I really liked the hotel. The location is on a super long and very central. The service is super friendly. I really liked the food. Looking forward to the next time.

Interior a bit out of fashion, but the location can't be beat. I can't rate breakfast as we always have breakfast in the Petit Delice around the corner. You can't beat location.

Neat and well maintained. Good service. Free pool and loungers. Good complementary offers of the SPA. Service staff makes it difficult at breakfast but the tables in time to re-cover and to provide the guests, if there is a lot of rush. The free use of public transport is a bonus.

We had the deluxe room to the quiet courtyard. Personally, the mattresses were too soft.

We experience the first disappointment as soon as we enter the room: small room, double bed in the best case queen-size, mini bathroom with steps - and a so-called coffee and tea station. This includes a small kettle, two tea bags, two sachets of instant coffee and two white paints for the coffee. That has to be enough for two days, because there is no room service on Saturday. (Every middle-class hotel in the USA has a coffee machine, mostly from Keurig. But at the Steigenberger we have to make do with inedible instant coffee.)

After the first night we wake up with a poor sleep. No wonder if two tall (but slender) adults have to sleep in a narrow bed. Because of Corona there is supposedly no buffet. Bread rolls, bread and toppings are laboriously heaved onto the plates by waiters. You take the rest to yourself. First of all, some guests pick up almost all the jars with jam, yoghurt pots, etc. in order to check the contents. The font is usually really very small. But is that hygienic? The breakfast is unimaginative and offers little choice. Most of the guests wear masks in the hotel, but some don't. Strange.

The Steigenberger exudes the slightly dusty charm of times long past. We don't recommend it.

Great hotel, super nice, attentive staff. City location is perfect. Room very clean and spacious, you can just feel good. Spa area ideal for relaxing. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired.

Class room and spa area, the pool is also suitable for children. Due to the miserable WLAN I can not give 5 stars. Had it needed for professional purposes.

Strategic starting point for visiting beautiful Berlin, Hotel located in a central and elegant area close to public services, elegant hotel with beautiful SPA and indoor swimming pool. Comera very clean and comfortable with good beds. Enjoyed the free tickets to get around freely on all public transport in Berlin, including the last day transfer to get to the airport. Beautiful stay for a romantic getaway done in December. Only 2 notes .....
1 The continuous demagnetization of the electronic keys to enter the room (which was immediately resolved several times by the reception)
2 In the smoking room the ashtrays were always dirty and full for hours and hours, nobody came to empty them, which is unforgivable for a 5-star hotel .... But beyond these drawbacks, the hotel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Be aware there are two of them in Berlin, with irrelevant names

I am always happy to stay at this hotel in City West. The only shortcoming this time was the rat in the park opposite. But then the Steigenberger can not help it.

The ambience, the staff, the location - all top! Luckily I had a very good offer for the price and thus a very lucrative bargain! In addition to my booking I received at the reception a public transport ticket for the period of my stay in Berlin.

The rooms were clean, bright and the beds very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful and could answer any of my questions.

I recommend this hotel to all of you as long as the price does not skyrocket of course! ;-)

Nice Hotel in Berlin city next to KDW and some other popular spots. Clean rooms. Missed some trendy style. Nevertheless good hotel to stay. Enjoy

One of the beast place to stay in Berlin. Very well connected with the metro service and also via bus. The breakfast was awesome with lots of different food options.

This hotel has an absolute top location: as you would expect from Steigenberger hotels: 1a service, very clean, good rooms, friendly staff at a reasonable price. We will be back.

Great hotel, the rooms are immaculate and the staff is average friendly. The hotel is also in a very good location and connection. However, it is difficult to get a place to have breakfast. On 2 out of 3 days we had to wait for a free seat.
In addition, the prices for the hotel's own parking garage are totally overpriced in my eyes at 25 euros per day.

Something negative, the cleanliness in the bathroom ...
But, I would always book a room in this hotel!

We had our stay at the time of Corona. Overall we were satisfied, except for a few shortcomings: Hygiene standards were observed in the lobby - unfortunately the same does not apply to the hotel room. When we came in for the first time, we discovered an empty Coke bottle under the bed and a thick brown (Coke?) Stain on the "freshly" made bed. After a friendly tip at the front desk, the bottle was removed - but the duvet cover remained the same. The soap in the bathroom was empty and also not refilled. In the fitness area, which was used 3 times, staff was unfortunately never present. It's a shame, because not all guests behaved "hygienically".
There are pluses at breakfast. The staff was very friendly and always met the needs of the guests. The buffet, which was a bit restricted due to the current situation, was plentiful and delicious.

Is not worth the price. Rude, rusty bathtub, weaned furniture.

UPDATE2020: Unfortunately this time had a room in which the curtain cannot be completely pulled in front of the window. It didn't really bother me, but if you are a bit sensitive you will certainly complain about it.

Internet connection not working, though I tried with 3 different devices. WLAN signal low, lost half an hour in trying to find a spot in the room with better signal. Lousy answer from the reception and no-assistance. As I am here for business, I will avoid this hotel in the future.

Top quality hotel, right at the main Train station so easily accessible. Walk the streets at night....it is an amazing place. Hotel ticked all the boxes and stay was pleasant.
