I don't know that I would continue to drive 45 minutes for my service. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any of the service techs, but I can say that my car is clean when I get and I have not had to bring it back, so they are doing a good job. I like Sun Toyota!

Kevin Johnson did a wonderful job. He was very helpful and very friendly. He made the car buying process very easy and did everything possible to get us the best deal on our car. He will definitely have our business in the future! And he is an asset to the company!

John Siver He is a respectful and kind good worker, he got me a good deal with bad credit and a very nice car with all the powers as they say, I never felt pressured to buy something that I didn't like, very attentive. I recommend it for your next car purchase!

Fake advertising, try to get you there by saying you are pre-approved for up to 40k, then do 12 inquiries on your credit report and wait for 3 hours to tell you you need co-buyer

I started talking with Patrick Sacca in regards to purchasing a Toyota Tundra. He and his sales/service team worked tirelessly with me and I couldn't have had a better experience. I had a very tight timeline as my family and I were moving to Colorado. We were trading in two vehicles and taking this one truck 2000 miles to the mountains. Patrick, Eddy, and Willy took such good care of us, even bought us dinner and catered to our every need and want. Willy took the time to provide us options in our accessory needs and got them installed in time and professionally. Davy Jones explained everything in detail, presented options, and walked us through the closing process with confidence and vigor even into the late hours of the day. From sales to service, it was awful. They advertised one price online and when you go there, it is a different price. I was told that I had to purchase some exterior protection package and it was almost $2k! Very unhappy with this place and I wanted to give them a shot since I live close by. I rather drive further for better service. Got ripped off in sales and then got ripped off in service. Don't ever get your cars tinted here. We agreed on a price for tints and wanted the whole truck tinted. Truck got half the tints on there and if we wanted to do the other half, will cost more. John got involved and was very helpful at the end. Big thanks to him for stepping in and assisting with the service issue.

DJ LISTENED to what I was interested in and what I was not interested in. He is knowledgeable and answered my many questions professionally and honestly. Every employee was top notch.

I have never had any problems with this dealership, from the moment I got my car, to going back for oil changes, questions or concerns! They go above and beyond for their customers. Let me start this by saying, I m not an easy car buying customer. I go at buying a car like going to war. That s because I ve had salesman take advantage of me more than once! Just like most of the population out there. So I go in ready to do battle. Nael didn t do that, he was straightforward right from the start. And because of his honesty from the beginning I have returned to personally buy a total of 3 automobiles and my son has bought 1. Eddie Chaviz has sold me & my family 2 of the 4. Eddie listens to your needs and is patient, showing you everything, he even lines up the vehicles side by side so you can actually compare them! These guys don t push the expensive vehicles on you, they show you what your asking for, what you need. The day I bought my new 2020 Tacoma, Eddie pulled out at least 6 vehicles before I chose the Tacoma! Lining them up side by side, showing me the difference between them (Options and ect.). Making sure that I felt good about my decision, no pressure either. That s rare for a dealership! In my lifetime I ve bought probably at least 25 vehicles: trucks, suv s, minivans, luxury cars, sport cars, almost EVERYTHING , so I feel very confident in writing this. Because of these two guys, not the Toyota brand, because I pretty much like all brands, I m now Team Sun Toyota! Oh and by the way I do love my new Taco, just like they said I would.....

My new Prius had a flat tire!! There is no spare with my model yet the service Agent Tony Roche went ABOVE the expected rote process of waiting to get one in to replace mine; instead he "borrowed" one from a car on the lot so that I could have a car & not experience any inconvenience or cost!!!

Need some people that how to service people and need better mangers

I stopped in at Sun Toyota because there was a pretty 2013 Lexus SUV visible when driving by. I had the pleasure of dealing with Kevin Fortunato. Even though it was late in the day and I had not done any comparison shopping or ever had owned a Toyota before, I walked out with a BEAUTIFUL Toyota Highlander Limited with all the bells and whistles. As a Mercedes owner for many years, I was afraid that this brand would not compare in luxury, but it does! It has all the features I wanted, including the navigation system, heated seats, sun roof, blue tooth, satellite radio, etc, etc. Kevin listened to what I wanted and only wanted to see me happy with the purchase. The finance manager was very nice and took care of me quickly and effortlessly. I opted for the bumper to bumper extended warranty and now will have no worries for the next 7 years/100,000 miles and nothing out of pocket. Dealing with this high volume yet caring dealership was a very pleasant experience instead of the usual stressful car buying, haggling experience. I would recommend Sun Toyota and Kevin Fortunato to anyone looking to buy a car with a minimum of pressure or stress.

I sought out Don Smith since I had a great experience in the past with him. I sold my Tacoma to the dealer and the price was more than fair. Don insured I was totally satisfied before I left, and I WAS! My Wife and I met with Don and bought one of the RAV4 models my wife found on the internet. Price was right, car was clean and ready for delivery and the paperwork was almost all automated. Don more that explained all the aspects of owning a certified used auto as did Chase the finance manger who put all the paperwork together for us. One of the warranties we received was fantastic and FREE! EVERY question we had was answered to the fullest. You want a top notch salesperson Don Smith is your man. We will be a Sun Toyota family for life. You cant help[ but go to the experts when you need a car and that is Sun Toyota. I bought a used 2015 Corolla last weekend and I love it! The car looked good online so I went to see it. I was very pleased when I got there. Sales Associate, Willy Patti, greeted me immediately and took me for a test drive. The car looked, smelled and drove like a brand new car. Willy took the time to go over the whole car with me, inside & out, explaining how everything worked. He was very personable and easy to work with as was everyone else I encountered during the process of purchasing my beautiful new car. In my experience, car-buying was always stressful. Went to service for a Key to my Toyota suv came out with a SUPRA that i did not know was out yet. Wanted one since i saw my first one in 1982 Great experience. Thank you for bring back my child hood memory to make it a reality.

I bought a used car from Sun Toyota and our salesman was John Siver.
Although, it was his first week there- he did great. He was patient with us throughout the whole process, he reminded us that we were going to leave with the car that I wanted after losing hope that I wasn t going to end up with it. Very kind and friendly guy. 10/10.

Absolutely one of the worst car shopping experiences I've ever had trying to buy an automobile, the rudest sales manager, and pushy sales people I've ever encountered.. Stay away.. Far far away from this joint.

This place is a joke if I could give them negative stars I would I purchased a 2018 Tacoma last year in January and they lost my paperwork for 5 months then the deal finally went thru just figured it was a mishap they had just recently replaced the finance manager so I brushed it off let s give it another try I thought so I took my 18 to trade into a lifted 19 taco signed all the paperwork for the deal everything was suppose to be good then two days later to tell me that the deal isn t any good and I need to bring another 3000 dollars on top of what I allready put down or bring the truck back so I will be there to drop the truck off and take possession of my 18 back and I will never purchase another vehicle from them again

I had an awesome experience with Sun Toyota from start to finish. When customer service begins from the start it goes a long way. My fiance received a call from Nick who said he will do everything in his power to beat another deal so we allowed him that chance. Another dealership was not able to provide us with what we needed. Nick called us later that day and provided us with quotes and we drove an hour to get to them. We were greeted and he had lots of knowledge. He made it simple and we left with a brand new 2018 vehicle. Nick over came all the challenges we gave him and we are loyal customers now. Tommy "Chills" was fantastic. There was no pressure whatsoever. He found us the exact vehicle we were looking for at a price we were happy with. As a sales person myself, these people really know customer service! From the time you walk in, you know you are in a well run establishment with people that take pride in what they do. I specifically worked with Ben Miles and he is an absolute professional.

I had so many questions and he answered them all patiently and made the car search process very easy for me.

My price range wasn't the highest but he still treated me like a valued customer and showed me what I could afford and what fit my lifestyle.

He also informed me of warranty and financing solutions but did not pressure me to make any decisions.

This dealership is 50+ minutes from my home in St Pete but I will GLADLY make the drive to buy from them and highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

I will share this recommendation on every platform possible so that people know where to get their next car.

This is the only third time I have ever dealt with a new car dealership. The first two were long winded back and forth for hours !!! Working with Sun Toyota, and Eddie Chavez (salesman extraordinaire) was a pleasure. He was quick, efficient, pleasant, polite. Seriously, felt like dealing with family !!! I can't see myself shopping anywhere else in the future.

I saw the corolla I wanted and Saul Grossfeld walked me through the process with no pressure, but good information about the car, and was very polite and courteous to my 11yr old daughter. This was by far a great car buying experience. The Toyota name speaks for itself, but the employees at Sun Toyota raise the name to a higher standard.

Always outstanding service. The staff regularly keeps you updated and gives you a good idea on how long your service will take. Waiting area is large and clean with complimentary coffee and water and a little cafe. Love this location!

This is the 2nd vehicle we purchased from Sun.

I had been shopping for a couple of months, looking at 1 vehicle at Sun, 1 vehicle at Lokey, and many on Carvana. I was stressing a little because I was about to go over on my mileage on my lease and my lease was not up until April. I started online with Sun because that's were I purchased my lease; but being a Toyota dealer they only had 1 Armada which is what I wanted. I didn't go look at it right away because I didn't think I'd like the black interior. We went to Lokey because we found one that we really liked and quickly learned they are a bunch of rip offs...hidden dealer fees that are sky high compared to other dealers; it was an immediate turn off for me so we left. After that experience, I started looking at Carvana to avoid those fees and the haggling.

My husband and I were set to make a purchase on Carvana because of the selection, the reviews and the ease. But on the morning of black Friday I told my husband lets just take a ride over and look at the Armada at Sun...online it was a little over budget but had all of the bells and whistles including leather and it was local. Sun is known for their Lifetime Warranty and the service we receive has always been great when bringing our vehicles in for maintenance.

I went to the front and to my surprise recognized the salesman who sold us our 4Runner 3 years previous. He remembered us as well. I told him which vehicle we were interested in. He took us straight to the managers counter and introduced as a repeat customers. The manager was also the same as our previous visit (THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN AT DEALERSHIPS; turnover is crazy). Anyway, we got an amazing deal, they beat the Carvana prices and we have the SUV we wanted within budget. The team made the deal quick and painless (as quick as car buying can be).

Daniel Bateman IS our sales person. He is not pushy, he is patient, and his tenure is important to me! Michael Rinaldi is our service manager and he is also GREAT!

The only thing they didn't do was fill the tank with gas before we left the lot...we got everything else we wanted.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new SUV from Sun Toyota! My sales consultant was Leslie Gray, and she is FANTASTIC. After corresponding with Leslie via email, my friend and I drove 2 hours to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. Leslie was just as friendly, professional, responsive, and efficient in person as she was during our phone and email communications. She really took the time to understand my concerns and did everything possible to make this purchase happen. Her effort and diligence was greatly appreciated. In fact, everyone we met that day was wonderful - Trey the Executive Manager came over to greet us, Tish in Insurance, Cliff in Finance (who was extremely patient with us), and Willy in Accessories. We just bought a Highlander from the dealership. Great service and selection

I purchased a truck from them on 5/31/18 it's now 6/17/18 and I've just replaced the radiator and fan/fanclutch, radiator had been leaking since the day after I took it home. And it still needs more repairs. A/c condenser and a/c line, this truck was improperly repaired after it was in a collision. Supposedly it was "safety checked" before sale... Beware used car sales at sun toyota!

Pros:

The dealership looks very nice and very clean. I bought my 2001 Corolla from here and already brought it 1 time to get serviced and the man that helped me was a very nice guy.

Con:
I went in here 3 times, once to look at different cars and another to actually buy my 2001 Toyota Corolla and then another to get it serviced. The first time I went in I was told that if I came in again that I would be given a gift card for coming in. So I went in a second time. The second time I dealt with a gentleman and he sold me my Corolla for $3500 and did not mention that the car would need another $2000 in repairs. I guess that the name of the game with any car buying but I really thought sun Toyota would be different. And I also never got my gift card they promised me. And then when I went to get my car serviced, it was a good experience until I drove my car away. Everything was fine except for the fact that my car now pulls to the left where it never did that before.

So in conclusion, if you need to get your car serviced then check your car immediately afterwards and if you are buying a used car from here, bring a mechanic you trust.

I spent several months researching used SUV's for our family and when I saw the vehicle I wanted, Pat at Sun went above and beyond. He got me a great price for my trade in that had been in 2 accidents, then took even more off because he knew I had a strict budget. Pat even got me a better interest rate than the bank had given me prior to arriving. I am a mom of 2 and I was in a hurry to get littles rounded up from daycare. Pat had me in and out in no time, moving cars around so I could transfer car seats, he really made the car buying process quick and easy and I cant thank him enough! We ended up with a gorgeous 2017 Toyota Highlander and I couldnt be more happy with it!

On Saturday 2/08 my Husband and I decided we would go to Sun Toyota to look for our second car from there. We had an appointment with Valen Tenney and he was very personable and professional. During the process, John Heisler also helped us work out a deal to make sure we left with the car we wanted. I highly recommend Sun Toyota in Holiday!

Last week I bought a silver Rav4 2015 XLE with 25000 miles at Ford of Leesburg for my wife. I loved that car so I ended looking for the same model and year, but white to keep the silver for myself, because my wife like better in white. I found it at Sun Toyota with only 11500 miles on it according to the odometer and the records showed in Carfax. I went for it and Patrick Pintavalle was very patient and nice, with a great domain of what he was doing. He didn't push me to much and at the same time he gave me all the explanations and offers. I feel it was a good deal for both parts, I was happy and they were, too. They worked with me in the price. I got very good warranties in this car, and with only 11500 miles on it and one owner, it is a like new car. A very good experience with this salesman at Sun Toyota.

My Prius is 10 years old and finally had a maintenance bill! I guarantee that my next car will be a Prius, too. Sun's mechanics got my Prius to 68 mph, and fixed some other more minor problems, too. The service staff is always courteous (a big call out to Baron and Greg), and they make me feel at home while I wait. The mechanics are great. Did I mention 68 mph?

Don O'Brien really went above and beyond for me! After looking everywhere else not only did I find the perfect car but the perfect place to buy it from as well! Don was able to answer all of our questions on the spot and made the whole expertise that much easier, I wouldn't recommend you go anywhere else other than Sun Toyota, just stop in and ask for Don!
