Customer service is terrible, watch out! The skiing industry is very competitive, and when nature decides not to produce any snow for the winter it really hurts the resorts. Man-made snow is not the same, and any rider knows that. With that said, I spoke to a very nice manager, Patty, about transferring my "trio lift ticket package" that will expire at the end of the 2016 season. As mentioned above, there hasn't been any natural snow. According to the website there has been 48" of natural snow this season. Well in the 15 weeks of winter (Dec 1st- March 15th) thats only an average of 3" a week. Thats TERRIBLE. The average base was only 24" and anything under 12" is potentially very dangerous - rocks, sticks, debris starts showing through the snow at that point. Rain and high temperatures make it impossible to keep up. The mountain was never 100% open either which proved my point that I didn't want to risk my family skiing under those limited conditions. Patty, the manager, said there are no refunds on package deals and they are non transferrable. I even offered to pay the extra $100 that was discounted through the offer and she still wouldn't reason with me. Its a damn shame they chose to lose a repeat customer for the last 10 years over $200. I love to ski and ride, but this just wasn't a season for it if you live on the east coast. When Buying the ticket in November, you always hope for the best but this year was certainly one of the worst. Customer service gets thrown right out the window when that happens. Mount Snow and Killington are looking better than ever. I'll take my annual ski balance of $1500 somewhere else.

Awesome snowboarding instructors. We had a lesson with Dairel (Irish guy, not sure of spelling) and he got us (complete novices) doing turns in our very first lesson. Then Pat really pushed us and took us to a long green slope. Both instructors were really encouraging, explaining well, and of course, picking us up all the time. Slopes are well done, but greens do differ - there are hard greens (sloped towards the polls for example) and simple wide gently sloped. Try it and find what suites you. Everyone we encountered from the staff were super nice, from lift attendants to rental guys. Totally recommend, will def be back!

This mountain is great for skiing. It's larger than the surrounding mountains, is well maintained, and fairly priced. The village at the bottom is really nice. During peak times it can get pretty crowded.... But that's every ski mountain.

I ran in the 2018 North American OCR Championships in August here. A gorgeous resort that is probably stunning in the winter and fall months. The mountain proved to be a daunting test of physical and mental will that I will not soon forget. I plan to return to Stratton next summer to compete again and better my time, but I will not be surprised if the mountain is just as beautifully challenging as I remember.

Snow boarded a weekend here. Pretty standard mountain amenities compared to West coast mountains. The mountain itself isn't quite as big as those out west, but definitely a step up compared to upstate NY and the Poconos

Skiing was tough because off the weather, but they made it easy to take advantage of the snow guarantee. Lodge is comfortable, food is the typical ski resort expensive that they try to justify with quantity.

Great Place but Built up too Big parking is Horrendous and scaled to meet the UpperClass! parking Permits sell for $1000 skiing has become a Rich Man's pastime now.
Middle Class will be shocked with the process here.
Crazy Lines at the ski Lifts.
Besides that the terrain was Great nice trails they just trying to get too many people in there greedy for money so ots just too crowded.
I'll try another place before I go back there.

I hope the resort can provide us all with insight in a fatal snowboarder accident happened around December 5th at Stratton that (according to multiple mutual friends between me and the alleged snowboarder) led to snowboarder's death after he was choppered into ICU. What exactly happened? Was there anything that the resort could have done better? (happy to take no as an answer too. Transparency is the key)

Liked the whole hiking and shopping experience. Didn't care for the attitude from one of the servers at the Sea Container Restaurant. Asked him if they had a particular condiment. Told me to read the board, if it's not on it I don't have it! Rude. All he had to say was "We Don't, Sorry" Probably won't eat there again. Too bad, my order was actually good!

Skiing was average, tons of terrain still not open. Lift lines were fine, COVID complainant. Usually come here for the village atmosphere, which was horrendous. Nothing open, very few choices for food/drink. Still paying top dollar for lodging to get barely anything the resort has to offer. Don t come here until COVID is a thing of the past unless your looking for the skiing only.

To book this adventure I first called and spoke to Steve (what a nice guy). I originally was going to book one snowmobile having my husband drive, however, Steve suggested me driving one myself. I am sooooo glad that I did! After booking I was feeling pretty nervous because I've never driven a snowmobile. Once we got to the place we met our laid back and pretty funny instructor, April. She had a quick presentation via slideshow which was fantastic because when my nerves kick in, my mind tends to go blank after verbal instructions (I'm working on it). She was awesome! Afterwards she handed us over to our snowmobile instructor, Mike. He was excellent! His calming personality made me feel safe and confident. Please please please BOOK! You will not regret it! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience. I am an addict now!! See you next year....

Amazing all-year round resort and beautiful village! We love it most for the skiing, but we come up for a visit every summer as well. The area has some of the best restaurants including my favorite on the PLANET (we've traveled a LOT), The Garden in Londonderry.

Stayed in the long trail house for two nights. Staff was fantastic. Rooms were a little dated, but clean and functional. The mountain is a solid experience. Trails well maintained and lifts working great. The little shopping village sets Stratton apart from it's competition. Plenty of shopping and dining to be had during your stay. Will be back again asap.

Beautiful room right across the street from the slopes. 5 minute walk right to the lifts. Check in was quick and easy, as was check out. Lockers are available to store gear at no cost. Highly recommend!

Stratton mountain never fails to be a great ski destination. Lift lines are usually short. And when they are longer they move fast. The mountain is big with many options for any level skier which make even a busy weekend feel less crowded than at many other ski resorts.
