Stratton Mt. Resort Review

Stayed at the hearthstone lodge. Overall the rooms were nice and the terrific village shops and base area is extremely close. The floors are quite thin between rooms though. Although you probably won't have little kids sprinting circles above you like I did, you can feel somebody walking by within the same room. Additionally the AC had a very tough time making it to the bedroom through the closed door.

Amazing place to ski... unless they are pumping out ice/snow constantly to the point where u can t see while skiing. Also they have a kids class teaching kids how to ski and the whole class goes left and right and left and right to the point where you can pass the slow class because they are blocking u can you don t want to hurt the kids.

The Stratton mountain resort has been a wonderful experience. The rooms are nice and well preserved, and the staff was more than welcoming and friendly. I would come back to this place to ski!

Good skiing on groomed surfaces. No lines partly sunny

The rooms are nice and the service is okay. I came for a concert so they may have better service during slower times. The location is beautiful.

The resort, mountain and surroundings are impeccable. But attention is lacking.

Was an unfortunate day from a weather standpoint but the skiing was pretty decent. No lines at all. Minimal food options but ..covid. I generally enjoy my time there

No concept of limiting ticket sales due to covid. Really packed every ticket sale they could get. Do not try to move across the mountain, every which way you go involves up hills, so painful as a boarder.

They groom the trails very well. Love mid week skiing, no lines

Large ski resort with well maintained lift and trail system. It can get busy on weekends but they manage the lines fairly well. Lots of varied terrain for people of all expertise including more beginner terrain than many other mountains. Great easy access location from Boston compared to many other vermont resorts.

Good hill, well maintained and groomed slopes. Lots of great blues for high speed gs, many blacks that should be blues... Lots of terrain.
Good for kids, good ski school.

Came for a wedding. The staff was amazing. The views are incredible, the little town was awesome. All of the amenities were fantastic. Everything about this resort is incredible. All I can say is we will absolutely be back in the future!

Stratton Mountain is wonderful. Their snow was amazing. They had lots of snow. Their gondola was on wind hold, but they reopened at the end of the day. The lines weren't too long and the staff was nice. I had to adjust my skis to make my boots fit and they gladly did it for free. The only complaint I have is that the road to get to Stratton is partly bad. The road is bumpy, with ice and snow covering it.

Crowded Expensive, but you get what you pay for luxurious environment

Busy/crowded on the weekends but a great place to ski and hangout! Slopes and facilities are typically well maintained.

Great ski trails with a lot of variety. Watch out for the lines and for trails that lead to only the halfway mark of the mountain - we try to avoid those as they force you to wait in line, again.

Incrdible cruisers..very good soups, especially the chicken noodle!!

Icy slopes, majority of slopes and lifts aren't open. What is open is nice

Was here for the day snowboarding. A really great mountain. It was not too crowded even on MLK weekend. Great and engaging trails of all levels let us ski together in a large group

All lifts were running and in good condition. Lines weren't bad which was great for being there on a holiday weekend. Trails were in great condition, it had just snowed overnight.

Had an amazing time. Many things to do besides skiing!

Beautiful experience here. You can do sky and snow boarding. Around here there are any restaurant with different king of food and fast food also yo can buy some clothes to practice sky or snowboarding. I love it. The people here are friendly.

What a gorgeous ski area! We stayed one night in a condo that looked straight up the main ski run. It was in July, so no snow, but the lifts were taking people to the top and back

Even late in the season, it has been a great experience. Slopes ate fun, but not overly difficult although some trails are long & flat between runs

Stratton is a wonderful mountain for anyone. Experienced or beginners, family, anyone. The trails never get old and the food is great.

Main drawback of Stratton Resort is that they are always very slow opening trails and it makes sense to travel here only towards end of the ski season (February/March) or mainly for Spring skiing. We wish Stratton was more customer focused, with emphasis on skiing and less on just being mainly a snow tubing location. Village is cozy and we only wish we could both stay in the village as well as enjoy skiing there.

Great place to ski, bars,restaurants and shops all close by. Stay close by the mountain and take advantage of the bus service.

Very nice mountain. Some fantastic wide cruisers that were well groomed. Cafeteria food was very good. Overall very good experience. Look forward to coming back.

I've been coming here with my family since I was literally a baby. It's the greatest ski area in the world. Not that I'm biased.

Nice experience for skiers. One of the pricier of the sorrunding ski resorts

Lots of great terrain, most of the blacks were skiied off but the blues still had snow. No lines on Christmas day and we got lots of runs from 9-2pm. If everything was open it would be a really nice mountain, nothing really tough and lots of rolling wide open trails. (Though all the double blacks were closed)

Great spring snow. Base mountain food is a better value and quality than most resorts.

Bathrooms were available to us hikers walking through. The gondola was a great way to access the back country for an overnight and getting tickets was easy.

This year they started a season pass special for the IKON pass. They NEVER DETAILED THE DEADLINE. Instead they used a marketing strategy that only said "prices go up 4/24". Most people lock a date in their head and the only date on all the sales literature and emails was 4/24. The deadline was 4/23. Really this is how you treat customers with a very expensive pass?

Wonderful conditions speedy lifts. Was windy but nothing goggles couldn't fix.

Excellent service and rentals, mountain is gorgeous. Picturesque views, tasty beer and big portions of food.

The mountain itself it great, really fun with the kids. The attitudes of the clientele, horrible! I was there this past weekend and I can't begin to describe the arrogance and entitlement of the people in the lodges and hotels! Unfortunately most wearing season passes. I am sad to say it will not be one of my regular spots because of this.

This is in no way reflective of the staff who were all smiling and pleasant in all of my transactions. Actually found them extra nice in response to simple niceties like "thank you" and "please". The grooming and snow conditions were amazing this weekend but all overshadowed by the arrogance of the patrons.

They do s great job with limited snow.

Love coming here, the staff and people are always friendly. The lodge is small but actually has soon good food. Better than most mountains. I really love the gondola when it's running but the mountain gives you a good mix of terrain and trails. Snow conditions are always well kept and the mountain is wide!

Stratton never disappoints! The conditions are always superior and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly!

Great village at the bottom of a diverse mountain. The prices are a little steep but that s what they can demand because of how accessible they are.

Its a really nice place to be right off the mountain with surrounding resturants, the rooms are clean and nice. On the holidays they do firework shows at the bottom of the mountain.
