They have given us the best service! They think of everything and cater to your every need. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is that the valet service has been inconsistent for us and for our family members. We had to wait at least 20 minutes for them to bring our vehicle.

I was at the restaurant and it was fabulous! We sat outside covered from the sun by an umbrella. Views were great, service was excellent, and both dishes were delicious. I had the buffalo cheesesteak, again really great food.
We had a great time at the Stein Eriksen! The rooms were very large and comfortable. The property was immaculately landscaped, very clean, and the staff was exceptionally helpful.
I recently stayed here for a work retreat with my husband. I was at the pool and took my wedding rings off to put sunblock on. I got distracted and left them on one of the tables. I didn't realize I had left them there until a few hours later. I searched everywhere at the pool and in my room. I called and reported it to security and within 15 min I had them returned to me! One of the staff found them at the pool and turned them in. I am so grateful for the honesty and integrity of the staff here. The amenities are top notch.
Expect terrible service. Forever to get menus. Plates were never cleared. Chilli from the menu meat is dry. Waguy pastrami is boring and dry. Montage is much better. Will not return.
This place was over the top in customer service, food, and cleanliness! I've been fortunate to stay at many resorts in Deer Valley and Park City none of have compared. I see why it was listed on Forbes Best!
The room we stayed in was great and it had a steam shower that was heavenly. The newly-remodeled pool and game room were a blast. Dining at the Glitretind was a wonderful experience; the tomato salad and the filet mignon were mouth-watering craveable dishes. The spa was very relaxing and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing.
Nice rooms and nice staff but..... The third time I have stayed there but maybe the last time I stay there. Got to room and my wife went to take a bath and found hair and a nail or toenail in the bath and decided to take a shower but found a half used soap and shampoo in the shower. I tried to turn the temp down in our suite but one of the two thermostats were broken so I had to keep switching the working thermostat from the bedroom to main room to get temp down. I paid a lot of money for the room and expected more. Asked for a discount and the front desk said there was nothing they could do. Overall not happy and most likely won't be going back.
Nice rooms. GREAT BEDS!!! Love how quiet the rooms are at night. Never heard our neighbors. Great Central location. Convenient to lots of recreational activities.
This is by far the best place i have ever stayed. We will definitely be returning. The staff, food, service, location, and facility are all amazing and definitely worth every penny. They 100% put their customer's satisfaction first.
Annual lunch at Stein Eriksen's. Food is excellent. Both the buffet and menu have many delectable items. Cocktails are special, too. The service is always superior. Bring your appetite...portions are generous.
Best place for lunch that we found at Deer Valley. On Sunday, the patio was open for lunch and we had a lovely view and delicious burger (which they skillfully made medium rare!) with fries by the fire.
4 stars because not everything was perfect - linguine was overcooked, for example.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, but rooms are not 5 star. Bath tub was grimy and needed a deep clean. There was no ventalation in the bathroom so after taking a shower it was way too hot to get ready for a long time afterwards. Bathroom scale didn't work. The TV kept cutting out and shutting off randomly and wouldn't come back for 15-20 min. The first night I woke up and couldn't sleep because it was so hot. There was no cold air coming out of the vents so I had to open the door until it was too cold and I had to get up again to shut it. In the morning I called the front desk (on a phone that appeared to be from the 80s) to tell them the A/C didn't work. They sent someone up who fixed it. Nobody ever called back to follow up. The next night the air shut off again around 3 AM and I couldn't sleep again. We were checking out that day so I mentioned at as we were leaving. They just smiled and said they were sorry. In my experience a hotel would normally offer to switch you rooms after the first call or at least follow up. I would not recommend this hotel for the price, there are some much better places to stay in Park City.
The skiers' buffet is not to be missed! Consistently excellent food with a wide variety of premium foods and preparations. The fruit and cheese platters are first-rate. Exceptional dining experience all around.
so got here at 11 and a bunch of times a girl by the name of Malisa came over and said it would be 2 minutes before we can get a table. 30 minutes later we re still waiting and eventually we don t end up getting a table till 12:54. service sucks at this place and would recommend trying something else
One of the best resort experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail and staff going above and beyond was absolutely wonderful. Food and drinks were amazing and the complimentary breakfast was absolutely the highest quality complimentary breakfast j have come across.
Expensive, well maintained, spacious, lacking a bit in illumination, clean. Westayed in a large suite, jacizzi tub, kitchen, huge living room, only one bedroom, everything Grande, and dark. Even with all the lights in any given room on, we had our phones out for flashlights. The tap water is some of the best I've tasted. The view was beautiful, fall colors were peaking. My single breakfast, OJ, coffee and a "Norwegian pancake" $31. Plus tip. The in room sound system is old school, CD/DVD But you're invited to pay for a 6 station 24hr music player on the tv, $9.99. There are some good local radio stations available for free. To summarize, Food, outstanding. Room, cavernous. View, very nice. Service, impeccable. Details, a bit murky (easter egg hunt for bathroom glasses, Kleenex, hot tub controls, jacuzzi tub controls). Steam shower didn't work. Hot tub steps will shoot out from under you and leave you on your butt. Replacing the hot tub cover alone required quite a feat of heroism, and a wet robe. The viewing room / reading room area is to die for.
Service was great from the time we walked in. They gave us a full tour of the property on the way to our room. The room was very nicely appointed. Excellent view and great place to stay. I can see why it is a 5 star property.
Stein is not only nostalgic for me but every time I visit I create be memories. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is 5-Star. Food is out of this world, they have the best brunches(and I m not even a breakfast person) I would be there every Sunday if I could. Staff is amazing, always willing to help, even if it s not within their job description . They some of the best Mountain views with the coziest fire pit decks. What else could you ask for?! Not to mention my favorite wedding spot. Flagstaff deck views + a beautiful bride and handsome groom to compliment it.
I really enjoy the Stein Eriksson Lodge. The rooms are fantastic and the breakfast buffet on Saturdays is top notch.
This visit I attended a conference. The meeting rooms where great but the conference organizers tried to fit too many tables in the hall way. It made it feel much more cramped. Take the buffet line out of the large room and swap it with the cocktail tables and you'd have better space to chat and make connections.
Amazing room with spectacular views! It was a blast swimming in the heated pool and even BETTER having the jacuzzi on our own private deck! And to top it off, my beautiful wife was able to create us an exquisite dinner thanks to the fully stocked kitchen! We may have to turn this destination into an annual birthday get-away destination.
Great views and wonderful Sunday Brunch buffet. It was very crowded in season so you definitely need to make a reservation. Food was good and very timely service.
Stein Eriksen is beautiful with large, luxurious rooms and a very good restaurant. The bathrooms have deep soaking tubs and are very well done. They used to have great specials in the off season, but I haven t found this to be the case anymore. However, if you stay at Chateux across the street, Stein s sister hotel, they will give you access to Stein - at least in the off season. I have stayed at both and think highly of each.
One of the best resorts I ve ever been to! The cleanliness, service and attention to detail is impeccable. Our room had the most beautiful view of Deer Valley. We loved all the features during our stay such as the movie theater, arcade and the heated pool! The beds were so comfortable - I loved the pillows. The shower/bath is difficult to adjust, it s either too hot or way too cold, just a very sensitive temperature handle, but it wasn t too big of a worry. The valet service amazed me by how quick and efficient they were. I would absolutely love to enjoy another stay here again and highly recommend it if you are in the Park City area.
Just got to say - these guys have their act together. The staff took great care of us. Our room had a hot tub on our bedroom deck - looking out on the ski runs of Deer Valley. The furnishings of our guest room were just amazing. Super comfortable bed! The mountain is really green. The staff in the bike rental shop within the hotel were excellent. Thanks for the insight on where to bike on the mountain. We will be back!
Very nice rooms, very clean. All the staff was very helpful and went out the their way to make sure your experience was the best it could possibly be. Most views are good, though mountain views are much more desirable. Be prepared to have your breath taken away, by the beauty of the lodge and the lack of oxygen
Stayed here for a work conference and had an absolutely amazing experience. Amazing property and rooms rivaled only by the customer service! I will definitely try to come back for a personal vacation at some point.
Great food, great views and great people. Visited in September and during winter it must be magical. Pioneer mining town of Park City has great ambiance. Just make sure that 8200 foot elevation doesn't create a problem for you otherwise highly recommended.
