We went to pick heather but I came to talk to a very sympathetic young man who was a beekeeper and had his hives there. A very spontaneous explanation about the hives and the bee population, very nice!

One of the most refreshing experience I've ever got in The Netherlands! I came with high expectation just to embrace the nature and enjoy the scenery. That's exactly what I've got, leisurely biking (free!) within available path. A bit sad with the fact that we didn't came across any wildlife animal but still.. top!

I spent such a nice day in this national park. It is very large, and you can easily spend a fully day and still not visit all its hidden corners. The white bicycles are for free usage by the visitors, and you could bring your own bike or horse if you wish. There is parking and bicycle station at each entrance, however you can pay higher fee and enter the park with your car. That way you can do a quick round and then park in the center, where you can find museum, place to ear, toilet, big bicycle station, etc.
You can come prepared with food, camping chairs, professional cameras, binoculars and you will have great time, but you can as well come with nothing but good mood and you will still be fine.

Absolutely lovely place to visit, great museum, free white bikes to ride on wide open cycle ways and some excellent country trails. Good restaurants in the town's by each entrance too.

The park itself has very nice places, but the forest is not inspiring from the Hoenderloo entrance to the visitor center and the museum. Which is very nice; you park your car outside the park ( 3.50 for a day) and you park your bike in the park; there are free bicycles everywhere.
The museum is still beautiful, even though nothing seems to change in terms of building. The old works of art, such as a lot of Van Gogh, gave us pleasure, but modern art left us bewildered. Why this is art when it does nothing to you ...
In the 'Monsieur Jaques' restaurant the prices are firm, but you are very comfortable and the drinks are excellent.

Returning from Zwolle to Limburg with Elly cycled 25 km. We wanted to go to the museum but it is closed on Mondays. Still enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and heath.

Beautiful forest for cycling and walking, for example. Nicely maintained and there is an on-site restaurant / bar and gift shop. Also a small museum with explanations

For years an annual card .... the park has become a piece of yourself ... Super .... enjoy .....

Wonderful area! All the way from Amsterdam to cycle around here. The game track was very busy due to bronze age, but if you go out on your own with the bike through the area you also encounter animals. Worth repeating!

Wonderful. we pass in different landscapes in the same place: forest, desert, plain ... It is superb. Allow at least a good half-day to do it in full.

the hoge veluwe is an icon in the NL. huge park with so many possibilities. you get a bike to explore it. nice museums. if u like nature, hiking, cycling dont miss a visit to this park

All nice, but according to the bumblebee bumble bees you can not only go to the museum. No, you are obliged to cycle through the park at an extra 10 euros per person.

Dreamlike forest/dune landscapes. White public bikes for the taking, including ones with kid seat. Nice museum with excellent sculpture garden.

They had described it as a beautiful national park. That's it! very well marked routes. At the entrance after having made the entrance ticket, I suggest you take the bicycles and follow the plan with the various cycling routes that are not particularly tiring. Really beautiful landscapes. The only drawback (for us Italians, perhaps) bicycles without the classic brakes, to stop pedaling back!

The Hoge Veluwe National Park is incredibly beautiful, I find the recently opened visitor center incredibly ugly, but what makes it good is that you can get a free bicycle at the nature pavilion is good and well cared for and has a lot of variety

In short, definitely worth a visit, but take into account the entrance fee for the car and people

Here our 11-year-old girl learned to ride a bicycle. She had no choice. Riding in an area with shaded avenues. You can transfer here at least 4 hours.

Prachtige locatie met veel te zien en te doen. Ik ben hier aan aantal keer geweest en heb nog steeds niet alles gezien. Het museum met beeldentuin is de moeite waard om te bekijken, en maak ook zeker gebruik van de witte fietsen.
