Very helpful with questions I have about installing a whole house antenna.

Tired of paying for cable TV. Suess quoted us $350-$500 to install attic or roof antenna and connect with 2 TVs. When Max arrived and climbed up into the attic he told me that an old antenna that was up there already from previous homeowner has great reception and he'd only need to pull some newer wire to hook up the TVs. Max did a great job, installed and labeled the new wires and removed the old useless ones so our basement utility room ceiling is no longer a tangled mess of unidentifiable wiring. Cost us much less than expected. Great and consistent TV reception now and very pleased that Max, and Suess, didn't try to sell us a new antenna if the current model did the job. Professional integrity and excellent service!

I recently made a purchase from Suess and I could not be happier. The staff is knowledgeable about the equipment they sell. Not once did they even try to sell me something I didn't need which is something rare in today's world. Rick not only helped me pick out the right equipment but also did a great job of explaining the questions I had as I was not up to date on current technology. Suess sells equipment they believe in and not just junk you will replace in a year or two. If you do not know what you truly need for your home theater I would highly recommend stopping in so you do not end up buying something you dont need.

Easy in and out. Suess's focus in on high end and my interest is 70's equipment. Stopped because they are listed as a Thorens dealership and I was looking for a belt for my Thorens TD 160. A belt is not a complicated repair item but because one person was missing no one knew if they had one? They were gracious but come on whats complicated about this. Kind of crazy too Thorens uses the same belt for maybe all of their tables. I do like Suess's products and they are knowledgeable folks with new product sales.

Helpful staff. Purchased a Sony TV. Completely satisfied with the product and service. Good competitive price for a repairable television.

I just had the best experience purchasing a security system and install, Andrew was very knowledgeable about their systems, he explained everything very well, I left feeling like I made the right choice going to Suess, I would highly recommend them to anyone, great staff.

They make shopping for and buying a TV a pleasant experience. First, a salesperson will wait on you even if you are a white-haired female! And Rick has always given me the information I needed to make a correct decision for my needs-even if its not a massive sound system or TV that I am shopping for. And the installers were very sensitive to what I wanted/needed for my home-as well as connecting the different pieces of equipment and then patiently explaining any new operation procedures.

I need to add to this review after working with Ben to buy an updated IPhone in the Verizon sales/service area. He worked first with my son to decide the best plan for me and then again with me to switch to the new phone. He was exceedingly patient and willing to answer many questions on the phone when I got home and found I needed some more help. So again 5 stars.

I am adding another review because I moved and was considering another TV. And I realized, again, that I didn't really want to spend hours comparing prices and attributes of many brands of TVs when I could explain to Rick my currents needs and issues and he could match a TV to those needs. Tyler's installation also a prompt and positive experience.

The owner was extremely rude to us and very mad he didn't make a big sale to us. I bought a $9 item to improve the quality of my tv and he made us well aware he didn't know he was "running a tech support." I regret spending over $1,000 there prior this year. I was not impressed with the business owner and will never be going back.

Always a fun experience. The automated house is crazy fun to take a tour of. They have all sorts of old radios on display. And of course all things modern electronic entertainment.

This is the pre mirror elecktronics and sound store in the Fox River Valley. They handle high end elecktronics, speakers, And high end flat screen televisions. They offer installation and the staff are very knowledgeable about their product line. One can purchase speakers there from $25 to $10000 so there is a wide variety to choose from all beautifully displayed in private sound rooms. If you are looking for a theater they also sell theater furniture and projector's and have a design service to make your dream come true. I highly recommend Suess elecktronics. Adam has been especially helpful when I have been in the store and I asked for him by name.

They are the same as everywhere. They were just as bad as Best Buy at fixing faulty equipment. They are probably more expensive.

I try and support local, but we are all better off finding stuff online & using recommendations from the neighbor kid. Businesses what to make money. These purchases are generally once in a life time, so I don't think they worry about repeat business. Certainly your salesman won't be there next time.

Their really expensive speakers don't sound as good outside their sound room. That's why they have that room, so it sounds better than it should.

If stuff breaks they can fix it, but you'll eat the cost...& if it's a stereo, you have to take it all apart & bring it in. There's no advantage buying from these guys. They'll sell you as much as you will spend & convince you its necessary.

You can get just as good or better sound out of regular stereo compared w expensive stuff....just sayin'....

Owner gave me a great overview of my television choices. Didn't just try to sell most expensive. Asked what was important to me. Prices seem as Amazon and best buy, but much better service and better warranty. Mike the inside sales rep tries to help you and get it right.

I love going into this store to actually be able to get quality advice on electronics. Rick Volkman is who I tend to work with when I am in there. Having someone who isn't there to just ask basic questions and has actual in depth knowledge is a big help with electronics needs. Very easy to work with and provide great products as well. Relaxing environment to shop in as well.

Minutes after entering the store I walked over to a pair of stand mounted speakers and attempted to remove the grill cloth when my actions were abruptly stopped by the owner as he stated that Suess Electronics has a "Hands Off, Do Not Touch the Equipment" store policy for customers. Apparently this policy is in place to prevent customers from damaging inventory. Unfortunately for an owner in this business, occasional damage to floor models of speakers may be a reality which needs to be faced.
Suess has a beautiful, well laid out store with much to offer the audio and videophiles among us. In the future, I regret to say I will not be patronizing this place of business. If you decide to visit Suess Electronics of Appleton let me pass this along - your every move is being watched and keep your hands in your pockets.

Stopped in to ask a simple question about how to get my antenna to connect to my Samsung television (which I did not buy the TV from Suess). The antenna I did purchase form Suess! The gentleman who helped me out was very helpful and professional. he showed me all the steps to get the antenna to work. he also showed me a website that I could go and see what channels I should get based on where I live. I ended up walking around and chatting for a half an hour! I usually only talk to Adam or Rick as they are on the my list of people who I only talk to when I walk in the door. I have always had positive experiences when I walk in the door. They also host technology nights where people can come in and learn more about speakers/TVs/etc.

I have only bought a few small items from Suess. Every time I bought something they were able to help me answer any questions I had. Pricing is fair, you might be able to find something a little cheaper elsewhere but at Suess I find your paying for their fantastic customer service. Also if you have any issues or questions about a product you purchased years ago from them they will put in the effort to help you answer it or resolve the problem.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Store is clean, well organized with a wide selection. I will be a repeat customer.

Excellent customer service. I had a home entertainment system installed by Suess last November in addition to some outdoor speakers. Since then I did have a few issues with the product, which might of been self inflicted. I reached out to them to look for help and they responded like true professionals. I purchased a Sony 4K HDTV from a competitor (Suess never crossed my mind at the time) on Tuesday, with my data guy to hang the TV on Thursday. Unfortunately, my data guy had a death in the family Thursday morning. I spoke with Adam in the service dept. at Suess. He was professional and over the top with his time and efforts - thanks Adam! I appreciated his honesty and forthrightness. Genuine customer service!!

The technicians showed up on time mounted my 85" Sony and re purposed my old TV to another Room. They even showed me how to use it all thanks Tyler and Jake.

A great visit...love shopping "local" ...'big box stores' have not held up to their hype...lower prices.. great service...not so much !!

This place has awesome high end equipment. Employees are very knowledge and will gladly show you around.

They have a great show room with just about every type of system set up for listening. The employees are very professional and know their stuff. I am only a teenager and I was treated just as well as any adult looking to purchase a 15,000 dollar system which impressed me. I was simply looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers, they showed me a pair of excellent sounding, reasonably priced pre-owned paradigms. They want to sell you whats best for you, not try to con you into buying more than what you need. They also appreciate quality sound equipment. If you are looking for a purchasing experience, and someone who knows more than the blokes in blue shirts (you know who I'm talking about) then Suess if for you. You will not regret buying your next electronic here.

Tim and the team helped to make sure we were happy with our home theater. There were some rocky spots along the way as there are with any large scale project, but our theater looka and sounds great.
Make sure you take the time to listen and do research into products to make sure they are going to work for your situation. In today's world, things are pretty complicated and not everything plays well with everything else.
In the end doing business with a place like Suess is about knowing they want you to be happy and we are!

They have an article online about getting Fox 11 through an antenna. After recently cutting out cable I tried so many things to get this channel and a couple others. Finally came to them for some help. They walked me through what I was doing and why I was having trouble then set me up with an antenna that worked. Now every TV In the house gets all channels in better quality than I had before. I have and will be telling everyone to come to Suess for help. After all this help they even showed us around to all the amazing equipment they sell. Such a nice store with exceptional staff. Thank you!!!!!

Have been shopping at Suess Electronics for over 30 years. I really like how they take care of you and still provide a great value. Also not afraid to say that I don't understand the new technology, they ask what I am looking for and explain my options and cost. Try them out!
