Steigenberger Aqua Magic Resort Review

Amazing service & staff! Wonderful hotel with an amazing aqua park! We are really enjoying our time. The lunch is just a little messed up but it's an amazing hotel!

Great hotel and super nice staff. Especially net we found Aylin the guest service made. One was asked if everything meets the wishes and what can be improved.

Nice resort, nice and close to the airport (which doesn't bother you at all). The resort is close to the sea where you can easily walk to via the other Steigenberger hotel. Food is a bit simple unfortunately and not a lot of choice. The resort is also not very spacious, so there is soon shade and so you really have to reserve a bed in the morning. This makes the entertainment audible everywhere, which is sometimes very loud. Service is ok. Family rooms are nice and spacious.

Very crouded and noisy, no enough pools and they were not cleaned well.

The +:
Large recent hotel complex, functional and secure.
Large fully equipped room, fridge, tv, terrace and balcony, lifts.
lots of maintenance staff.
Bathing:
Several pools for all tastes from the smallest to the largest, with or without activity, calm, zen (on the roof of the hotel) or lively (the dolphins) or the batteau.
Access to the sea via a private road that runs alongside the other hotel or electric carts take you. Well equipped beach, including food and drink all day. Bcp of fish to see, take your mask and snorkel !.

The -: the food, there is no more French cuisine to taste. We all had gastric disturbances, whatever the hotel (discussion on the plane with other travelers). You have to take local medicines, those from France are not suitable.

Perfect family hotel, friendly staff, great beach, gladly again

This is an international hotel with a design and an Egyptian souk during the days of Mahrousa

I just came back from there yesterday,room was great,pool was good,aqua was great,staff was very friendly,I have some notes,why the beach is separated from aldau's beach inspite of the same services and same hotel. if I take anything from the aldau,I pay for it!!!.and if I wouldlike to make reservation in one of the restaurants,I have to stay 5 nights at least!!! While when i was in some other 5satrs hotels i was able to make reservation in the restaurants whatever how many nights i stayed.when i tryied to extend another night,reception informed me that they are fully booked but unfortunately when i checked the website of the hotel,i found empty rooms.so i wonder about this conflict.the main restaurant was v.good with great food variety.otherwise everything was perfect.i will repeat this vacation again but after somebody replying the previous notes I mentioned.

There are no complaints about the hotel. I did not like the Mamsha district itself. Far from transport, from the city. No noise, fuss, people, hustle. Although for some it may be a plus, not a minus.

I'm currently on site. It's all great here. Just keep in mind that you are in Egypt and you can not expect the standards of Europe here. Am here with my little daughter 3 years old. Great children's pool. Food is great and we have no problems with diarrhea here. I can only recommend it 100%

1. Main restaurant: The smell in this was borderline for days (after vomit) and makes a meal inedible. The food itself is unfortunately only third class (the only fruit dessert was apples). Employees run around recklessly and you have to be very careful that the children are not run over by them; as well as evade yourself, because they certainly do not stop.
The person with the dirty mop gives everything else but an impression of cleanliness.
2. Employees almost force their service on, only to ask endlessly whether everything is ok. Tip is wrested from you.
3. However, general service quality and customer service is hardly pronounced.
4. Reception seems very chaotic. The employees do everything in their power to get a tip from you. Correspondingly long queues are formed and we have seen several customers become loud.

The whole area, as well as the rooms are very good, and you can switch off a bit. The slides (be careful, only from a height of 120cm) and the pool area (partially heated), as well as the beach (5-10min), are great.

Great holiday, unfortunately the hotel is a bit run down, in many places it is dirty and broken

Not really mine. Hotel is overrated. Cleanliness is mediocre. Air conditioning very loud - you have to turn it off at night if you want to sleep.

Thousands of guests, one main restaurant where you can have breakfast. Too crowded. Often you look for a seat for up to 10 minutes - especially if you want to sit together with a family / group. The food is OK. Almost everyone in the group (we were 15 people) had stomach problems (diarrhea) at some point during their stay.

Pool area is very nice but the beach is small and ugly. If you just want to stay in the pool area, it's okay, but you don't need to book a vacation by the sea.

Internet WiFi - a catastrophe! Not even whatsapp messages are sent properly (often the message hangs for up to a quarter of an hour). Streaming (Youtube etc.) doesn't work at all.

In addition to the main restaurant, there are 3 others where you can have lunch and dinner. Sky restaurant is awesome.

Very lovely hotel, with friendly staff ... Perfect for a relaxing and fun vacation . I definitely recomend it to anyone who plans to go to Hurghada

Exceeded all expectations. Very well structured hotel, friendly staff, high quality material in the rooms and above all very good and delicious food. The Italian restaurant right near the slide and pools is excellent. Excellent staff Peter as well as Ahmed and everyone else.

The possibility of having meals in different restaurants (4 in total) brings a lot of variety to the already very varied kitchen of the hotel. The hotel manager is also very friendly and available for a good conversation at all times. Absolute recommendation! We will be back!

We have been there for the second time and we love this hotel so much that we come sometime a 3 times. Delicious food, great facility, we are just happy in this facility

We decided to visit Aqua Magic again this year, this time with my grown-up kids .
Since we were revisiting we get free transfer from airport to hotel. Even thou we were delayed the transport where waiting for us, checking flight status every hour, and we felt welcome right away.
This year tree bars/restaurant's really stud out;
- Magic Sky Bar Here Sam and Daniel really made us feel welcome and helped us thru the arts of Shisha smoking
- Magic Blue Bar On the private beach this little bar where the center of our holiday in the day time. We had lunch here almost every day, a simple menu of grill, bread, fries and pizza, but really what we needed. For the service on the beach Micael really made our day! He supplied just the right amount of attention for us, perfect service!!
- Magic Seasons a must try! This is the only restaurant that serves oriental foods. Nice buffet with oriental specialties and the most succulent, on table, served grill plate ever! All you can eat
In general, the food where 5 of 5 this year, the best we had the 4 times we have been here. Room service where always polite and helpful, decorating our room with towel animals.

Wonderful hotel, everything is fine, Cororna precautions are perfect, the treatment is wonderful and the smile does not leave everyone. The bars are multiple and it offers you all the drinks. Medium-level restaurants The swimming pools are wonderful The sea is wonderful in the opposite village. Transfer is via golf cars and there is a restaurant and bar on the sea

It was a wonderful holiday. Great: 9 pools. One on the roof terrace - great. Food i.O. Service excellent. Large well-kept facility. Animation unobtrusive. Good shows. For kids in a pool big pirate ship with lots of water games.

Are currently on site. Super nice here. It is our fifth time and it gets better every time. The staff is very nice and tries hard to speak German. Hygiene is very respected and the food tastes awesome. The deaths have nothing to do with the hotel. We will gladly come back.

Staff friendly, room okay.
In terms of health, it was a single catastrophe there. I had problems for weeks after this vacation.
Eating was cruel. Everything is bland, disgustingly tepid and always a disgusting smell of cleaning products.
The stars really only deserved the service staff, who were really very attentive and helpful.
The gentleman at the front desk excluded, we owed him, due to a misinformation, that we only had this peculiar buffet.

Been to this beautiful hotel around June. Price quality you deserve more than a 10. Really! everywhere you were served super well. Even when you were lying by the pool someone came several times a day to ask if you wanted anything.
Special thanks to Ahmed Mohamed who was at the Adult pool Relax Bar during our stay. Truly I have never had such a hospitable server at a resort. Very hospitable and by paying close attention every day knew exactly what kind of drink I had at what time. 10/10.

Food was also very good for buffet style food. Sure the food is better at the a la carte restaurants, but for buffet food it was very good. Food well cooked and warm, when a container was empty, new food was put in immediately. Even when the restaurant was packed the waiters tried to find you a table.

The pools were clean, and very entertaining. We especially loved the "Lazy River". You grab a tire and can easily float through the rapids for 15 minutes. You just go for a walk around the hotel.

The bar on the 6th floor is also recommended. In the evening you can enjoy a drink here with a view.

Animation does its best every day and the evening shows are okay. Often there are people on stage who do not belong to the hotel, these were okay. Sometimes the own animation team was there with a show, but we found that disappointing. That is actually the only downside of the hotel. But if that's it. Actually you score an 11 out of 10 in terms of price quality. Really had a great holiday.

Staff is amazing. The Room (Club Suit Beach Front View) were unbelievably breathtaking.

An excellent place for families, great hospitality, crystal clean in every aspect, bedrooms, swiming pools, a variety of quisins east and west, great entertainment, cold and heated pools, in short everything you dream of to make a perfect holiday. I forgot the marine sports you name it, all are there.

Very nice hotel. Helpful staff and very nice water activities on pools. It only needs some upgrade and order in food section. Try it.

We would like to say thank you to the great team. AGAIN (2nd visit within 9 months) we had a wonderful time. Everybody is friendly, the food is great and the beautiful Suite more than comfortable and clean. I would like to mention all the names of the employees, but it would be to long. We would like to say especially thank you to Magdy from the restaurant, but also the front office team (Rames), the recreation and the animation team (Haris...) and the Spa Team (Narmi). As discussed with the Assistant Executive Director - NO COMPLAINTS!!! We will be back soon (received already the offer - tx for the fast reply) and looking forward enjoying this wonderful hotel "Aqua Magic".

Hi, me and my wife stayed at the aqua magic 2years ago today and at the time it would be my first holiday abroad and my first ever flight barring in mind I was 51 years old,we were so pleased to have chosen the aqua for our holiday two weeks of bliss friendly staff nice room and lovely sunshine,it was a big deal for me to travel such a long way from the Isle of Wight England but thank you for the great memories

The view of the beach is amazing the food was delicious there are so many activities on the beach and the aqua park was so fun

An upscale hotel that really deserves five stars and all the staff are very professional in working to satisfy the guests and guests
The hotel is suitable for groups, families and children, as well as for a wedding holiday

The plant of the Steigenberger Aqua Magic is very beautiful.
The room is very large, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and the staff was very friendly and clean. Animation like aquagymnastic, football cones and tomorrow gymnastic are in great demand here.
The sauna area in the Vista Spa does not get 5 stars that are more like 3 stars as they are not that good. Steam bath, well if a good steam bath it would not smell so unpleasant (musty smell).
Otherwise everything was fine.
Food very good.
All inclusive are all drinks.
I would always like to come here.

Far from 5 star hotel....rooms are dirty and falling apart

Once and never again Steigenberger! 9 people out of 12 were ill due to infections (from the pool water) flew home. Other incidents (very rude staff in the dining room were probably overwhelmed with a family of 12, tables in the main hall were uniformly very neglected and smeared with food leftovers, in the entire club area was all waste Around the drinking cup to ice cream cone paper, many deffekte sun loungers at each pool area etc. etc. Definitely a vermiester vacation for a lot of money, 9 times in Hurghada but I have never experienced such a family club. Unfortunately for such a clubanlage.Ich would as a first step change management.
