Stein Erickson Lodge is the best place I have ever had the privilege of visiting. There is a peace there that cannot be matched anywhere else. The staff make you feel like a million bucks. I will forever have a love for Stein.

I had an experience a while ago with Alyssa Zybell, an employee there. She was the rudest, most insincere person I have ever encountered on the planet. Everyone I was with was flabbergasted how she would speak to us and how entitled she was. You can just tell she is the kind of person who throws a fit over the smallest details when she's out at a business but then doesn't care about the customer at all when they have a complaint at her place of work. I will never come back to this business while she is employed there. Everything else about this business is phenomenal, but Alyssa was so disrespectful that we have a horrible taste in our mouth. She's the spawn of Satan himself.

Service - this was a mixed bag. The valet, bellman, and server at the lounge were great, but the front desk was rude, and at one point made sarcastic jokes at my expense. No clue why.

In short, RUN. This place must be paying for its 5-star ratings.

Hubby and I spent our 8 year anniversary here! Then we came back again 2 weeks later! We loved the private deck and our hot tub on cold nights that can just warm you up We already plan to be back on our next anniversary. Thank you Stein Erikson Lodge - Deer Valley!

All I can say is Wow. Wife and I really needed a night away so I surprised her with reservations here. It was our first time staying here and it was amazing. There staff was great and very helpful with every aspect. The room was incredible and so clean. We enjoyed the hot tub on our private balcony on a freezing night. It was definitely a night to remember. We will definitely be heading back sometime.

This place is amazing, there are beautiful views from every room. They are called cuartas but in reality it would be more accurate to call them apartments. They are massive, clean, and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without question.

Beautifully prepared meal that is in my top 3 all time favorite meals ever. Go to this place just for the beauty of the lodge and mountain views if nothing else. You will not be disappointed!

This place is an absolute dream! It is obviously a well honed, well organized machine and the staff was wonderful - especially Harris! He was knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The rooms were inviting, clean, and the sights were absolutely remarkable. Would love to visit again!

Poor experience . We reseved a deluxe king . What a joke . Room 201-3 , this must have beeb Stein's closet for his skis . A room stuck in the eighties needs to be upgraded. Broken tub drain , broken toilet that wont flush . Very small jetted tub. THIS IS NOT THE FIVE STAR RESORT THEY CLAIM TO BE. Tried to order off the menu in the room , was told we had the winter menu and it was now summer time . When the other room service menu was brought up the prices were 30% to 40% higher for the same exact thing ( like the rib eye ) , the quinoa salad meal was $42.00 for quinoa !! The spa claim to be the best in Utah , which it i s not. The Grand Ameica in SLC is alot better . COME ON STEIN ERICKSON IF YOU SAY YOUR A FIVE STAR RESORT ACT LIKE ONE !! AND FOR HEAVENS SAKE DEFINITELY UP GRADE ROOMS LIKE 201-3 ....and teach your maids and housekeeping to knock loadly before barging in the rooms !! May 19 ,20 , 21. (2017) A BAD EXPERIENCE, NOT VERY IMPRESSED

I had a magical time !!! It was pricey but the experience was worth it you feel like a part of the mountains everydetail is is well though the service was unparalleled the only disappointing part was that people who went there were indulging in eating pig and beef and it s not so sustainable and as we facing environmental crisis it would be nice to have food options that are sustainable and good for us so definitely more plant based options on the menu let s keep the snow there as years go by Together we can all make a difference

Certainly the highest quality accommodation possible. My visit was very pleasant, I'm not sure if it was worth the substantial premium paid over other hotels nearby, but for those who are hard to please, there's no better place to spend your vacation.

Amazing views, superb service, and top-notch food! We came for the Sunday buffet and are still amazed at the selection of food. You must try their wild game chili, and their prime rib is one of the best.

One of the coolest places in the ski resort industry. Stein Eriksen Lodge is a great place to stay when you're at Deer Valley they also have a Great Buffet with one of the biggest desert bars. The nice thing is that it's slopeside and has a great Norwegian theme & very dog friendly and has one of the nicest women's boutiques ever. five stars

We went to the Stein Erickson Lodge to get lunch during downhill mountain biking. The burger is one of the best in Utah and the service is amazing. I will be going back there as much as I can.

To be frank this place is luxurious, and I was actually just visiting as a guest. The reason I am writing this review is because I was asked who I was with there (while I was right next to my brother) by a cleaner and it made me feel seriously unwelcome. If you are just there to spend lots of money than this is the place for you, but I guess if you look poor or maybe that you don t belong like I did than look elsewhere.

Wonderful mountain resort that's gorgeous all year no matter what season.
Came here for their famous Sunday brunch at Glutritend. Unlike a Vegas buffet huge quantity hundreds of choices. In here less choice but high quality.
The surroundings, settings made it perfect.

This place never disappoints. Stein is the epitome of five star. The staff is always amazing, starting when you first arrive, including the wait staff, and continuing all the way through the ski locker room. Rooms are generally very nice, including fireplaces, heated floors, balcony hot tubs, and plenty of room. The food is amazing too. The wild game chili is too die for. And of course you get immediate direct access to deer valley as well, which is likely the biggest upside of staying here. Don't hesitate, enjoy the ride.

When staying at this highly rated, expensive resort it is reasonable to have lofty expectations. Sadly the Stein Eriksen Lodge did not meet these. There was a wait to get into our room. The hot tub cover broke as well as the clothing dryer. The food (besides the burger which was VERY good) was subpar. My girls even said daily that they thought the pool was dirty. We live in the Salt Lake City Valley and have stayed in many of the higher end resorts up in Park City. It is sad to say that this "high end" vacation was disappointing. I HIGHLY recommend staying instead at the Stein Eriksen Residences, The Montage or Hotel Park City and we will not be returning to the Stein Eriksen Lodge again.

I stayed at the Stein Eriksen during the first week of August 2019, so my review speaks only as to my experience during summer conditions. This Lodge is one of the most gorgeous properties in Park City. The unassuming entrance hides the fantastic main lodge area which takes full advantage of the incredible views of the mountains and nearby ski lifts. This property is rated 5 stars and it definitely lives up to its reputation for first class service and attention to detail. With several onsite options for dining, I suggest a table out on the main terrace where you can take in the natural beauty and idyllic ambiance. The "cluster" of rooms and larger suites are separated by impeccably landscaped grounds: Think zen tranquility. The rooms are very well appointed with pretty much every amenity you need, including free wifi (hard wired internet available too), luxury bathrobes and balconies with tables and chairs. Sitting on the balcony at night is an exercise in bliss. Everyone on staff is exceptionally talented and clearly understand the needs of even the most jaded traveler. I can't wait to return to the Stein Eriksen Lodge!
