Very disappointed in this place. Everything was fine in the beginning. The salesman was returning my calls. Guess he just wanted a sell. He told me let him know if I need anything. But he isn't returning my calls now. I am paying for the premium extended warranty. And its taking 3 months to get in for an oil change. Now my tire needs to be replaced (which they say is included) and they are saying no avail til Feb. Are u freaking serious?? I'm not driving around on a spare til Feb. Guess I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. And when I go to buy another Honda I'll go somewhere else.

My wife joelle and I had an amazing experience at stokes honda! We got the exact vehicle we wanted down to the color, which isn t easy when talking about the used car market. We purchased a 2011 Honda Pilot from Joel Crawford. Joel was very helpful, not at all pushy and very polite which is a breathe of fresh air when car shopping! First time I have bought a car and everything went well. My salesman, PJ, was very candid and casual in conversation on the whole process, making things much easier. Additionally he was always quick to respond to any questions or to find the answers to such if not immediately on hand. I am from out of state and utilize a regional bank making the financing a little tricky.Although I decided not to finance the Civic, the finance manager was willing to contact my bank and work out the associated paperwork which would have been a great help.

The staff were great, Tracy was informative and understanding as was the sales manager who did what she could to get the price to where I needed the payments. They do however need to clarify the Facebook post about the matching down payment which does not say it s based on the choice of model.

After working all day on my feet, I came to Stokes Honda for an oil change that I had scheduled an appointment for, and unfortunately had to wait quite a while in the waiting area. After about an hour and fifteen minutes, my car was still sitting outside and I was pretty upset about the wait and was getting frustrated. I asked for my keys back so I could leave and come back another time, and a very professional man spoke with me and offered a complimentary rental car to me so I could go about my evening and leave my car. It turns out that he was the GM, Mr. Stokes. I would like to thank Mr. Stokes and my advisor, Lauren B for their great customer service and for turning a disappointing service appointment into a service appointment that went above and beyond. The customer service is one of the reasons I keep coming back!

Matt was so helpful in helping me start my search for a new car. I ve been hesitant to go car shopping because I was dreading dealing with a pushy car salesman . Matt is the complete opposite and was super informative about all the cars I inquired about. Everyone else that I encountered while there was very nice too. The Service Mgr Miss Niles was negative and unprofessional. Her negative attitude colored what was already a not-so-pleasant experience. It was her decision to not honor the Honda warranty that was still in effect and assume that the problems with my vehicle were MY FAULT. I was highly offended. I suggest that anyone with problems to their recent purchase go to Rick Hendrick Honda on Savannah Hwy. I bought a Honda because I believe in the standard for excellence. Ms Niles does not well represent the brand. Many thanks to Joe Spear who was as pleasant as he could possibly have been under the circumstances.

NO NEED FOR THE EDITORS TO REPLY WITH AN APOLOGY. I think you need someone with empathy and not negative aggression leading the Service Dept. My experience could have been better if not for her arbitrary attitude.

I'm talking about business with a handshake, doing what he says he will do, and going over the top to provide exceptional customer service. David Rustin, a Service Advisor at Stokes Honda North is the absolute best service advisor that I have ever encountered. David took care of my Mother s car during a hectic situation with the COVID-19 and staying in place. She needed extensive work on her vehicle, that also included body work but as my Mother said, she was not worried because she knew that the car was in good hands. I thanked God that David was there and he took care of me. You cannot put a price on peace of mind. David proved that he is a man of his words because he walks his talk and we could not be happier that he is part of Stokes Honda North and as a result we are customers for life. He was truly a help and a blessing and we cannot thank him enough!

Beware of calling the service department on the phone. I have called 3 times this morning to see if my car's service has been completed. Each of my calls received an answer that they would check on it and call me right back. I have had no calls yet. It's been 2.5 hours since our last chat. And they wonder why I won't buy a car from them. REALLY? ??

I walked into this dealership incredibly frustrated after visiting other dealerships that morning and wasting my time. I cannot stand games I Know what my trade-in is worth and hate the back and forth wasting of my time. I was greeted by Kathleen Reese and will not lie that my mood was on the irritated side. I immediately told her what I was looking for and told her I couldn t stand what I had been through that day and I wasn t willing to take anymore. LOL. I have never met or worked with a car sales person that was as quick, informed, nice and no nonsense. No games- the entire transaction was seamless. I HIGHLY recommend Kathleen! She was AWESOME to work with. In fact- everyone was nice. I felt respected and no one tried to undervalue my trade in. The finance guy was super nice too. Picked up my brand new very shiny vehicle today. Kathleen also took the time to help me understand my new vehicle and all it s controls! THANK YOU to everyone at the dealership but mostly Kathleen for your quick service and help in getting me exactly what I was looking for! If I could rate my experience 6 stars I would, but since 5 is the max..... that s what you get! Thank you!!!!

I called to ask for an appointment for a oil change and the lovely lady on the phone talked to me like I was an idiot because I wanted an oil change on Friday. I m sorry I didn t realize that there is a mad rush for oil changes on Fridays. I don t work in that line of business. I simply asked if there was a spot available to end up being talked down to. Wow I thought these people were in the customer service business. I m going to go with she might not need to answer the phone anymore.

Edit: I received a call with an apology and an appointment for my oil change not long after my review. While I had the issue with the one employee my experience turned out to be very pleasant with great service.

The best place hands down! Just got done purchasing my second vehicle, and will never go anywhere else! Alex is the best salesperson I ve ever met! Treats me like family every time I ve walked in, and has been great to my kids! From the minute I first walked on the lot I didn t feel like vultures were out to get me, I felt at ease and knew I d be taken care of! AJ and Alex worked with me on this vehicle and they were amazing from start to finish! Can t say enough good things about this place!

Stokes Honda North was the most professional and easy going car dealership that I have ever visited. My saleswoman, Chelsea C., was an absolute delight to deal with! She accommodated my multiple test drive requests on different vehicles, without pressuring me to purchase on the spot. She also was willing to work with my schedule and made sure that all the different vehicles were available for viewing. When it came to the negotiating portion, the entire process was painless. I stated the price was I was willing to pay, and the they worked to meet me at that price without delaying trying any of the typical "car sales" scams to add to the price.

I cannot say enough good things about this process, about Chelsea, and about the manager, Kenny. All of them made this the best purchase experience! Thank you!!

Me and my husband bought a Honda civic brand new here about a year ago, and it was an awful experience. Our salesman was rude and pushy, and i hated the experience. I went recently to get a car, just giving it a second chance and it was a completely different experience. My salesman was upfront with me, he wasn't pushy, and he got me the car i wanted with the payments i wanted. Tommy James is by far the best salesman I've delt with in a long time.

We saw a couple on-line that caught our attention at Stokes Honda. When we arrived, we were met with a friendly smile from Mr. Stacy Coffield. Stacy was amazing, her answered all our questions and help make our car shopping experience great. They didn't have the one we truly wanted on the lot, so he took the time to help us find one at a near by dealership. Stokes had the odyssey delivered to the North Charleston dealership so we could test drive. It was a perfect fit and had all the items we were looking for. Went in to get my airbags and headlights replaced. I have an older Honda but you would have thought I had a brand new car from the stellar treatment I received. They had a shuttle service that dropped me back home and picked me up after the service was complete so I wasted no time waiting around for the repairs. They also did a free inspection and printed out recommended service schedule. I was only charged for the headlights, and it was half the price I expected to pay. I will be back in the future!

Just thought I would say a few words. In the past I left the Charleston area when purchasing a new vehicle. In 2006 I was in the marker for a new one and the Ridgeline caught my eye. I decided to take a ride to Stokes Honda just to look. I knew I was probably going to head to Columbia or elsewhere to purchase. While there, I was shown a beautiful silver 06 RTL. The salesguy was factual, not pushy. It was everything I wanted, and they gave me a GREAT deal on it. Ten years later, and 143,000 miles and Stokes has maobtained my ridgeline thus entire time, for everything. They do really good work, and are extremely reasonable. At one point I had to buy new Michelin tires and everywhere, these tires were priced at $1000 and more. Stokes sold them to me for around $800, basically buying 3 and getting one free. This is my go to place. My hope is that I'll continue to use them when I'm in the market for a new vehicle. Hopefully the new Ridgeline is as great as the one u have. My truck is the best vehicle I've ever had. Thanks Stokes!

First time I used dealership and I would go back. Had my car towed to dealership so they called me after they assessed the problem, fixed it and then picked me up at my home the next day so I could get car. The one thing I was disappointed with was when I first entered the service department it was a bit confusing. There were many desks with reps at each but no line. It was okay until more people arrived, no one knew who was next. The employees were very respectful and nice. The pricing was better than I thought it would be. Very satisfied!

Needed my car picked up for service during COVID19. There are other dealerships doing this kind of service. People are out of work and would be willing to drive cars for this kind of service. I am a compromised person and can t get my car to service, nor am I ok with being shuttled back and forth.
I did call, I texted, and got the same unconcerned answer. WE DONT T DO THAT.

Service section itself is in need of a total makeover and staff needs training. Being the only Honda dealer nearby service options are very limited for Honda owners. Stokes evidently could care less about providing a well run, customer service oriented maintenance operation because of this. The poor quality of service and BS one must endure has pretty much made us decide to never buy another Honda unless we move somewhere else. Poor customer service experience just about every time, quality of service preformed is lacking as well. Stokes needs to fix em as well as they sell em!
