Went to celebrate for my birthday just nice and festive the drinks at the bar named the living room were awesome the only drawback is they need a better DJ because on Saturday nights in the past made this the spot to be.

The hotel was pretty nice. The rooms were nice and had a nice shower. The pool could have been better. The pool had a great view but garbage can was overflowing so the wind kept blowing garbage into the pool. The pool bar prices were terrible $5 for a cup of soda. The bar downstairs had decent prices on alcohol but our waitress wasn't the friendliest nor attentive. All in all I would stay again.

If I could give this place a 10 star review, I would do so in a heartbeat. I enjoyed my time here while I been away from home. The service was great and my window view was spectacular. I will miss this place but glad to be going back home to SA and get ready to go back to work.

Great hotel and can't beat the location next door (across the street) from the American Airlines Arena. Cute shops and eating places within walking distance makes this a place for me to stay again when in Dallas in the downtown area.

Never before have I received such warm, welcoming service from a hotel, no matter how fancy, boutuique-ish, or famous. This team is first rate. The hotel is also absolutely gorgeous, in a great location, and exceedingly comfortable.

The gym and pool rock, as do the rooms. I am DYING to visit again.

Seriously. Either Marriott is tanking the W brand or this specific location is a disaster. The beds are cement slabs, the TV has been out of service for over 24 hours, they double-book rooms (someone almost walked into my room while I was sleeping and would have had I not secured to hook-lock at the top of the door). The food is cafeteria style the customer service is marginal at best. This place needs to step it up.

Biggest disappointment you could ever expect. This horrible excuse for an establishment had the gall to throw out an entire bachelorette party full of active duty military personnel and family! We had guest fly in from all over the world to celebrate this very special occasion only to be kicked out $900+ and 2 hours later with not even so much as a WARNING. "Management" and i'm using that term VERY loosely, were beyond incompetent and unable to reason or reconcile with the host of the party. We weren't belligerent but clearly we were drinking...it was already stated that it was a wedding celebration. The hotel knew this when they agreed to take our money. These bastards called a squadron for 4 cop cars and 8 police officers to escort a group of ladies out of the hotel. This happened because the establishment refused to provide us with a copy of our contract stating the number of guests we could have in the room. Mind you we had a double room suite with 2 different exits in the even of a fire. The whole reason we got such an expensive room was to accommodate for the fire regulations!! As I said before this was a group of active duty military, nobody there was looking for trouble and yet we were kicked out and treated like thugs or prostitutes. Luckily we had family that was able to pick us up. Otherwise all of our guest who flew in from across the world would have been left out in the cold. The absolute WORST experience i've ever had with a hotel SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO THE MARRIOT!!

The amazing location, excellent amenities, and service all make a stay here worth it. I did find the rooms to be nice, if a bit noisy. Could hear every cough and such in the hall and rooms adjacent to mine.

Not impressed. Not the worst Marriott, but for price and location I expected way more. If you want "trendy" decor over comfort and utility, this is the place for you. Beds were rock hard. Lobby was so dim and dark with cliche "generic hip music beats" in the background, I almost tripped over a toddler wandering around. There is no sundry shop! This is supposed to be a luxury full service hotel! No hotel parking! Third party across the street with zero validation or ability to pay on room tab. On top of it the room service menu stunk (for humans), like Kale Cesar salad.. who does that? But to keep in line with hipster vibe, they had a delicious menu for pets! Yes, there was a $36 filet on the PET menu. Marriott, you're drunk, go home.

Took my wife to the Eric Church concert on 04-12-19. Stayed here for the night. While she was getting ready fixing here hair in the hotel room I went down to the bar and had 1 Miller light and then closed out my tab. When I go to check out the next morning there's a charge of $161.00 from the bar I said that's not my charge I explained I had 1 miller light and was charged $5.00 and paid it and walked out. She said she would remove the charge well she didn't I called up there and spoke with Oliver and he wouldn't let me speak to a manager so I had to contact corporate. Also the rooms are small and the towels stink like dirty laundry

Best hotel for AA Center. Room is spacious but dated. Air works great. Spa is very nice and 33rd floor ballroom back room is amazing views and great place to host parties or soecial events. Pool may be nice, but wind keep me from trying that. Exercise room had lots of equipment and great views. Think this is now my #1 Marriot to stay in for AA center events. Only thing missing is hot tub, but this is Dallas and usually like a hot tub outside anyway.

A friend of mine came here to stay from Los Angeles and they absolutely loved it... Rooms were nice and clean and very elegant. But its extremely crowded and packed on the weekends. Like they turn it into a nightclub on the weekends and it just gets a little rowdy. I dont really expect that from a nice hotel like the W.

They had someone in our suite that overstayed their checkout when we came to check in at 3. So they comped all of our food and drinks at Cook Hall Gastropub. Even though we were irritated at first by the inconvenience the desk manager was great and took great care of us.

The W always goes above and beyond and this one did not disappoint. I booked our stay for my husband's 30th birthday and after not receiving a refund on a cancel and rebooking (after 3 times of calling the hotel), they very nicely upgraded us to a suite upon our arrival! We were very impressed with the large patio/balcony and the usual W Bliss Spa products. I had ordered a bottle of champagne for our room, but the hotel mixed up and gave us another room's (very expensive) champagne and strawberries. After calling them to alert them of the mistake, they told us to just keep it and enjoy. Their beds are some of the most comfortable that I've stayed in. One bathroom even had a rainforest shower head which is our favorite kind. I got a great deal booking this online for under $200 a night! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Dallas.

Let me start with the view from our 10th floor corner room was amazing!!!! We were directly across from American Airlines
We chose early check in, good thing we called ahead, we were informed we could not check in early so .... we waited until slightly after 3:00. Again we were told we could not check in as the current occupants had not left. GANNON was an absolute Superstar. He personally helped in preparing the room, sent us to the bar for free refreshments. He did a wonderful job of taking care of us. I felt he genuinely cared about our situation. He was very professional and polite, we never felt like we were being slighted or an imposition. Our room was ready just before 5:00.
Loved the location of the hotel, walking distance to many attractions and restaurant's.
On the down side we were charged for a rollaway bed(which we never requested), also things from the mini bar(assuming they mean fridge) we took nothing from the fridge.
Things to improve: Be clear in everything, such as how, when, where do you get your free breakfast, we ordered in room and it was not free.
Be sure you are charging your patrons the correct amount. I have received 3 separate invoices. Train your employees(All) on company policy and to politely make customers aware when they might incur extra charges. Knowledge is power. The more informed your patrons are the less they brother your staff. At least that's how it should work
All in all we totally enjoyed our stay, save the billing issues
Thanks Have A Great Day !!!

Location is great but customer service is terrible! We arrived at 4pm and had to wait an hour to check into our room. The next morning after ordering room service, we waited an hour and a half, then called in to be told our order was never entered. Taylor was the gentlemen supposed to be helping us, but instead he did not apologize for the error nor offer to make things right. Will not be returning .

Nice location but the staff is a joke. The price you pay for the TINY room is not worth it. You re better off taking a trip down to the Aloft or The Statler. Where you would at least receive the room that you book and reserve. Unlike the W, on Victory. I along with three other parties reserved rooms only to check in to find ourselves in another room. With no explanation and now a three week run around with Wayne.Mcinnis@marriott.com via email. I wish I could leave 0 Stars for the horrible Sweet 16 experience we had at the hands of the W. If you re looking for the perfect weekend, don t book here!

Tried to go to Cook Hall at 10:00 and they "weren't serving drinks." Directed me to lobby bar. Asked for draft beer menu and she told me to go to Cook Hall. Not blaming the bartenders here but what restaurant stops serving drinks at 10 and get better beer at your lobby bar

Check in was ok, wasn't friendly, but wasn't rude either. The hotel itself is beautiful but lacks a "welcome, enjoy" feel. The bed was decent, the shower was a good size but didn't seem like it had been thoroughly cleaned. I personally would rather stay at the Omni instead.

The suite was lovely, the view was incredible especially because a Maverick's game was going on at the American Airlines Center right across the street from us. The room was super clean, spacious and well decorated. The staff was also nice and super helpful. Overall a great experience

I have to say this place was a big disappointment for the price. Issues:
1. $35/d parking with no self-parking options
2. Big pool parties of non-guests all day Saturday. We were hassled for not having wrist bands and not allowed to bring pre-purchased beers to the pool bc there was a DJ playing loud music and a bunch of 20s partying. Not family friendly. Not fun. Very crowded.
3. The room we had was not great. Lots of cheap finishes and a mini-fridge completely packed with beverages...what s the point of a mini fridge if you can t use it???
4. Rude door guys who just stand around and chat
5. Not knowledgeable concierges

Experienced getting stuck in an elevator today. All the electricity, including the emergency button and the call button, completely went out. Fortunately, after some time the elevator began to slowly make its way to the bottom floor and we were eventually able to exit. We reported the problem to the lobby staff, and they literally did nothing! They didn't even say, "Sorry!"
Being stuck in an elevator has been one of my recurring nightmares since I was 5! Needless to say, I am going to be taking the stairs and not staying here again!

Let me just say our waiter was excellent, very attentive, friendly, overall great service. The food however was another matter. The truffle mac and cheese was excellent and completely worth the price. Personally I had the pulled pork sliders and was not impressed. The Buns were hard and crunchy but not in the toasted way. The pulled pork and coleslaw were average, it did not justify the price. The Fry's as well we're average.
