A nice hotel to visit in Luxor. The rooms are medium sized and most of the have a nice nile view.
The staff as usual with Luxur locals are friendly and welcoming.
The room services were nice and the hotel was tidy.
The open buffet was not up to our expected level for the value. There was no much variations in the food.
Overall experience is good. However for the same room price there are much better hotels in Luxor.

Big rooms, nice food, very clean, restaurants options within the hotel. We stayed only one night but wanted to stay longer. Unfortunately it was part of our tour.
The hotel is safe, well located and with friendly staff, check in and out was smooth, all the guest seemed happy and relaxed.

One of the best and finest hotel chain in Luxor .. In terms of privacy and tranquility and reception of guests .A suitable place for organizing concerts and private conferences.

My stay at Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor this time was a total disappointment. I have booked 4 nights hoping to enjoy some relaxation time in the warm sun and enjoy the heated pool, turned out that the pool heating is being put on hold during the low booking times to reduce the costs!

I had a walk at 9 pm by the pool the first day of my arrival, and checked the water temperature with my hands, it was warm about 30 degrees in a weather of 10 degrees, very suitable to swim exactly as we enjoyed the last year. The next morning the water was amazingly 26 degrees in a weather of 22 degrees, very cold I couldn't stand it and neither could my kids!

I spoke to the resident manager "Mr Hesham", he tried to convince me that the heating had been already on all day and that the water is losing heat due to the cold weather! Losing heat in a weather of 22 degrees and not losing heat the night before in a weather of 10 degrees?!

He also promised to work on the problem and make sure the water is suitable the next day, which had not come true!

I had another conversation with him again the next day with the chief engineer by the pool, they both tried to convince me that the water was suitable and that 26 is the standard average in all 5 star hotels during this time of the year!

During the conversation the chief engineer stated: "We have already spent 2000 pounds today on the heating fuel" !

Couple of other foreign guests were silently complaining about the water temperature!

We were also served low-quality "Commercial" feteer in the breakfast, instead of the fresh in-house baked feteer we were served last year....

The advertised free WIFI in local areas is actually a very low 64K poor WIFI connection that only picks up within the bar area!

If you are a frequent visitor to this hotel, you will notice many signs here and there that indicate reduction in budget and lower service level.

The lack of professionalism at the managerial level is causing a great deal of disappointment to the loyal guests of this hotel, I spoke with many frequent guests who expressed disappointment and frustration!

I got very disappointed because my stay has already been ruined, and I insisted on amending my booking to only 3 nights at the last minute, I didn't want to spend a dime in this hotel anymore and will never book a Steigenberger anywhere in Egypt anymore!

To the managers and owners of this hotel: If you are complaining of very low booking levels, you can still make good money by keeping your high standard and cater to Egyptians! But if you unprofessionally choose to reduce your budget and standard, you will lose both Egyptians and Foreigners!

Many thanks to all low level employees and staff who tried hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible specially Ahmed and Amr at the reception!

Wonderful hotel in Luxor overlooking the Nile and its prices are suitable

A hotel at the level that you can expect from this chain. However, therefore also a bit clinical. Different restaurants of good quality, but expensive for Luxor. Beautiful view of the Nile and the west bank. Certainly not a bad choice when visiting Luxor.

Amazing view of Nile river from room balcony. Thai and italian restaurants in the hotel are also very nice.

It has a great location with views of the Nile and the sunset over the Valley of the Kings.
If you are tired of local cuisine, it may be a good choice, as the hotel's restaurant serves high-quality cuisine, both Thai and Italian.

Hotel 5 stars, located on the banks of the Nile, 1 km from Luxor temple, multiple restaurants, swimming pool etc but without free wifi in the rooms, only in the Hall, rooms with carpet and decoration 90s. (Needs an update).

The Steigenberger is an outstanding hotel in Luxor. The service is excellent, the rooms spacious and well laid out. The views of the Nile, City or Pool Courtyard is a pleasure. It offers full services for every need. The management and staff are helpful and courteous. The courtyard, restaurants and bars are a delightful retreat.

The place of the best possible places where you enjoy

Such a grand hotel! The interior harkens back to a grand age of luxurious travel. Every so slightly Orientalist, the hotel offers a complete tourism experience. Try to get the rooms with a Nike view - the quiet times of sunrise and sunset provide a balm to the soul. Good selection of restaurants and a nice breakfast buffet. The kids loved the pool, which was a good temperature. The travel agency is overpriced so try other connections to get tours of the temples and tombs. However, by all means - consider staying here

Azay Mavish Wi-Fi Free? And even the free Wi-Fi in the reception feels that it is 512 KB and does not open any net, and I mean, I ask for a bathroom slipper to tell me it was in it !! A totally inappropriate need on behalf of Steigenberger.

Nice view over the Nile, the rooms are large and very clean and large. Food is excellent with multiple options. Staff are helpful and friendly. Easy to find transportation near the hotel.
