this place is always a nice place to hang out, the food is good and the staff in great. could use some upgrades for the tables and chairs.

I like how they have a place to eat outside. Great food. Also kid friendly (in the restaurant area) for certain hours of the day.

Food is good. There are specials every day. Great home style cooking if you are far from home. They sell ice cream too! They have an open mic night, a poker night, pool tables and tournaments, and karaoke Fridays and Saturdays. There are tables outside in the front and a family friendly area inside. Large screen TVs and friendly bartenders round out this come-as-you are gem in Steilacoom.

Staff was pleasant. It's a dive joint, so typical atmosphere. Ordered the fish and chips - I wasn't a fan. It was greasy and over battered. I'd probably go for a beer again, but likely not for a meal.

We like our local Pub for its strengths. Friendly atmosphere, TV's with sports, pool tables, reasonable prices, good selection of drinks.

It has a Tavern vibe. I thought it would be more like a bar/restaurant.

We got lunch at Steilacoom Pub & Grill before boarding the ferry to Anderson Island. We paid $110 for 6 meals. We placed our order at 1:20, and received most of it at 2:10 (minus my sandwich, see below).

The chicken strips were greasy and overcooked. The fried chicken was the same. The burger was mediocre at best, and came with mayo and onions, even though it was ordered without either. The forge sandwich was ordered with no tomatoes or onions (due to food allergies) and came with both, rendering it inedible. The veggie sandwich was served on grocery store bread that fell apart. The kids' mac and cheese was Kraft, came with no sides, and was $10. The chili had so much grease floating on it, it looked like a tanker had crashed into it.

They actually forgot to give us the forge sandwich with the rest of our order, requiring us to run back to get it and risk missing the ferry. When my daughter got back there and told them she needed the sandwich we'd paid for, and quickly, the response from the cook was, "Well, I guess you should have planned your trip better".

The only pleasant part of the 6 meals we ordered was the bottled Coke and the onion rings.

If I weren't on the boat for my "poorly planned" trip, I'd demand a refund of my $110. Instead, I'll dispute it with my bank.

The server was nice enough, it just took over 30 minutes to get a sandwich and a beer. ,

Friendly but slow service, OK food. Dive bar, not very quaint, smells like cigarettes, needs a complete interior remodel. Good place for playing pool and getting hammered.

A rustic place, a little run down but pleasant staff and ok food.

I personally was not of fan of the food kids did like the hamburger but the fries were to seasoned for my taste. The service isn't very good for the price of the food and drinks I should not have to serve my own drinks. I wonldnt recommend.

Great service and decent food. They also have icecream but I didn't get any.

For future reference, you place your order at the counter, even if you're eating there and even if they give you a menu and tell you to sit anywhere.
Staff was friendly. Food was, well, it's a pub and grill. I had chicken strips; they weren't great, but the pizza looked pretty good!

Extremely good sandwiches, tea bar depends on what kind of people are hanging out there.

Our large group had just finished finals and we were rowdy and relieved. Our server was so accommodating and dealt really well with our loud giddiness and hootin n' hollerin' after grades posted! Plus delicious food freah off the grill.

My first time there with my lady and I had a real good meal it was not crowded the food tasted very well and plenty.

Basic mom n' pop greasy bar style food. A few vegetarian options. Take some Tums though. Nice bar in back half, but prices are steep. I don't drink, but occasionally get a non alcoholic beer. They only carry Coors non alcoholic...and it's 6 bucks a bottle! I can't imagine what the beers WITH alcohol cost!? I must have been out of the game for too long. Dear God.

Good local place, nice staff, clean atmosphere. Nice outside seating as well.

Food was mediocre. Staff in kitchen and dining room are very slow in their services. The upside is that the hostess was friendly during all my visits.

Great fries burgers are BIG the pub burger so good. Their nachos huge pile of goodness, being a friend too much for a normal health human.

Very expensive tried sandwiches wasnt happy but great customer service wont go back for food though it was horrible

I'm not a bar scene person but this is the only place open in town late at night. I was pleasantly surprised! All the staff are incredibly sweet and the atmosphere was great. Food was great and like that there was an option to sit outside. Annd they have ice cream.

The selection (and price) of beers is the main reason that this IS MY SPOT. Add to that, the pours are generous and the food is above average pub grub. When in Steilacoom,...

I had been looking forward to hitting this place up for awhile now but was a bit disappointed. The folks who worked there were AWESOME though! When you walk in you order your food at the checkout counter and grab your number which was odd to me because the line would form where people were trying to sit. If you would like alcohol the bar is to the back past the pool tables, there was almost no space to order a beer but the bar tender was sweet and friendly. The food and drink were good but the price was a bit much for what you got...guess you paid for the view ;)

Food is good and can enjoy a glass from their bar. On a nice day you can sit outside.

New Year's Eve was here with my daughter and future son-in-law. Awesome crowd, great karaoke, and just a good place to meet good people!

Not your straight forward bar and grill. They have what looks like an ice cream and cafe style seating at the entrance, then transitions to pool tables and a regular pub from there.

Can someone tell me where there s a better steak out there, even without the grilled onions and mushrooms for a stellar price on Friday? Thought so.

We went during the day for the 1st time. Great chicken wings. However the place was freezing cold inside.

Breakfast was good, for a pub.. Nothing fantastic, but a good value. It was a cold morning and the "dining room" wasn't well heated.
But the beer selection is diverse and plentiful and bar food is on point.
The outdoor seating in the summer is awesome with good views and dogs are allowed. We love coming here.

Awful service. Called ahead for food and was told 15 minutes. Went there after 15 minutes and was told it was coming right up. Sat there for 45 more minutes and left.

Enjoyed an excellent view from the patio while drinking a couple beers with my colleagues this evening. Obviously a local institution, this bar offers two pool tables, card tables, a jukebox, ice cream, and a menu. Limited parking on premises.

If your looking for a sandwich or pizza and a beer and a ball game c'mon in...family time only lasts till a certain time then its beer and pool...outside eating is available in a nice neighborhood and setting

Our traditional stop for 7 years for a beer and a snackbefore riding the ferry to our annual campout on Anderson island. Always good service, cold beer, nice selection. Prices a little high, but not prohibitively so. Stop in!

I just love this place for getting a drink before the ferry. Bartenders with attitude.

Accidentally over charged us by adding the last order to our order and didnt catch it. fixed it as soon as it was brought up but still gave the experience a slight bad taste. good food and I like the outdoor space quite a bit. try the burgers.

This place was disgusting... but hey, if you've ever had the desire to eat something that looks like black diarrhea you can order the chilli here. I wish I had a picture of it. The burger looked way undercooked. It was dripping with grease. Perhaps this place is better known for drinks than their food. However for a place that charges sit down restaurant prices you think the food quality would be somewhat decent. This was honestly garbage. We ended up throwing the burger away. Will never recommend or return. But like I said if you just want to drink... it's very difficult to mess that up! Lol

Also want to add another comment because when I uploaded photos i saw their chilli... that's NOT what our chilli looked like. It didnt even have green onions. It had some cheap yellow cheese in a plastic cup and another plastic cup with chopped red onions. Definitely not like in the picture. So.. yeah. Idk. Maybe they had a bad night? Or the pictures are just fake or posted by their friends.

So cool, you can sit and eat and see the water and the snow capped Mountains! The food was out of this world and the staff made us feel at home!

Cool bar, good views, okay selection of beer. Needs better parking is all.

when the 20 something year old server gave extreme.attitude and told her boss she wasn't going to serve my friend, I decided that wojld be the last time we ever step foot in there again. Management is horrible. Service is offensive and i do t recommend anyo e ever go here
