A visit to this park with the free bicycles is highly recommended. However, the entrance fee is on the high side.

Pay for a forest to visit an event. Then also an hour's walk to reach the event without a normal walking path. I will never go there again. Enough other forest in the Veluwe that is more beautiful and with good hiking trails.

One of the most beautiful nature parks in the Netherlands. Great variety of nature! The principle with the rental bikes in the park is great. A cultural highlight is of course the van Gogh Museum in the heart of the park!

Very nice park, especially in August beautiful colors on the heath. Very nice to see the red deer in September. Recommended for a day trip, by using the white bikes that you can grab anywhere in the park and therefore you can easily see the entire park.

The park has beautiful walking and cycling paths. The landscape has many faces and is therefore very varied. Tip: rent an electric bicycle!
Book online in advance, because the offer is limited. You can take a bicycle for free at all entrances, but it is not advisable to cycle on it for a whole day. All bicycles have a child's seat on the back as standard!

Absolutely outstanding place. The park has several different gorgeous landscapes and it's worth spending most of the day cycling around enjoying the nature. Wild animals( Boars, red and roe deers) can be seen early in the morning and late in the day.
The museum has a really impressive collection of artworks, including Van Gogh as well as a large garden full of abstract art objects.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Nice park, just a pity that there were almost no children's bikes at the starting point from Hoenderloo and at the Jachthuis there were 14! And only 4 bikes for adults.

Great cycling and fully enjoyed the beautiful park.

Sensational park that can be visited with bicycles from the place itself (they have more than 1,800 !!). Paved and unpaved bike paths. Dunes, forests and other beautiful landscapes. It is quite flat and runs very well, even children. All bicicketas have rear seats for children and some even front seats for babies. Very well organized There are places to eat.

The entrance to the park is expensive but the free bikes compensate that. It is worthy to go for photograph the mammals from the animal observatory. Otherwise too difficult to watch them. Park no good for birdwatchers. Most of the bike trail is around a vast area without trees, short vegetation and cut trees, so try to go out of the trail into de forest by foot and some little lagoons marked in google maps. Maybe you will see a deer. The reserve is 5400 protected ha, but less than 40% is forest. Good customer service, good bikes.

Loved cycling around the park. However beware there are separate tracks for pedestrians, cycles, and cars. You actually get the best and more complete views of you stick to the cycle tracks! Get one of the maps.

Actually (more than) five stars worth. The only reason for a star less is the price. For entrance and parking only, you have already lost almost 23 with the two of you.
