I wish there was a 0 star option. They are ok until you purchase the car. I have had my tacoma for a month now and dont have plates to legally drive it. I have called several times and they just now said a week after it expired that they will send me new plates so lets wait and see if i get my real plate or my temp tag. They lied to me and sold me the skylink service guaranteeing me it would save me 25% on my insurance it saved me nothing and costed me 900 dollars and you cant cancel it. Obviously the car is good its a toyota but there are more than enough other dealers i wouldnt waste my time dealing with these guys. Once the deals over its lies and ignoring any help you need find a better dealership to help accommodate you

I wanted to thank Carlos Allicock and his manager John Marazzi. I ve always bought older cars and they were constantly breaking down. I have kids so this wasn t practical for me. So I went looking for a newer car. No one would help me because I have no credit. I called sun toyota and I was transferred to Carlos. I had no car at the time, they sent me an Uber and before they did they promised me I wouldn t leave without a car. True to their word they were. Carlos listened to my needs and budget. I never once felt pressured, he did everything he said he would. I m beyond happy! My payments are very affordable! Better than I even thought! Way below what my budget even was! I have purchased numerous vehicles in my lifetime including those in the luxury category. I have never and I mean never, experienced such an incredible and stress free buying experience as I did at Sun Toyota. I had the privilege of working with Mr. J. London who is a magnificent salesperson for so many reasons.

Buyers want to feel they can trust their salesperson. If a buyer doesn't feel that, forget it! Mr. London immediately gave me that impression. He is extremely personable, has a high level of product knowledge, and the best part is, that he knows how to listen. A very genuine guy. I told him what I was looking for, what I wanted in the vehicle, and what I wanted to pay for it. When I had something to say, he was intently listening. He wanted to know what my needs were, and he wanted to meet them. That's what you want in any person who is providing you with any type of service. I feel like I got really lucky with him.

The Finance Manager was also terrific and friendly, as were all the staff members I encountered during the process. The dealership is HUGE, modern, clean and buzzing with buyers and staff. There is a level of professionalism and customer appreciation that I loved and put a very high value on. I was also introduced to people who I will be seeing when I bring my new vehicle in for service, and they were just as terrific.

Sun Toyota even has a cafeteria with a top notch Chef in the kitchen, who is cooking up some delectable items for the lunch menu. There is a comfortable luncheon counter with stools where you can eat, or you can have your lunch at your salesperson's work area (Mr. London was so gracious). There is also a huge comfortable waiting area for customers waiting for their vehicles being serviced. I hear coffee & donuts are available in the mornings.

You are going to meet some genuinely nice people at this dealership who want you to drive out of there in the vehicle you're dreaming of having. They will do whatever they can to get you there, but they will do it honestly. No haggling, no over-selling, zero pushiness and you will value the amazing level of customer service. There is a reason they were rated as a #1 Dealer.

All pre-sale was fantastic as expected. After sale my sales guy is totally ignoring me. I've sent emails, called and left voicemail and texted my sales person about a question regarding missing documentation on the Platinum extended warranty I purchased on my CPO 2019 Prius. I've had zero response. It seems that Sun Toyota was more interested in making a sale than creating a customer. I'll not do business with them again.

I had my car serviced there and I can t say anymore about the experience I had with Don O Brien. He was on point with the time the service would take and super knowledgeable about the work being done. He answered all my questions and was very professional. Normally I hate going to dealerships but Don made the experience enjoyable.

My experience was amazing at sun Toyota. I called in and checked to see if they had a 2005 Mazda rx8 that was advertised online and a gentleman : Jason heard answered and gave me all the details. I told him I'd be there with in the hour and by the time I got there he pulled the car to the front and had it all ready to be test drove. Jason gave me all the info and greeted me in a very professional manor. Jason had a great conversation with me and didn't try to push the car on me he just gave me the information and let me make the decision. I purchased a 2018 Tacoma on Saturday and on Monday called and spoke to Frank, my sales representative and he immediately said to bring the vehicle in. Next day Frank was off so Michelle immediately took over, the experience was unbelievable This young lady is going to go far; her professionalism her kindness and personality are amazing, she spent the entire visit making sure I was taken care of, completely hands on and caring. Maxx worked with me throughout the day making sure I was being taken care of and by the end of the day the issue was resolved. Robert Torino from financing is awesome, Chad the relationship manager is fantastic and the manager who worked with us the day we purchased the vehicle is fantastic, even Miss Pinky at the cafeteria is the nicest lady ever. I was in the market to buy a new 4Runner. Was given pricing in writing by salesman, Jason Modugno. When I was able to make it to their dealership, after a two our drive in heavy traffic, they were sold out of what I wanted. The salesman knew I was on way and I asked him to check stock so he knew what they had when I got there. He checked and did not call back to let me know they did not have SR5 4x4 in stock, Deceptive. He just wanted me there to try to close a sale, but not by being transparent.

He then tried to work out pricing on another trim line, XP model, but price was $3,000 higher than previously committed price.

Jason then said he could order in the model priced and keep everything the same, but he was going to charge me $200 for the locate to bring the car in. I agreed and initialed the pricing and he went to get it approved.

When he returned he said he couldn't get it approved and it was going to cost more, it was $600 more. He then said we could get it down by reducing the tag fees, but it was still more than $500 high.

I said I will pay the price you quoted me, plus the $200 locate fee and not a penny more. He wouldn't, so we were done. I drove straight to Gettel Lakewood Toyota in Bradenton, FL and bought the same vehicle, for the same price Jason at Sun Toyota originally offered, LESS another $250, to beat competitor pricing.

If you won't honor a price you gave in writing, then you are not worthy of my business. I RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY! Give Gettel Toyota Lakewood your business, they keep their word!!!

We just traded our 2013 Prius in for a new 2015 Prius because Aaron gave us such a great deal on a new car. Aaron was not high pressure which was a pleasure. We already know that the service department is excellent. All around great customer service.

Overall I had a positive experience purchasing a car at Sun Toyota. I worked with Nicholas Nardello, who was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. He was friendly but genuine, not pushy at all, and he really worked with me to get me a great car that fits my budget. I honestly can't say enough about him. I left with a gorgeous 2018 Honda Civic and I couldn't be happier! I gave 4 stars because of two disappointments. One is that there was a group of 4-5 employees smoking cigarettes right in front of the building near the entrance. I asked Nicholas if that is normal and he said they should be in the designated smoking area in the back of the building. I found that to be incredibly unprofessional. The other disappointment was with Max, who helped me with financing. At one point, I felt that he was not being transparent with me. When I confronted him, his attitude soured for the rest of the transaction. It was awkward because there is so much waiting during that part of the buying process. Instead of being able to make small talk, there was a silent negative energy hanging in the air. I told him at the beginning that I was a bit anxious because I don't have a lot of experience buying and financing cars. I wish he had done more to make me feel comfortable. When you work with people, you have to be able to maintain a positive attitude, even when dealing with a difficult client or situation. At the end of the day, I was very happy with the loan and interest rate Max was able to set me up with.

This is now the second vehicle I purchased from Sun Toyota. I knew I wanted a Rav 4 and I worked with Brian Keane and he was absolutely amazing. He was able to get me the best selling price possible and I was able to move forward with the purchase. He has even been great with answering follow up questions that I have. Everyone I had to work with at Sun Toyota was great, Luis in the finance department was great at explaining everything too.

We went to see Jason honestly with very low hopes due to some personal issues with our credit. He went above and beyond! We were able to get into a perfect Kia Sportage with 20k miles on it for the price we needed and took in our truck on trade. If your looking for a new car I highly suggest you go see him!

I had an excellent experience at Sun Toyota. Tommy Chills was my salesman and was forthright and friendly. I told him what I wanted and what I could afford and he worked hard to get me where I wanted to be. I was brought in by the persistence of Margaret Campo who took time to check in with me until I felt comfortable enough to visit the dealership for my VIP appointment with the car I wanted pulled up front and a test drive right off the bat while all the paperwork was being processed. I was skeptical at first as we all are when buying a new car and kept expecting a curveball at any time but it never really happened. I came in upside down in a dodge at a horrible rate and they not only got me a better rate on my brand new car but I was actually called back in 3 days later because they had saved me an additional $4000.00 by finding me a better lender with a much lower rate than the first I had agreed upon. I can truly say out of the 10+ times I have bought a car this was by far the best car buying experience I I have ever had. I would recommend Sun Toyota to anyone looking for a a new ride.

I bought a 2020 Toyota Tacoma from Sun Toyota on 8/21/2020. I can t say enough good things about the dealership and the staff. Benjamin and Lee were fantastic. They were courteous and professional. It was a no BS buying experience. I had previously tried to strike a deal with Toyota dealers near me but only got the sales run around. Dealing with Benjamin to negotiate the initial deal was straight forward and he bested other quotes by a fair amount. You can t beat Sun s prices or service. It was well worth the drive and I highly recommend this dealership.

My RAV4 was in for it s initial 5,000 mile service. I was in and out in about 45min. All good.

Everyone was very friendly, of course. However, as usual, I left feeling ripped off. I intended to spend a little less than 20,000(including fees -according to internet communication) plus tax for a used Rav4. I left paying 30,000. I was never asked if I wanted extras. They just kept raising the price after every conversation. They talk fast, act very helpful and stick it to you good. I love the car though. Just wish car dealers could be more honest. Also did not get the advertised 25 dollar gift card for my test drive.

Actually always had a great experience with their service. They offer discounts on Sundays and will offer coupons if you ask. Ive never felt high pressured to upsell, they do, but not high pressure. Works so far has been good. Comfortable lounge and free water / coffee and a snack bar.

I brought my 2016 Sienna van in for the 50,000 check last week. Michael McKinley was my advisor that day, and he was very professional and personable. Because my previous service had not gone as well as it could have, I was given a rental car for the day and my van was detailed and washed after it was serviced.

We have been buying from Sun for 18 years, and will continue to do so. And even though we now live in Hernando County, we continue to only deal with Sun Toyota in Pasco County.

I have spent more than $120,000 on 4 cars from Sun Toyota. Never again. Sun Totota, Southeast Toyota and Morgan Auto Group can rot. I purchased a Certified Pre-owned 2015 Toyota TRD Pre-runner in 2016. The payments are more than my mortgage. I stopped taking it to the dealership for service a year ago when I was quoted a $400 service cost, another ASE certified mechanic performed the same service for $210. About a month ago, I noticed the paint bubbling on the tailgate below the handle. My brother owns a body shop so I took it to him. He determined that I had rust perforating the tailgate from the inside where a sound deafening material that was placed by the manufacturer was holding water, causing the rust. He told me to contact Toyota. They have a 5-year corrosion warranty that covers perforation from the inside- however they denied the warranty repair on my 3 year old truck because the rust was due to environmental factors . To top that, it took me a month and 4 hours on the phone to get their reason for denial. Are you kidding??? I live in Florida! Salt is everywhere! Would they deny the repair in a northern area where they salt the roads? I don t drive my truck in the ocean. Next time I will buy another manufacturer s product. I recommend you find a manufacturer and/or a dealerthat provides a warranty AND honors it. Maus Nissan is looking like a good alternative for next time.

I have owned several Toyotas with the usual painful car buying experience. My last experience was an exception. Sun Toyota created a great impression several years ago and this time I came directly to them no questions asked. This is my second car from this dealer and I confirmed why. Even though I drive by a big Toyota dealer every day I drove 50 miles out my way for the second time in several years and I was not disappointed. They are professional and respectful of your time. You will receive and offer that you can not refuse and if you have bought cars before you know what that means. Cutting all the haggle and the draining of your soul. They will still work with you if they have to come down a little. Believe me You will not be disappointed. You will not sit waiting like a fly on the wall and you will not be annoyed by a sales person trying to make a quick buck! I had the opportunity to work with Pat Chaban who demonstrated to be very knowledgable with the features of my car. He even assist me, as I am not millennial, downloading the app on my phone for my car services and introduced me to the service department. Their insurance department is quick and efficient and they will assist you with your own insurance. No doubt my next Toyota product will be out of Sun Toyota . Keep up the good work guys!

This dealer came thru for me, gave me best options and packages. I bought a Tundra sport TRD. I am a Ford guy and was looking to get a new 250. But really Ford dropped the ball. So thank you Ford for doing that or I wouldn't of gotten the best ride and deal. Sun Toyota has me and my company's business for now on. Romni was our man there that mad it happen!

My husband and I came to San Toyota looking to take home a car and a truck. Little did we know the amazing experience we would have and with the help of our super salesman Dana Busby, we left with the perfect car and truck for us. The entire team worked to helped us to have a great experience. The following day when my windshield wiper fluid wasn t working and my husband needed a little attention to the truck the service team quickly replaced the fuse and ordered a light and we were on our way.
