This place is at top of mountain. Quite place. U will prefer to stay on vacation without disturbance.

Outstanding first class service on beautiful well kept grounds.

The staff was absolutely amazing the entire stay there. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there was so many options. My sisters wedding was perfect and the Stroudsmoor Country Inn made sure to do everything possible to make sure it was. Highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of anything from a weekend get away to a full blown wedding.

We went for dinner! It was delicious, I had the special, prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. The service was decent, and the atmosphere was quite and relaxing. We had a lovely time!

So pretty! Rooms are old fashioned but super cute! Customer service is great and they had a very nice breakfast. Enjoyed my stay here

This place was fantastic! My wife and I had our wedding here and the accommodations were amazing. Ridgecrest is an amazing venue and the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is planning a large event, or just wants to grab a few drinks.

The place is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are old, and I mean that in a good way, but very clean the only downsides are bad service at lunch, and the place is not well marked. It was difficult to find which building has our room!

Wonderful hotel. Gorgeous grounds with an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The rooms and beautiful and rustic with great balcony views. Breakfast is also included and it was EVERYTHING!

The Stroudsmoor Inn is the top place to get married in the Poconos and I couldn't agree more! I enjoyed officiating a wedding there this year and look forward to officiating so many more next year. I live not very far at all and the wedding planners are amazing. I really enjoyed working with Ashley and my bride and groom had all their wedding dreams come true. Very loving and accommodating staff.

Excellent venue for large weddings, great ridge-top views of rural valley pastures, attentive staff throughout the evening. Everyone enjoyed the wedding ceremony and large reception pavilion with dance floor, great food and views.

The young lady who cleans the pool area is awesome it seems like everything is cleaner at the pool because of her. Stroud more is the nicest hotel in the Poconos the People Are Awesome the food is awesome these are great Americans

My son and daughter-in-law were married on June 2nd of this year. Other than the fact, that mother nature cooperated (it was absolutely a perfect day), it was the best wedding I have ever been to!
The staff was professional and attentive. They were friendly and kind. I felt like I was around family the entire day.
Everything was done as planned-the decorations, the flowers, the food, the cake and the spa was amazing! They even incorporated our ethnic foods into the menu.
The rooms were beautiful and the service was great.
We were there for several days and the food was excellent and there was a nice selection of food for breakfast.
The check in staff were also patient and attentive.
All our guests had a fabulous time and only had wonderful things to say about the resort.
I would definitely recommend The Stroudmoor Country Inn to anyone who wants a beautiful venue for their wedding. Especially if you live far away as my son did (Missouri) and need a one stop/shop resort.

I was at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn for a wedding. It was very beautiful and elegant and the staff was very on top of keeping up with everything.

No COVID enforcement. Beautiful venue, with clear rules for COVID safety....but no-one is enforcing. I left a wedding early because all of the seats were packed together and none of the guests were wearing masks.

As a wedding venue it gets a 5, and as a hotel a 3.

The place is beautiful. The wedding was absolutely amazing, partially to the experience. The staff was very professional, and attentive with their service. The wedding food was delicious! Overall, it seemed like the wedding ran super smoothly!

The hotel room was just ok. Its very old, and outdated. I believe that's what they are going for however it really isn't my style. It was a little tough getting ready for a wedding in such a small bathroom. Our room was the first room up the stairs (near the lobby), and we never once heard any outside noise.

There is a bar in the hotel which is nice. We ordered burgers there one afternoon. It took a VERY long time to get the food, and when we got the food the order was wrong. We just ate it anyway, and despite that...it was very good. Their buffet breakfast was also very good. It had a wide variety of options to choose from.

Overall, I would only stay here if it was for a wedding at the same venue. Although quaint, its a little outdated for me.

I love stroudsmoor my parents got married here and it was amazing and now we go every year for the Christmas show and it s always a good time.

Great staff and food. Rooms could use an update. Thin walls let let you hear everything outside of the halls. Bed was not very comfortable.

The food is too good, I almost couldn't finish my food, also the best dessert ever!!

Dined at this resturant with my boyfriend, super Great. From the food to the service I would hightly recommend wednesday prime rib night.

My husband and I were recently married on June 28th at Ridgecrest. We had an absolutely magical night and from start to finish, the staff far exceeded our already high expectations. Cathleen was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing from the moment we booked until the waning moments of our wedding night. She was extremely responsive to any emails we had addressing any concerns and she accommodated all of our needs. From start to finish our day went on without a hitch. We truly felt like everyone genuinely cared deeply about making the perfect night possible.

We also used the Stroudsmoor Bridal Spa for our hair and makeup. Olivia and the staff did an amazing job with everyone's hair and makeup and everyone was in the chair and out exactly when they said we would. My bridesmaids all brought pictures of hair styles that they wanted and each and every one of them came out perfectly. Everyone looked gorgeous and I appreciated that Olivia was able to use my natural curls. From my experience, most hair stylists prefer to blowout curls because it is easier to manage.

In addition to using the Stroudsmoor Bridal Spa, we used the Stroudsmoor florist and they worked very well within our budget. The bouquets were stunning and the centerpieces were perfect!

Even the staff and waiters at the reception were very attentive to our needs. We booked most of the services the Stroudsmoor has to offer and we were so happy that we did. We got to many raving reviews from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. It truly is a magical place to have a wedding and everyone at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn makes the wedding planning process so simple.

Stayed in a villa. Beautiful grounds. Great ambiance. Highly recommend it!

Alright, this place is 5 star in a bunch of ways but misses on a few really simple things that are probably easy to have low on the totem pole.

These people are crazy good at what they do. Polite, well dressed, quick, helpful.

The place really is quite lovely and they've clearly worked hard to make it a fantastic venue for weddings and celebrating events.

My room: 5 star
Very comfy, great bed, we had a handicap accessible room and it was basically a small apartment. Jacuzzi bathtub was a great perk.

Fitness center: 4 star
On one hand, the exercise room was chilled. Huge props for this: keep the ac on for me! That was awesome!

On the flipside, the equipment needs updated. The treadmill I used sounded like it was falling apart. Several of the weights were rusty. The scale was broken. There were no towels in there.

WiFi: 3 star
This kills me because when we had WiFi the connectivity was stellar. Great speeds. But we only had it about half the time. That sucked.

All in all, 4 star. Just a few basic things to keep it from being super stellar.

Just attended a wedding here. Gorgeous views, great food and service. We were up at Ridgecrest. Great place for a wedding, just, wow! I did not stay here overnight, though, as I have a friend nearby instead.

No wifi.... Reminiscent of an old house, didn't like

My wife and were married at the Stroudsmore 7 years ago and go back every year for our anniversary. The food is always excellent as well as the service. The creamy Dijon salmon this year was fantastic.

Brunch was good but 17 people at a table made for 12 is not ok.

We attended a banquet where my daughter was receiving a STEM award from the Chemistry department at ESU. The food from the buffet was great.

They keep my wine glass full at the wedding reception. I love them so much.

Service was good but the food was lacking. However I have been there during the holiday and they have much better food prepared for the holiday, so I can understand that during off season it's not as good.

There is nothing I can think of negatively about this place, my experience as well as my girlfriend was great. From the food , to the service, grounds, room etc was 100% satisfactory.

Don't stay here if you want a restful night of sleep. This hotel hosts wedding parties, and not only did they see fit to book us next to a room full of wedding guests who partied until about 4AM right next to our room, but they were unable or unwilling to seriously enforce a noise curfew, sending a staff member to try to quiet it down twice to little effect. It is incredibly unprofessional of them to place wedding guests next to non-wedding guests, especially considering many of their rooms are really shared cabin structures with shared decks. I regret ever booking a weekend getaway here and wish very much I could go back in time and warn myself to stay away from this disaster of a hotel.

It's a beautiful place and an awesome location to have a wedding. The room accommodations weren't up to par. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. Definitely come for the views of the mountains.

We stopped By The Lounge Last Evening For Drinks And A Casual Dinner. The Picture On The Pizza Shows A Beautiful Artisan Hand Made Pizza. When Our Dinner Came, It Was Very Obvious By Both Looks And Taste That It Was Nothing But A Store Bought Frozen Pizza. When We Mentioned This To Our Waitress She Told Us That "It May Be A Pre Made Crust, But They Add To It". We Were Given A Free Desert By The Manager. The Quality Of The Food, Years Ago, Was Excellent. Now The Whole Experience Leaves A Lot To Be Desired. There Are Many Other Good Choices In The Area, Don't Waste Your Money Here.

I am a frequent diner to the inn. Today I took my employees for lunch after completing a job and ordered the chicken saltimbocca special with risotto. A few words to describe it is phenomenal, delicious, incredible a party in your mouth with every bite. The chef is amazing. The inn has it all charming atmosphere, polite attentive service, delicious menu, and most important affordable. If you haven't been to the inn you are missing out on one of the most special dining experiences. I recommend you try it immediately you will not be disappointed. It's my go to place when I want a delicious meal. I give the inn 10 stars.

Great place. Super low key and rustic. Some of the bathroom fixtures were a bit dated but slightly to be expected. Overall good bang for the buck

Tomorrow with be our one year wedding anniversary, and people still rave about our wedding! Linda, Victoria and the entire stroudsmoor staff did such an amazing job preparing and working with us from the two years out when we started planning, to the day of. The Ridgecrest venue was a dream and the the food was incredible. They also worked with numerous food allergies and were with us through all the ups and downs of planning and preparations. Both my husband and I as well as our guests can't say enough good things. Thank you for everything, Linda. Not a thing went wrong thanks to you and your staff's hard work. We have so many memories for years to come thanks to Stroudsmoor.

Awesome place to escape for a weekend and relax. Restaurant on premises has great food and great deals. Alot to do! Close to Bushkil falls excellent place to visit. Compton's great for breakfast. A bakery close down the Inn too!

Stroudsmoor is exceptional! The food is outstanding from the salad bar, soups, seafood table, begals and lox, caviar, the carving table, and many other selections... and I can't forgrt the desserts, it was an amazing experience! The Eggs Benedict was the best I ever had. The service was excellent and the ambience was exceptional!

Had a great time, loved the food, it was a great place to celebrate a family birthday.

My first visit to Stroudsmoor a few years ago was magical -- breathtaking views, wildlife scampering everywhere, and unparalleled peace and tranquility. No more! The new pavilion detracts from the openness and natural beauty, and inexplicably they placed a dead bear in the center, and a deer head on the wall (as "decoration," I was told!). This country inn now looks and feels to me more like a hunting lodge. The choice is yours, of course. As for me, I will not be back.

I have been here for multiple weddings and each time the staff was really friendly and accommodating. Really composed bar staff in the face of 100+ people keeping a good pace with drink production. The outside is great with a really good view and a lot of space. Definitely 5/5
