Second time going through the tour and enjoyed it even more than the first. Great music history, and you get to see the very location were many amazing artists like Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins got there start. Oh, and Elvis if you like him. :)

I loved this place, the tour was really cool and you can actually touch the mic used! As always the earlier the better. I accidentally went during Elvis week and met a lot of men dressed like Elvis. Tell them they look like Elvis and they will act surprised, like they didn t spend hours trying to

We enjoyed the tour. The soda shop before the tour can become a bit crowded, but that is the only drawback. The tour guide was very polished and informative. Standing in the studio where Elvis recorded was exciting. You do not want to miss Sun Studio.

In Memphis? A visit here is your duty and responsiblity as an American! Or, if your a music fan - it's the "birthplace of Rock and Roll"! Lahna is a great tour guide, but be sure to tip who ever you get.

Legendary studio where you see hear taste touch smell and feel where real rock and roll was born. Required visit for anybody that is heard of Elvis, Johnny Cash, BB King Willie Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Ike Turner, and on and on and on and on...Tour guides are punny as well.

We visited Sun Studio last Friday, before going to Graceland. I cannot recommend this attraction highly enough. Sun Studio had fallen into disuse and was a laundromat, a surf shop and a few other things, before being re established as a Studio. They have done such a super job recreating the studio and the upstairs exhibits in such a small space. Moving downstairs to the studio, you really feel like you are walking back in time. Stand in the studio where Elvis, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash recorded. Sam Phillips left to the studio an original microphone used by these leg ends, on the proviso that people could touch it and enjoy the link with history.

Fantastic place to visit - even the reluctant teenager I dragged along admitted this tour was the highlight of our visit to Memphis.

Great guided tour

Great guided tour
Our tour guide Mark was so enthusiastic and knowledgable. Our group is made of music lovers but he brought it to life with recordings and stories. Would have liked to spend a bit more time looking at the 2nd floor exhibits on our own. To see the piano where Jerry Lee rocked and Larry Mullin Jrs drum kit, what more could you want.

Excellent tour and such a wonderful experience. Knowing I stood in the same spot as so many Rock N Roll legends is a remarkable experience. Our tour guide was excellent and I felt awesome when I was able to answer some of his trivia questions. Great time and a must see place when you travel to Memphis

The tour may not be very long however the enthusiastic tour guide made it spectacular. It's well worth going to for the history of the place and standing in the exact Studio we're so much history has been made. Going to Sun Studio was one of the highlights of our trip.

The absolute center of the rock and roll universe where the Big Bangs named Elvis, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee, Johnny Cash, BB King, Roy Orbison, Howlin' Wolf, Rufus Thomas exploded onto the scene. Priceless!
