The Pub is the place to be in Steilacoom! Beautiful location and pretty good food! Their sandwich menu is creative and delish. Great place to grab a lunchtime beer and burger!

Nice old fashioned pub experience. This is where you walk in and everyone knows your name.

Service slow, food is sub par,meals don't arrive to table at same time..Dont get fish,no flavor very greasy. Customer service poor..not worth a return trip..Been there twice same both times

Very good fish n chips, not so good coleslaw.
Now 3 years later, our fish n chips counter order was lost, so needed resumitting to cook. Fries were excellent, but fish arrived lukewarm and improperly cooked. Will try them again in maybe 3 years.
Dont recommend them!

Very nice except for the mix up in my sandwich order. I ordered a Turkey Gobbler and was given something else. Was quickly remedied. Thank u

Trashy, dirty dishes were given to us with lipstick of the previous guests still fresh on the glasses.

There isn't much better than grabbing a beer and sitting outside here. Beautiful view of the sound and a good selection of beer/ food. Standard bar fare, but the pizza is a cut above.

Dropped in for breakfast while waiting for Church to begin. The food was well prepared and filling. The coffee was excellent.

The Steilacoom Gobbler was the best but the service was subpar. It took the lady a while to take our order and she said "if you want to order you have to come over here". I felt that it was rude. But the food was the bomb.

Great staff, they get to know you fast and always (in my experience) provide great, fast service. Free pool Sunday and Monday too! (I think those are the days)

I live around the corner from and frequent this pub often. Food is good! Good beer selection!

Now that the good is out if the way, on to the bad. If they are busy, turn around and leave. The staff can't keep up. Patrons stand in line for 10 plus minutes without orders being taken or the staff acknowledging you.

Excellent place to bring the kids for lunch. When it gets dark head there for dinner & drinks with friends. Very hip. Food is excellent. I recommend the Fish & Chips .Yum!

Great staff, music, pool tables, food and best of all, customers are friendly. I first set foot in this bar in 1997 when stationed at Ft. Lewis. It hasn't changed much and that's great!

Staff was very kind, and food was ok. They have a nice seating area outside that allowed us to bring our dog to come with us; even included small dog bowls of water at each table for him to drink!

Excellent choice for breakfast and lunch! Plenty of gluten free options too!

This place is in a fabulous location. Near ferry line. Nice friendly server. Vibe was really goof. Food was ok. Easy walk to beach to eat a to-go order.

Always have, always will. Small town, simple design and good food with a great selection of beer. The owner never let's you go unnoticed and leads her staff by walking the walk.

Stopped in for a quick lunch last week. Turkey sandwich was good. Service was friendly. Will return and try again.

The wings were not great, but the individual who ate the burger said it was good.

Decent food. Good beer. Nice people. Needs to upgrade the bathrooms...

Underwhelming at best. There were probably 4 groups there including my family and me (MAYBE a total of 10 people) and it still took around 45 minutes to get our food. The food itself was very average and way overpriced. My daughter's PB&J was $6? Really? It was just a regular PB&J on white bread. My "Italian" sandwich which said it would be hot was made with regular cold cuts on Walmart bread and then microwaved. My wife's salad was the same as well, iceberg lettuce with some extras. My son's burger looked good but also tasted average. I could've made everything myself for probably $20. Our meal was $67! We enjoy eating at local spots, but we will never go there again. Do yourself a favor and skip this place unless you enjoy overpriced, average food.

Table service was near non-existant tonight. I'm sure tip volume reflected it. All that was needed were smiles, acknowlement & attention to customer needs...sales would of been up also.

Don't bother with this place. Driven by several time over the years and decided to stop in for lunch. Service was mediocre at best. You order at the counter in front and they hand you a number. If tou want a soda they give you a styrofoam cup and say it over there help your self. I ordered their "Special". Pastrami and Pepper jack on sourdough and soup. I even asked if was a decent size sandwich and was told yes its a big one. Sorry but if thats a big one I would hate to see what a normal sandwich looks like. It was literally a slice or two of commercial flavorless meat, a slice of cheese and some vegies. Yup that was filling. My 10 year old could have done better. Along with the bland institutional tomato bisque. And to think I paid almost $12 and waited half an hour for that. And they weren't busy at all. Cant even give it any stars.

The bartender is great! She's been there a long time and a very pleasant person to talk too. Prices are reasonable.
Addition to the previous review. The first one was 7 months ago and this one is dated 6/20/19 we went to the Steilacoom Pub for lunch. I ordered a mushroom burger and the mushrooms we're completely uneditable. At first I thought they used dried mushrooms then I realized they were really old and probably microwaved. They were like dry rubber; horrible.

Food is pretty great, service was quick and the waitress was extremely friendly. The state of the union was on tonight ~ they turned it on and I personally enjoyed it (some people weren't too happy and left) but that's fine - more fries for me!

Maybe a nice place for a drink at night, but for a day time trip with the family, not ideal. Everything was sticky, terribly overpriced for the food we received ($7.50 for a kids bowl of Kraft mac and cheese...). Over fried food. Also not a typical sit down restaurant where you are waited on. Not a huge deal but again, not ideal for families. Very dirty. 1 friendly gal working the counter, the other not so much. All in all, probably wouldn't return.

Chicken tenders were seriously some of the best I'd ever had. Glad we found this gem! We were on vacation and happened to come across this place, and what a view from the location too!

When I wanted to pay my tab, the guy who look liked a 45 year old surfer with long blonde curly hair who I believe his name was Scott said " oh I thought you were fine and now you want to pay your tab and leave"
I said " wait a minute. You said you thought I was fine till I decided to leave?"
He said yea.
Then as he put on his reading glasses to give me my tab I said" man, I thought you were fine till you put on those glasses and reminded me of my grandfather

My husband and myself have been here before and the food was good but tonight he ordered the taco salad and a cup of chili. I got the stake dinner that came with a baked potato and salad. His chili came out first while I was waiting for my salad I tried his chili and it was amazing I only took a small bite to begin with because I normally don't like a lot of chili but it was so good it reminded me of something that my grandmother used to make. Everytime he got up to get a refill on drinks I would steal more of it. Then he got his taco salad. I had yet to get any of my food. Had to ask to get my salad was told that they bring it when the stake dinner was done but I rather get it while I wait for the rest of my food to come out so the main dish doesn't get cold while I work on the salad. Either I was starving or that was the best steak I had ever eaten. It was tender cooked perfectly and it was at least an inch thick and took up most of the plate I will definitely be going back. It would have been better had i gotten my salad when my husband got his chili so I could have enjoyed it as well.

Great place for lunch! A delightfully unique choice of sandwhiches with just as delightful choice of sides (soup of the day) and hospitality. Seating area is rough and could use an upgrade but I definatly look forward to returning.

Ive been there alot and it seems like a good place to eat. the staff is freindly and its also closer to my house unlike other resurants like macnamaras or mcdonalds or popeys. I highly recommened going here if you live by it.

The food was fine, the beer selection was fine. It's a dive, nothing special about it except the location.

I go here about once a year to have lunch. Pricey for n.v what you get and in desperate need of new chairs. Unless your a small person. Friendly staff. They are always really NJ ice to my daughter.

Could be a 5 for the younger set on weekends. I like SP&G- super nice staff and local patrons always. It's just a bit too crowded and loud on most Friday and Saturday nights for me because it's difficult to have a conversation. Food has always been delish- (sweet potato fries!) with a good variety of menu items and homestyle specials. (Lori's meatloaf comes to mind!)

Local and the food and drinks and view are worth the drive into Steilacoom

Last year, we came here and had a really rough experience. We decided to give it another shot and we're glad we did. Quick and friendly service, good food, cold beer.

Can be a very busy place, but I grew up in this town, so sit back and relax!
