Studio6 Los Angeles Review

Everything was fine, the only thing that I didn t like were how sticky and dirty the floors were when we checked in. They remained sticky and dirty for the week that we were there. It seems like the maids only came in to make our beds.

Room was good, a little dusty. Customer service at front desk was terrible. Parking, terrible and no handicap spots available.

I had a bad experience, Alado's room was too noisy, I called the administration and they called but after a while the adults continued arguing and there were children crying in the middle of the discussion. Unpleasant

Bug infested! Unfortunately our stay was not very clean. The gentlemen at the front desk was very helpful when we arrived at first and our stay started out good but within the next day we started seeing cockroaches roaming around our room and even more in the kitchen. We immediately went to the front desk to get a refund or to be moved to a clean room but the front desk was not able to help as the manager was not in. He did, although, provide us with a Raid bug spray that was nearly empty. They obviously know about their problem. We had our 2 small children with us and I was very angry having to spray our room with this chemical. Unfortunately it was late in the day and our children (and ourselves) were very tired to go hotel hunting. We only got a refund of the remaining days of our reservations the following day. Will not return and I do not recommend this place, especially if you have children.

The fire alarm chirped because battery had not been changed. Security guard poorly managed parking, allowed anyone to park in handicap parking. Rooms was not COVID-19 sanitized and front desk person was not customer service friendly.

The room that resibi was very linpio .. the only thing that did not stop me was that there no connection aulets. To connect a DVD.

We stayed at the Commerce, CA location. The room was nice but the wood floors needed to be mopped and the stove did not work. However, I liked the room decor and style. I did not like the fact that I had to pay for the extra role out bed but the parking was free, gas station and freeway entrance/exit right next to it, elevator, baggage role rack, and there was a security guard so I guess that offsets the excessive extra bed fee. Overall I would stay again if there was one in a safer neighborhood close to USC!

The room was very comfortable. There wasn't a coffe pot or tea and no conditioner was provided. However, the room was extremely clean. The fridge was a full size and the shower was amazing. The only drawback was the noise from the street. Was quite please with the stay.

They are family orientated even during remodeling still try to help
families by renting out space.

The hotel was nice inside but the outside was very scary, old run down building with Graffiti on the stairs. front desk clerk was rude and not very friendly.

Nice clean rooms with kitchenette. Still undergoing renovations so it was very noisy plus the sounds of highway traffic. Spacious rooms and coin laundry available. Nice overall

Although our stay was due to a funeral, our overall experience was a good one. The rooms were big and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I enjoyed all the amenities. I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay or for an extended stay. Our room came with a stove, refridgerator, microwave, coffee maker, and dishes. The rooms had a very pleasant smell unlike other hotels with carpets that smell musty and or cigarette smoke. The location was near a gas station, great for snacks. A Denny's near by, and I really liked that the entire area and parking lot had plenty of light and not dark like some hotels. They had one elevator in the lobby but it was always available. I requested a floor room because my mother was disabled but there were none available so I was skeptical but having elevator access and our rooms near them accommodated us. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to my family for future stays.

I will return clean and everybody Minds their business....

Worse place I've ever been too dont ever go there ugh

The exterior of this hotel was just ok which made me believe this hotel would be mediocre but I was WRONG! The staff at the front desk was VERY polite and check-in was super fast. The room seemed like it would be small but I was wrong!!! The kitchen was a plus also! The shower was elegant and the spacious sink provided enough mirror for me to get ready for the hearing I had the following morning. Ultimately, the hotel room was comfy and super clean!!

I have to say the place is clean comfortable and very good staff. If
you have to stay for more than a month don't use this place. You have to find another place after 28 days for one night then you can check back in the next day. This is very hard when you are working everyday . Then you find out there is no vacany when you want to check back in. THIS IS NOT EXTENDED. STAY

The service was more or less but better than other places. Good price . Inside it was clean but the beds a bit hard. I recommend it for 1 night.

Total incompetence. It's like pulling teeth getting these people to take payment, then they accuse me of fraud because they misread something, but let it go after "looking at all the things." Yeah, next time, look at all the things FIRST. They insist they haven't received messages they haven't checked, or at one point, a fax that I saw in the tray an hour after it had been sent. Best of all, they won't accept payment over the phone.

I stay at studio six was great! The rooms we're very clean. The staff were very friendly. The rooms had kitchenettes that gave the stay a home away from home feeling.

It was a great last minute spontaneous decision to go to citadel outlet and room at nearby studio 6 hotel

The room didn t feel cleaned at all my key only worked half the time and the Wi-Fi that I paid for kept cutting in and out. But the front desk was really nice and easy to work with.

We like the manager/owner as he is very good to us.

My experience in this hotel is always a great one. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are always spotless. Great place to stay!

Was ok with stay. However very disappointed that first; the manager didn't speak English. I am surprised speaking English is not a requirement of management.

Second; I tried to apply your Military discount offer on your website but couldn't make it work. I called your reservation number; that man who handled the call couldn't make it work either. He told me to just present my ID at check in to get the 10% discount offer. I did present it at both check in; and check out and your manager shook his head and finger in a "no" signal and didn't apply it.

Doesn't bother me when Companies do not offer military discounts. That's a business decision. Bothers me when they do offer Military discounts and then proudly refuse to honor it. Strange business decision.

Can't recommend a Studio 6 facility where Military and English speaking people are not welcome.

Great customer service, easy to talk to, we recently stayed and my girl left her ring and with out a problem they took care of it and sent it right back to me, appreciate there hard work, Very clean hotel ! Will stay again

I have used airbnb and other hotels in hollywood. This place was great in comparison gor the price. At half the price of an airbnb rental i slept in a place without roaches. I am referring to airbnb as this place is clean. Just trying to deter guests so they consider this place. Free parking secured lot and small kitchen with no carpets. Stay here!

I ARRIVED (12:45P) ALITTLE EARLIER THAN CHECK IN TIME, AND SINCE MY RESERVATIONS WAS FOR KING and NOT 2 beds I could not check-in until after 2pm. The room was nice, bedding could have been better quality , but the pillows were comfortable

Worst place ever!! Dirty, leaking ceiling, holes in the restroom walls!! Everything is so dirty and old... I Took pictures of the room and asked the front desk clerk to please change our room. He didn't want to. I just couldn't stay there... The clerk did not want refund our money .. But I did not leave without it.. What a ripoff!! Those pictures on their website are lies*****
Go accross the street Ramada Inn or Super 8.

Not as good as last visit.. Tiny closet, broken TV remote....still no plug in the kitchen area to plug in the coffee maker.. Car right across from the office with a freshly busted windows..stair treads in bod repair, with no lighting until later

This hotel exceeded my expectations I love the kitchenette and a large size refrigerator it was very convenient nice and clean and smelled beautiful. I stay at many different places each weekend and this by far was the best !! Would definitely come back !

What a great experience at this property. The management and staff are incredibly helpful and very nice. The rooms are comfortable and the property is very clean and well maintained. we have to stay there for a few more weeks due to work being done on our home. My family and I really feel comfortable there. Also, it is very close to both my husbands job and mine. Great job and keep up the good work!

Very nice rooms with a convenient kitchen. Besides the security guard and the night attendant asking my girlfriend out on a date. The place would have received a 5 star. One last comment that I observed. Depending on the attendant in charge was the price I paid. One charged a certain amount which was different than the other.

Better than I thought it was going to be. A few reviews I read were not to good, so I was apprehensive in booking. But I was pleasantly surprised on how noice and clean the room was. The staff was constantly cleaning the walkways and steps. I would stay there again in the future.

This hotel may be inexpensive however they do not take other tenets into perspective. I stayed at this hotel this month and have had nothing but bad experience. For starters the people above us was so loud that he/she would walk very heavily and would make so much noise the we either could not sleep or would be woken up by them being extremely loud. We made three complaints about it but we feel nothing was done because they still continue to be loud. This went on from the first night to the last. We stayed nine days. I thought that after so many compliants you would get kicked out. To top this all off people would run up and down the stairs all hours of the night. Parents would let their kids run around all night screaming. The second thing that we noticed is when we put the maid sign out they wouldn t fully service the room. They would half ass everything. There was one day they didn t do anything just put fresh towels in our room.
The third thing was my family and I went out on Saturday and came back to the hotel early cause everyone was tired and my wife and I walked in the lobby and it reeked of marijuana. I don t care if people do marijuana but at your place of business? Come on! There is a time and place for that.
The guy that I talked to at one time was so stoned that it was very evident that he had smoked because he couldn t even concentrate. I know what high people look like because I used to do it myself.
Overall this experience was nothing like the other studio 6 s I ve stayed in. This one is way worse. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

My go to spot being smashing here since 2015 actually b4 that but its studio 6 now so yeah.

I had a good stay there it was great but i kind of didn't like getting woken up by housekeeping to get out!!!

This place is great for people who drink, not for family,s was to much noise at all times, I had to move to other hotel, the manager was great to help us getting my money back to my credit card , thank you!!

There are just two things good about it: new bed and good new furniture.
Poor room cleanness, filfy air conditioner, bad atendimento, location is alright, but a bit noisy and badly attended at night. Internet is ok and has a good parking lot. Wouldn t go back at all., There are other better options with similar prices.

Only positive point of the hotel is the room is new and the bed is good!
I had a reservation and I arrived 1 hr late due to the flight and the attendant made a drama saying he had canceled my reservation, but then made the room available.
Upon reaching the room, the bathroom was poorly cleaned, with lots of hair around it. The kitchen is only equipped with 1 utensil each, type: 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 plate ....
Room service, if you want, washed the dishes (which I couldn't wash because I didn't have a sponge and detergent), they didn't even clean the table, the floor, anything, they just fixed the sheet.
Dirty reception, dirty elevator, stairs stink and attendants are terrible, hardly speak English.
The air conditioner smells like a dirty filter.
Hotel is very close to an expressway, which generates a little noise and at night it is not frequented.
Internet ok and parking great, always had vacancy.
I would not be staying again.

Nice rooms, can be a bit noisy and location in a scarce area for retail activity (shopping, dining, entertainment)

Cockroach in the drawer, construction on 2 floors, didn't get a room key for 2 hours, key machine broken. Decent price, no toaster as advertised and ironing board broken, took 20 minutes to get a tv remote. GRAT ROOMY SHOWER !!!!! GREAT water pressure shower, minimal water pressure sink.

Everyroom is filthy. Roaches, stained carpets, shower water smells stagnant. The tv buttons were missing. Holes in the wall. The lamps was missing the shade covers. Just a horrible experience.

The hotel was under construction and the drilling and hammering started at 6:30 in the morning. There was no mention of this on the website when I made the reservation. The room would have been nice but some of the new things were done pretty shotty. The piping in the bathroom was not covered by the wall and I saw a single cockroach in the bathroom. There was a burn hole in the sheets and the counters did not look like they had been wiped down. Some of the paint was splattered on the floor. The beds were comfortable but it was a construction zone there. My key had to be reprogrammed on the second night because when we got back that evening it would not work. I probably won't t stay there again

Very clean rooms, everything worked inside room. Staff was very friendly and not over bearing. I highly recommend this location to anyone who likes privacy.

It was good place for what we needed (sleep and bath), the coffee machine had old coffee that was growing mold. But we never use thos stuff anyways. Had a mini kitchen with microwave and a working fridge and freezer. I will totally stay again on my next visit

After being checked in and on our way back into the motel with our stuff the front desk person [older male] tried to inform us that we did not qualify for the military discount he had just applied to our stay and that I had reserved the room under. He argued with me about the company's policy to extend the discount to veterans and claimed he had spoken to corporate before about this and we didn't qualify. He claimed the discount was for active persons only and told me I had lied to get a better deal. It was at this point I asked him why he didn't follow the same company policy when the motel 6 I had stayed at the night before did. To which he informed me he didn't have to due to not being a regular motel 6. I then pulled out my phone and showed him the motel 6 home page for military discount reservations, clearly showing that we qualified as a veteran for the discount. He looked at it grumbled to himself and said fine whatever you can stay. This experience was humiliating we had come all the way down from Oregon and the veteran was already experiencing some anxiety already. This man's actions exacerbated his PTSD and created a feeling of negativity that underscored the entire trip. I would hope this man would receive better training on proper policy application and to take an interpersonal communications course. Also to note the housekeeping service does not respect the wishes of the patrons, for the entire trip they entered our room to clean even after asking them not to and placing the sign on the door, by day 3 our door sign was missing. This issue only made the veterans issues worse but the staff seemed to not care.

The room was very clean, very nice. I was very happy with the small kitchen and for the price we paid for the room on a Saturday night. It was a bit noisy due to street noise and I smelled cigarette smoke throughout the night so not sure where that came from. The only thing that I didn't like was that check-out was at 11am (which was fine), but at 10:10 I got a call from the front desk asking if I was checking out. I said that I was and would be out by 11am. The maid then came banging on my door at 10:40 to tell me about check-out. I already knew that. I did not appreciate feeling like I was being rushed out. I left my room at 10:50 but still didn't like being rushed.

I have been here before. Compared to my first stay my room was not as nice and clean as the first time. Love that the rooms have mini kitchens and all. This particular visit the kitchen was empty of all dishes, cups and utensils. Pots where there but that was about it. Sheets where not clean. Saw some stains which was pretty gross. Im not sure if some rooms are clraner and more equiped than others but for the price i expect a clean area especially because i have 2 small children.

It was what we needed, the truth is if I am a bit away from Disney that was the reason for our trip, I did not trust the cleanliness of the room and as I was traveling with my family I decided to clean the areas where I did not. and the kitchen and there was trash on the floor under the bathroom sink, if I recommend it because they have what it takes but cleaning did not generate confidence

Great rooms better than others I have gone to before. Fast Wi-Fi and also has a kitchen.

On a scale of 1-10 a zero one of the worst place I've ever stayed as soon as I walked in I was hit with the most pungent smell like meldue the carpet was wet the ceiling was peeling the wall had a lot of holes there were broken furniture the TV that was from another decade was not working the AC was also dated. The face basin faucet was barely working and the tub was not draining. I will never ever ever go to this place again very disgusting. Also I was awakened at 6am with heavy construction right over ma head where is the health department on this one

Charge me extra the share of one bedroom with my own wife never going there again

The rooms were clean... Parking is limited. They charge a 10 per night pet fee which is a first for me at this chain. The guy at the front desk was slow and not very friendly. The worst part was the construction that started at 7 to 715 in the morning... Skillsaws, a shop vac, men yelling... Hammering and 2 concrete trucks just feet from a room I paid a hundred bucks for. Clearly management has no regard for their guests. Get the money and let us deal with it in the morning. To top it off there is one entrance/exit to this place and it was blocked off by the cement truck when I had to leave for work. I would stay elsewhere unless you do not mind the construction noise in the morning or the owners that are clearly more interested in getting money from customers than providing a comfortable place to stay. I'll pay extra and stay elsewhere.
