Was there for a wedding. We had the reception in the woodsgate. It was absolutely freezing to the point where people were leaving to go stand outside in the heat, and see people to stand on the other side of the AC where the hot exhaust could thaw them. Multiple people asked multiple times to adjust the AC, but no change was made. We couldn't take the cold so we left.
We attended a wedding this weekend! The accomodations were very nice! Rustic and country like! The service was awesome! Everyone had a mask and you could tell they were smiling underneath! The food was delicious, and the view of the Pocono mountains was breathtaking! I had never been there and would happily attend another wedding if the opportunity arises!
Attended a wedding here - wonderful place for such a special day! The area is extremely pretty and the buildings have a lot of character to them. The waiting staff was very friendly!

Just perfect. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing Stroudsmoor for our wedding. Amy is nothing short of phenomenal, as are the floral team, the food, and our maitre d Ryan. I had originally wanted one of those low-maintenance backyard boho weddings, but there is nothing more low-maintenance than having a team of professionals pull the whole thing off effortlessly!! Our wedding day was everything we could have ever wanted and more, and from the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful that we found this place and for the level of attention and care that was given to our special day.

We held an event in the Pavilion with approximately 25 guests (though it could have fit many more) where we had amazing staff and a great bartender. Everyone working had masks on and we felt super safe while getting our food and drink. The Pavilion itself has a really nice rustic lodge feel, which fits well with it being tucked in the mountains. But the real stand out for me was the food. My personal favorite were the baked clams, but the muscles and meat board were close runners up. And don't even get me started about the peanut butter tort - we brought home 4 slices after and they didn't even make it 24 hours. I really can't say enough nice things about the location or the people - I highly recommend!

We were there on a Friday night for the seafood buffet. The food was delicious. Get there a little earlier than your reservation to have a drink at the bar. They have a roaring fire and a cheese and cracker spread layed out.
We enjoyed the Saturday evening Grand Buffet in celebration of a 50th birthday. The food was excellent, and the decor was pleasantly rustic. The scenery was breathtaking. It's a great place for a wedding and reception.
Decent stay, rooms could use some updating, door for stuck wand wouldn't open all the way. I can't say food was better than ok. The grounds were very nice and the staff were super nice.
I have been here a couple of times and definitly will be back again. Nice cottages and cabins with nice dining places. The best part is that breakfast is included to your order.
We love our stay so much. The employees are super friendly and helpful. We have a 2 year old boy, and we don t want to bother others cause my son loves to jump all round the room. The lady at the front desk gave us a very quite and isolate room that s super neat. We were surprised by the breathtaking views in the property. It would be prefect if you have a dream wedding in here. The trails are beautiful. We also went to the brunch buffet, the staffs were super nice and the food was great. We will definitely come back.
What a great place in the Poconos for dinner. the food is fresh from shrimp to roast beef. All you can eat on Friday.
The food and service was exceptional. The quality of the food far surpassed what I expected. This is a must stop for Sunday Brunch.

Was here for my sisters wedding & reception and it was a totally great experience! Location was gorgeous, facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was great and last but certainly not least, the food was delicious!

Attended a wedding. Beautiful venue and had an amazing time. The seafood dinner buffet was great, the breakfast buffet was mildly disappointing--the eggs seemed to have a lot of moisture. But the beef/chicken option for the wedding dinner was delicious! I do recommend staying here or having a wedding here, it is beautiful!
Attended a wedding here. The service was outside and while the service and attention to detail was wonderful, the outdoor heating units were insufficient even for a small crowd. The food and service was stellar, the grounds are beautiful. I hope I get to return soon.

Beautiful surrounding but overpriced. Staff at front desk was nice and we had great waiters and waitresses at the wedding.
The lady that was the wedding planner was not too friendly and didn't encourage ideas presented. The room was 240 per night and was nothing amazing. They are definitely taking advantage of wedding couples and their guests.
Oh and if a guest can't make it, they charge the bride and groom for it. Yikes.
I've been here over the years and the spa treatments are always enjoyable.
I was just disappointed that the treatment was slightly different this time around due to Covid, yet the price was the same. None of this was disclosed.
Usually you change into a robe and you sit and enjoy some water while you soak your feet. After relaxing for a while, then you go for your massage. None of this was done. No facials either.
That's my only negative feedback.

My husband and I stayed in a cabin for one night after attending a wedding here.
We really liked the wedding venue itself, the food, and the grounds.
We didn't like the room, it was dark and sad and needed updating. The shower leaked on the floor and the walls were paper thin.
Three stars for the wedding, minus two for the room. Glad it was only for one night.

We have been coming to the Stroudsmoor Country Inn since the mid 90's for midweek lunch, the Friday, Saturday or Sunday buffets as well as for holiday dinners with family. Up to October 2003 we'd drive from Long Island to family in western New Jersey then come there for holiday dinner at Easter or Christmas Eve. Since our move to the Lehigh Valley we've been there very many times and even spent an overnight with friends celebrating their wedding anniversary. Needless to say we very much enjoy the food at the restaurant and the overall beauty of the entire complex.
This is a beautiful place to have a wedding and budget friendly. The outdoor wedding is able to accommodate 60 people. The receptionist and outside pavilion is beautifully set up.

We attending a wedding and absolutely enjoyed the scenery. The reception was in a great venue and the food was perfect. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the room. The mattress was uncomfortable and had what felt like a plastic layer underneath which caused us to sweat at night. The room and furniture need to be updated.
I had an absolutely amazing wedding experience at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn. My in laws have been coming to the Stroudsmoor for years around the holidays to celebrate the holidays. From the moment we signed on at the Stroudsmoor, the Stroudsmoor team was unbelievable. Everything was extremely organized and they helped a tremendous amount in keeping us exactly where we needed to be. The day of service was impeccable I still have family and friends ranting about the service, the views, the warm hospitality, and everything overall. I could not have done it without Barbara, Susan, and the rest of the Stroudsmoor team that helped in making out event truly what it was. It was one of the best days of our lives and I cannot thank them enough.

This was the third firemens's banquet we have attended here. The food was great. Non stop d'oeuvres, from pigs in a blanket to lamb chops & many other flavors in between. The atmosphere & views are unbelievable, bring a camera. The staff was extremely attentive, anything you needed they made sure you received.

Beautiful wedding venue and fun little spot for a weekend trip. Came up here to celebrate my friends' wedding, but this secluded inn is a gorgeous little spot tucked away in the woods. It has the feel of a log cabin camp ground, if that makes sense. There is a pool, a nice wedding pavilion, and a few reception halls.
I was there for a wedding but friends also stayed over night. It was lovely all around.
We had the Friday night seafood buffet. It has always been fantastic through the years. The appetizers are delicious and include an excellent smoked salmon. Several main courses include prime rib, seafood inspired dishes along with other meats. For dessert I opted for their cheesecake which was also excellent. Service was great. Only negative is that it is on the pricier side but you do get a good share of seafood.
If you are searching for the perfect location for an outdoor wedding, I highly recommend taking the Stroudsmoor into consideration. The views of the mountains are incredible. The rustic decor is beautiful. My husband and I got married here last fall at the Woodsgate Chapel. The staff was extremely accommodating. Ashley was GREAT - very pleasant, helpful, and organized. She made sure everything ran smoothly, and that we got the wedding of our dreams. The food was DELICIOUS! My husband and I requested an all vegan menu, which turned out to be a success, even among some of our non-vegan guests. For a wedding, it was much more affordable than some other locations we considered, and the staff helped us to stay within our budget.

We had our wedding here (Lawnhaven) in July and it was the most magical day of our life. Despite the pandemic & the hurricane it was a success! It was a positive experience from beginning to end. Thanks to Corinne who took the journey with us and made it all perfect, she is our angel! The property, the atmosphere, the staff and the food were beyond amazing. Our guests have not stopped talking about the food, staff & the beauty of the venue. Everyone felt special that day. We will be forever grateful.
