I've wanted to see this place for years and I'm glad i finally took the tour. The most real collection of music history anywhere. This little place and it's people are responsible for providing the world with many genres of music for over 75years. Our tour guide was great at telling the story of Sun Studio and the people who made it and the people it helped to make. The gift shop has lots of souvenirs at decent prices, tour was kind of high at $14 but overall I had a good day.

I truly enjoyed the visit and tour. I would recommend this if you are in memphis. Tour guid was really happy to answer any questions.

Historic location with plenty to see and also an intimate experience without the crass commercialism of, say, Graceland

Absolutely must visit if you enjoy music or history.

If you love Elvis, and the millionaire quadrates, then you would love this place. They give a lot of informative information that you'd like to learn from this little studio which was untouch and preserved to showcase. A must go place when you go to Memphis, TN.

The best tour guide in the world. He truly loves his job and that shows in his performance. Keep up the great work, this is true history you share with us all!

A great experience and a dynamic and humorous guide

Disappointed. Not wheelchair accessible. Too small to comfortably move around. Staff was unhelpful. Would not refund our ticket when they realized they could not accommodate my husband and his wheelchair.

What a great tour! Geoff was AMAZING! He had my 3 kids'- 5,8,9- attention the whole time. The tour was fun and informative. We learned lots and had a blast.

Awesome place to visit in Memphis. Understanding the transformative impact that the recordings that happened here had on history, music, and culture will give you goose bumps. Music buff or not, this place is historic and a must see.

A step back in time. A true preservation of rock-n roll history.

The birthplace of rock and roll. The tour was very informative. If you angle your photo properly from the left in the final recording studio talk, you can have a sing-off with Elvis.

What a great experience! Visiting The Studio, where it all began! Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more, had their first recordings in this very studio. And when you take the Tour, you can really feel the Spirit! It was just fabulous!

Tour is quite short. Cool to experience but Motown was much better.

Very cool place. I am not much of a 50's and 60's history/music buff, but we enjoyed the tour and learning about it all. Elvis was just a small part of this place so it was nice to hear about everyone else that was a part of that history. It was worth stopping by.

Sun Studios - Stand in the same room as Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins etc, and get a tour of the studio, what more could you want as part of a musical tour in Memphis - another must visit :)

Fantastic tour! Rich with history and memorabilia. Our tour guide Graham did a great job. Very knowledgeable and even played the piano for us!

Great tour, Lahna was so entertaining. We all had fun.

Really cool place to visit, but lock your car doors and keep valuables out of sight. We lost a bunch of audio equipment because we didn't hide anything.

It was a wonderful beautiful experience to be right there where the King Elvis recorded his first hits .

Great stop for music lovers. Our tour guide was fun and did an awesome job. The place is not very big so only need couple hours here with the tour. It was pretty neat standing in the recording studio where greats like Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others sang.

If you love rock n roll it s history and the music making process, this is a must have. To stand in the same room where all that amazing music was made, and continues to be made is just incredible.

Learned more about rock n roll in an hour than I have my entire life. The story telling 8s top notch and draws you in. Relax, think rock n roll and go with the flow. Yeah, there are plenty people around but consider it a concert. Enjoy and have fun!

This is the birthplace of Rock and Roll. It's incredible to see where it all began. If those walls could talk! The tour guide was great and the memorabilia collection is amazing.

Best thing we did in Memphis. Cool people and cool vibe in that building.

Sam Phillips original microphone is there for photo opps. I asked if I could borrow a guitar. Mark, the tour guide, said I could use Johnny Cash's.

A very cool experience. The guided tour was fun and entertaining. Our guide was engaging and charismatic. If you're going to do the tour, be prepared to hang out in the studio's cafe entrance. It is small and can be tight if there are a lot of people, which there were when I went on a Sunday afternoon. Still worth it.
