Attended a conference here last week. The hotel food that was catered for our breakfasts and lunches was outstanding. Seriously some of the best meals I've had. The staff were extremely welcoming and would go out of their way if I needed help with anything. Thank you Sheraton!

I arrived in Dallas for a work conference and some personal time. I was looking for a great hotel that I could trust in a city I did not know and had never been to before. I trusted two brands, Sheraton and the other one, which starts with an M. I went with the Sheraton, as I was trying to stay loyal and increase my SPG points. I booked a room for Friday 4/15 and Saturday 4/16, checking out on Sunday 4/17. I was booked into room #1401, East tower. The lobby is very, very deceiving, because as soon as you get off the elevator, you think you have gone back in time by about 20-30 years. The hotel hallways are dark, with out of date color pallets, horrible lighting, and oak looking room doors(both main and interior). The room right away looked like a side of the highway, truck stop like room. Not something I was expecting for the rate I was paying, about $300 a night. I could list all of the problems but you can see from my pictures I plan to attach to this review, that the room is beyond horrible. Here is a short list of issues I found, before I stopped out of disgust, writing the list and checked out of the room and demanded another room(which ended up not being much better). Old screw holes in walls, broken electrical outlets, mold and mildew in bathroom, light switch for bathroom is by main room door, commercial grade loud toilet, peeling/coming up carpet, 4-5 smoke detectors, main sector covered in factory plastic so not functioning, countertop edges not caulked so you could drop jewelry down the holes, peeling laminate and air grills coming up.....and so on. One very concerning item, though there are many, is that the main smoke detector in the room, still had its factory plastic cover over the smoke sensor, leaving it non-functioning, as in, should a fire occur, and I was asleep, I might be toast .

I cannot honestly give this facility 5 stars because I was not an overnight guest. I came for a seminar. Now....the four stars are for the excellent service we received from the second we stepped into Sheraton ground. It is also for the clean and kept environment....everything was clean...bathrooms included. From the experience I had just being a four hour guest, I would bet that staying here would be just as excellent.

A very nice hotel in the center of Dallas. Conveniently located, big rooms, friendly staff. We held a large conference (>1,000) people and the meeting facilities, food and service were great.

We stayed at this hotel back in August and the room thermostat said 72; however, it never got above 60 degrees....pretty cold when taking a shower and the a/c never cut off. 4 months or so go by and we give them a second chance. Go to the room (a completely different room from the August visit) and the same thing occurred. What's wrong with these people??? extreme hot or extreme cold is not acceptable in a hotel. Never again in the Dallas Sheraton downtown on Olive!!!

The location was good. Only issue I had was they had the parking garage to the convention center closed on the main day off the event which made finding parking very difficult. Other than that the Sheraton was very accommodating

Best hotel pillows I've ever experienced. And I'm not being flippant. The majority of ones time in a hotel room is spent in contact with one or more pillows, and these were simply fantastic.

Nice room in good shape. Excellent location where you can walk right into Deep Ellum for great food, beer, and entertainment. The staff was very nice and the bar Draft has a solid collection of craft brews.

I was only at the Sheraton for about 8 hours for a conference, but it was a great venue. There was plenty of room even though it was a full house, so we didn't have to climb over strangers to get to an empty seat or anything. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and parking was super convenient (but admittedly, I'll probably check to see if there's a cheaper lot nearby next time).

I was at the Sheraton for a work conference and everything was well organized and clean. The hotel staff went around to make sure we had everything we needed for the event to run smoothly and came around every so often to check on us. Overall, great place for a conference and I'm hoping to experience the Sheraton as a hotel guest in the future.

Right across the street from the Pearl Dart Station. The Hotel is very clean, rooms are comfortable and stocked with starbucks coffee and bottled water, bathrooms are spotless. My only dislike was not being able to find my way to my room and had to return to the desk for help.

We arrived at hotel at 12:45 and checked in at the front desk. We were told that we would get a phone call/text when the room was ready. So at 4, we checked at front desk concerning our room, and said it wasn't ready. We were to attend an awards dinner at 7-7:30.So at 630 we demanded we get a room and finally they came up with a room for us. Was a very long day. Got up at 3:45 to catch flight and the hotel experience really ruined our first day in Dallas.

Great experience with check in despite the lobby undergoing renovations. Staff was friendly and attentive. Location is close to restaurants and bars. Attended a conference here and the rooms were a bit cool but otherwise great.

As the guest of an exhibitor at the Marvelous NYE ComiCon we had a great time, except on the last day. We left the hotel before midnight on NYE, so not sure what happened after, but on New Year's Day the Sheraton Staff attitude changed drastically. Suddenly, they required to "hold" our credit card before we could even order a coke or a sandwich. When we asked why we were being treated as criminals, they said this is what they always did. NOT TRUE as this was not required anytime the 3 days prior. When 1 member of our party ordered a beer, they sent security to our table to acquire her credit card before receiving her drink. No one had been drinking prior and we had a 2 month infant at our table. Was a security guard necessary? Really? Sheraton Dallas was a horrible customer service experience!!! I've NEVER been required to present my credit card for "hold" before ordering or receiving food or drink at ANY establishment. I always thought well of Sheraton, until now!

It is a nice hotel and is a great experience. This trip they were remodeling and the doors to the rooms on the south tower slam shut very hard with about the same force as someone with two hands slamming it. This is very startling when you are asleep and there are guests arriving late.
