They were very kind. And they gave us a room where we could see the city.
They were very kind. And they gave us a room where we could see the city.
Finding the room was a task!! 4 adults stayed in a suite ($300.00 a night) but only 2 complimentary breakfast AND the a.c. didn't work in one part of the suite. Staff was friendly
very nice convention center. lots of parking for a decent price.
The rooms have some issues. The floors are uneven and feel like the foundation is cracking underneath them. The furniture looks worn out and water damaged. There are also areas in the bathroom it looks like they were under construction or had water damage. The lobby and other areas are very nice and updated. However, their rooms could use some maintenance.
Today I went to the Sheraton Inn for a job interview and now I'm waiting to hear from the recruiter.
Nice but room small nice view and in a good location
Service is good. A lot of renovation work going on right now so areas are inaccessible and some noise too. But overall good.
Not the best experience. No fridge in the room, so we had to request one from the front desk. Also had to pay a ridiculous parking fee in addition to the room fee
Avoid this place. I had to beg to get my room clean. Other than the manager, Shawn, and the concierge, the people were rude and uncaring. The food is awful. The prices are outrageous. I was there for 4 days for a conference. I doubt my company will ever go back. I certainly won't.
Within walking distance to a number of places. There was a conference there but it didn't feel crowded. We had drinks at the bar and the bartender was very attentive.
Can't believe it was $22 plus tax for valet for the National Baptist convention on a Monday night, they didn't tell us until we went to pick up our car
Wonderful facility, clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place for a meeting!
I have been staying weekly at the sheraton for a year now. Nice rooms, great gym and best of all the awesome staff. Food Service is a bit slow however...
Our stay at the Sheraton was quite pleasant. It is fairly easy to reach off the interstate, and has been kept up to date, despite it being an older building. The view was quite nice from our room, looking east over Dallas. There is a rooftop pool on the fourth floor, and an expansive workout area. There is a DART station conveniently located if you are using it to get around. I would say the biggest knocks would be expensive parking and the fact that there is not a lot immediately around it.
Clean and near a lot of dinner options. Cannot ask for much more.
The bar had a great service. The burgers tasted great.
Just checked in, but great hotel so far! Very nice & courteous staff, comfortable room, and good amenities. My traveling buddy Leo the Lion is taking in the view.
Massive conference center hotel in a great location midtown. The food at the restaurants was very good. Large consiere lounge with very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice fitness center. Large with plenty of equipment. The pool is entirely inadequate as it relates to the size of the property. The chairs fill up quick and is borderline useless.
it was the most expensive and worst stay ever. Too much negative to list. Stick with the Marriot.
We had reservations to stay during market. We had a medical emergency and had to cancel our trip. Sheraton cancelled our reservations but then kept my first night stay $150.00. Never again Sheraton.
Great venue space they have a ballroom you can reserve at the top of the building with great views of downtown and also have spacious suites.
I went there for lunch. Great service and friendly staffs.
Excellent service. Nice room with a great view of downtown Dallas. Excellent food (both through room service and at the restaurant). We also enjoyed drinks at the bar which made for a relaxing evening. The staff was courteous and helpful. Also the downtown location is ideal with a light rail stop right at the door. Excellent. We will come back in the future.
The best job in the world YOU never work a day in your life when you love n enjoy doing what you do
Terrible service!! They closed the hotel parking and made us park across the street for $40. The hotel refused to reimburse us.
Room was great, valet parking was great, food was awesome.
Very surprised that this is a Sheraton. Not like any I have started at before, this place is like a Holiday Inn. My room has patched leaks, staff are unprofessional, and valet is always backed up. If I had a choice would not stay here again. The prices resemble a great hotel but the service is horrible.
Great WiFi and outstanding concierge. Also very convenient within public transit.
The room is great, it's all very nice. Paying extra for parking is the only major complaint, it's a lot extra.
Older hotel but seemingly updated a few years ago. Staff was quite accommodating and friendly which was a plus. I normally do not frequent Sheraton hotels (more of a Westin + SPG member type) but was pleasantly surprised. Stayed on club level and staff was amazing! Some minor issues with bedding (stains), drawer stains, and missing toiletries, otherwise clean room. I stayed here for business so quite convenient. The view was superb.
I enjoyed the anime convention there. It was well organised.
Housekeeping didn't replenish the toiletries and we had 4 people in 1 room and there was a seperate up charge for parking, an in room refrigerator and microwave. For the $185 per night cost you would think these things would be included.
Great hotel. Nice rooms from standard rooms or suites. easy to get to driving or public transit. Dart train stops right in front. sky bridge to plaza of the Americas for quick bites to eat but hotel is close to trendy restaurants and night life
Not much to say. Was here for 2 hours due to a conference seminar. Nice convention center. Finding your way around the building is confusing to some degree. The building was very clean and the staff was friendly while directing me to the room I was looking for.
I did stay at this hotel during construction, so this review may not be accurate of the hotel when it's not under construction. Everything just felt thrown together. The bar was set up in a makeshift location that didn't work well. 2 of the elevators were down for half of my stay and never got working, for 3 days... The only redeeming factor was that the customer service was excellent. Also, this hotel isn't located near any restaurants or nightlife, so you have to Uber 10-20 minutes away for any options.
I always loved this place , no matter what we where always treated the way it should , we where lucky enoph to have my father work at one of their kitchens , in my son's bday the chef make him a special dessert that till today he still remembers . I can honestly say our stay was so nice , everything is calm and relaxing . Every time we went no deseptions at all . I will recommend to anyone ,love every day we stayed at different years at different times ,1 the balloon festival time of year , Xmas time , at the balloons show , what a show .... The best
Minimum number of available electrical outlets in rooms. Poor AC system.
The Main entrance and valet area has just been remodeled.. Also, the commons area immediately inside the new entrance has been completely redone.. Now there's a coffee bar, a casual bar with a restaurant tied into the newly remodeled commons area as well. As you enter and turn to the left and walk about 150 feet or so, then the newly remodeled reception desk area is off to the left.. There's also a lock up for guests who have valuables that they would rather not keep in the room. Also, there's a shipping and receiving area that's been built in the remodel.. This is for guests as well. There is still some very inconspicuous work still going on to make it absolutely perfect for guests.. There's a Library Lounge that's almost ready. I work for the glass company that was contracted to install all the new entrance windows in the Main Entrance/Valet area.. Also, we will be installing antique mirrors in the Library Lounge on the back walls of the cabinets behind the service counter.. This will look "AMAZING" when it's complete.. Last but not least, there's a New Back Patio area being remodeled right out the back doors of the bar/restaurant area. There's also a new storefront door that will access this new patio from the Library Lounge as well.. My company installed this new storefront door as well.. Basically, The Sheraton has given their 1st floor a complete makeover, to give guests an "AWESOME" first impression!! If the Sheraton is in your price range, I TOTALLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE WHILE IN THR DALLAS AREA!! I know if I could afford it, I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE, but I can't even come close to affording the stay here.. The closest I get is being able to install the window frames, glass, & mirrors in high profile establishments like these!! Stay here and add to the reviews so the NEW IMPROVED SHERATON CAN ATTRACT NEW BUSINESS!!
Parking is expensive and can find alternate cheaper options around.
Normally, I wouldnt moan about the valet, but me and my wife were literally stuck in the parking garage for 30 minutes. The valet was horrible, they first said we had to pay $64.99, then said we had to pay $24.99 after we complained. There was no manager available to talk to, the valet called someone and they said the same thing. Why is there no manager on duty? It was like 7PM. The concierge on the other hand was fantastic. He apologized for the inconvenience this caused us, as we were now very late to the Dallas Mav game where Dirk hit 30K points (by the time we got there there was only 6 minutes left in the game). He gave us a key to use to let us out of the garage. We cancled our room and didn't come back. If it wasn't for that awesome service from the concierge, I would have rated it 1 star. He pretty much is the only reason I would think about booking there again. If I did return, I refuse to use the garage or deal with the valet.
Lots of amenities available in this huge hotel. Great location as well. Restaurants are extremely expensive and would suggest not to eat here, but walk to one of the close by restaurants.
Attended The Dallas Margarita Ball annually, in spite of it all, it is well kept, and service excellent.
Stay away from here because they are doing construction on the hotel. Parking is a nightmare . You don t want to leave the hotel for fear of not being able to find a parking place . Food at this place is so overpriced and gross. Construction made the fire alarm go off . Just not a good visit. It would have been nice if they had put out a family friendly affordable buffet.
Very good experience. Stayed in their Executive Suite, with plenty of space and good facilities.
Excellent place and well located for sightseeing, the drawback is the WIFI in the lobby can not connect
Friendly staff, close to downtown activity areas, and great rooms.
It s kinda run down, but they seem to be fixing it up.
Nice staff, great omelets for breakfast. Lady behind the omelet bar was sweet as can be every morning too, wish I had remembered her name. Stayed a month for business cleaning staff even folded towels into a swan for me...very hospitipal throughout stay.
We did not stay at the hotel. We just attended an event. The staff was nice and the food was good.
Have a nice clean room, with decent amenities. Hotel staff has been very friendly. Both of the restaurants have been very nice.
Went here for a convention and really enjoyed the stay. Staff were very capable and efficient dealing with the huge influx of people.
We stayed in the north tower. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is pretty nice and you can walk to a lot of different things. The staff was friendly and were able to accommodate our early check-in request. Free bottles of water in the room are a nice touch. Large TV in the room as well.
Was under renovation when I visited. Rooms were clean, amenities better/cheaper than expected. Overall experience high quality for price point
My company held a VERY large conference here. The staff did a phenomenal job. Everything was very streamlined and organized and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Dallas area (and that's saying alot as I am very picky about where I stay).
The front office staff don't seem to know the ins and outs of how to treat an SPG Preferred/Gold/Platinum guest. When you email the GM, he provides a canned apology. The pool is pretty dirty and there's a lot of insects roaming around since it's pretty open. There's also no free parking and if you are staying during a weekday night - forget about finding food, most places close by 5PM downtown that is walking distance.
Stayed here one night. The service and atmosphere here is top notch. The valet service here is professional. Right in the middle of the city, it was a nice place to stop after a long road trip. Aloha.
I was very impressed with my recent Sheraton experience. The staff was courteous and friendly, the ballroom was lovely, and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect place for an afternoon of tea and fellowship in the name of philanthropy.
Great Location.. very large property with a ton of rooms. Very close to the arts district. The rooms probably need a facelift but comfortable nevertheless
I stayed at the Sheraton for a work event and loved everything about my lodging experience. Great staff, great meeting rooms, comfy bed rooms. Would definitely come back.
Very nice hotel but somewhat noisy, especially with the large number of guests.
Place is gigantic, service and food were above average.
Was only there for a conference and did not interact with any staff. Love the location and the skybridges that connect the conference center, hotel and Plaza of the Americas.
