Amazingly beautiful scenery. Cycling paths are relatively narrow and can be quite busy, so cycling next to each other is not always possible.

National Park De Hoge Veluwe is without doubt one of the most important nature reserves in the Netherlands. All kinds of hiking trails, of which there is now also an accessible for disabled visitors and strollers. For us that is possible because we want to walk more than 1 or 2 kilometers, but at the same time, sand paths with a pram are often not good to do. This route was indeed sand, but very firmly constructed. Definitely a must if you have a fresh nose.

Nice to go once but quite pricey. Entrance park is separate from the museum so that is something to take into account.

For a family of three, we have leafed about 30 euros - so there is a lot to be offered. At the east entrance is a totally closed ... Dixi-Klo. Start well. The wheels are a good service for those who are not on their own bike anyway. In the next one and a half hours we drove a good 20 km, without having seen anything spectacular. Sand, heath and pines are everywhere. Animals were not to be discovered. There are no picnic facilities or any kind of kids activity on the way. The martial hunting lodge is just for driving on and the information center including playground is being renovated. Nevertheless, you demand the full price. And you also have to pay extra for the roadmap.
Conclusion: Almost everywhere in the Netherlands you can go by bike. For that I do not have to spend unnecessary money.

Beautiful park, to explore by bike or on foot. You enter by paying the entrance and then you can take the bicycles of the park, with which to walk the many bike paths, through woods, sand and flowering heather. Don't miss the museum of modern art inside.

What a place what a place! Great huge park for bike riding with a famous white bikes, great for a full day with picnic in between. Anyone who know how to ride a bike will enjoy a full day here from oldest to youngest....you, your bike and a nature. Perfect and must go in Netherlands.

It s an interesting place. You can have a free bike to go arround the parc. Go and bring some picnic. Enjoy the forest, lakes and, if you are lucky, some of the animals you can see.

In itself a beautiful park, but the price is in our opinion on the high side (11 euros per person). You also have to choose your routes carefully because it is very busy, mainly with visitors on electric bicycles and, in our opinion, very disturbing, cars. Why not offer visitors who come by car an alternative (such as the bus that also stops at the park) instead of letting everyone drive through the park by car? That does not benefit the atmosphere of the park and the spotting of animals.

If you like walking, like we do, then it is actually better to choose a nice route in the vicinity. Quieter, beautiful surroundings and costs nothing.
