Marriott International - Renaissance Dallas Hotel Review

Nice place to stay, but its ridiculous that they charge you for wifi when the cost of the rooms are as expensive as they are. Its a plus when hotel rooms have a microwave in them, and my room did not. I barely found the mini refrigerator hidden in a drawer next to the bed. I expected more in the design of the room and decor. It was... It could've been better.. Other than those minor minuses, it is clean, it smells good, it has a nice rooftop pool with a hot tub, etc.

Very clean and nice. Pool was nice but should be lined with glass panels to have view of the downtown skyline.

Food was amazing. Great service. Beautiful food. Enjoy the event here every year

Great place, clean, staff was all friendly and helpful. Only thing with food is restaurant is only open during breakfast so no room service after 12 noon. We used DoorDash for dinner.. which forgot to give us utensils and the front desk came to the rescue. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Beds were a little firm for my liking, but the shower was great. No problems. Very nice hotel.

Really nice hotel. Very modern. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking, fast elevators, and nice large suite after upgrade. They even delivered a birthday treat to our room! Nice!

I was at the hotel for a wedding brunch and it was excellent! The hotel is beautiful and the food and service were outstanding.

Beautiful, upper class hotel near downtown Dallas. 30 floors of excellence. Rooms are spacious and cleanliness is a big factor here. Dont count on getting a buggy to get tour luggage...the bellhop is always present and ready to help with your essentials. There is also a really nice restaurant on the lower level. The view of the Dallas skyline is really nice as well. Will definitely stay here again.

To the entire staff, "Y'all Rock". The front desk, restaurant and bar staff were off the chain. Very polite, courteous, just went out their way to make a pleasant stay. You have a loyal customers as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say, "I'll Be Back". BIG SHOUT to Alea.

Very large rooms. We were in a high floor and had a very nice view of downtown. Close too many cool areas for restaurants and shopping.

One of the better Renaissance Hotels I have stayed at. Service was key. By the second day the staff at the concierge level new me and my likes. Wish I could take the shower home with me.

Had a study there for about three hours and from the fast and friendly valet service to the exquisite lunch they provided, it was first class all the way. The salon was roomy and comfortable and the rolling staircase was beautiful. Would definitely go there again.

I love the decor and level of comfort. But I can't believe the way this hotel nickel and dimes you. I would stay again, but will be ready to spend twice what I am quoted.

We rented a suite for my sister's bachelorette party. It was wonderful! The people at the front desk we're very helpful when we forgot our tape for the decorations and the bed was extremely comfy, especially after having so much to drink! We really enjoyed staying here and we can't wait to see the renovations they are doing. Thanks for the awesome night!

The staff was very accommodating and very nice. They were able to Change my mistaken two bed booking to a one bed king with no issues. Stayed in mid December and the pool and hot tub was heated! My only complaint would be the shower head. It was a bit old and water flows through both shower and rub spouts. But overall a great experience. Ron service was fantastic!!!

Restaurant food was excellent. Amenities look new and well maintained. Lounge staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Walk into my room and my shower/bathtub is filled with black crap. I don't know how to post the picture, but it isn't good. I will not be staying here again.

Stayed here while visiting the State Fair; absolutely THE best hotel I ve stayed at. Thx so much to the front desk and dining room staff for going above and beyond normal expectations. We will return on our next trip to Dallas!

I travel a lot and this was one of the best hotel experiences I ve ever had. The room was well appointed and comfortable. But more than that I loved the lounge. The staff were so friendly I found myself going back almost just to say hi. Well done Dallas!

Beautiful common areas. Comfortable and clean room. Great conference facilities. Good room service and restaurant menu. Adequate fitness center. Not five stars because they charge for Wi-Fi and you need and Uber to get down town.

Customer service is top notch. Amazing people. The restaurant is very pricey but it is the Renaissance. Bartenders are awesome though!!! It would have been nice to be able to take a nice long shower but my drain kept backing up, and it wasn't even that it backed up it was disgusting drain funk that backed up. I let them know that the drain needed snaked and wether that happened or not, I doubt it. My co-worker had cold showers all week as well after letting them know as well... Maintenance on this facility needs upped....... If housekeeping sees the drain backing up, they need to notify someone because I didn't even step foot in the shower and the morning when I went to shower, the shower was filled with black sediment and only God knows what. Maintenance even came to the room and it wasn't any better.....

Stayed in room 2717 and the toilet ran all night. Other than that, it was great.

The bathroom was so beautiful with very amazing blue sitting chairs and sunflowers. Additionally the first floor of the hotel was very elegant and overall the Renaissance is the most unique shaped hotel in Dallas.

Great customer service. Front desk went above and beyond. Restaurant was great and so was the staff. I am a platinum member and this is one of my favorite hotels.

My experience at this property was excellent. The hotel is updated and very clean. The meeting space is very nice, and the food was great. The hotel staff was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely come back for future events here.

Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff. But, they charge ridiculous amounts to park! You pay everytime you leave and repark.

There was a group of us, the server did a good job of taking care of us. I found the menu limited in it's selection unless one was looking forward to an elaborate meal.

Stopped by to visit out of town clients. Dining area is amazing. Hotel is decorated in an art deco style.

I know its late but certainly not forgotten. My experience at Renaissance Hotel Richardson was 1 i will never forget. It was my Birthday and nothing was going rite. But COREY, O COREY, O COREY! When i tell u he made my birthday do a 360! Our room was flawless! He made sure we was comfortable, and went over and beyond doing so. Words couldnt explain how that Man made my wkend. Please Please Please if you visit the most beautiful Hotel i ever layed my head at, please tell Corey i said hello! Hopefully he's a Supervisor. Because he deserves it. 10star hospitality.

Everything about the place is awesome except for the elevators. Be prepared to wait 15 min every time you need a lift.

Clean and inviting facility with a modern/updated feel. Rooms used for wedding events. Staff were all courteous and attentive

Would repeat....Rooms are smaller ten normal but beautiful facility and staff is very friendly. As a business traveler this is a repeat Because it's close to everything as well.

I just expected a lot more for what we had to spend per night. Customer service was fine but, the room was underwhelming for our $200+ per night.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good amenities. Will accommodate as much as possible to satisfy. We had a hiccup due to room shortage and was displaced to another Renaissance for first night. But this hotel shouldered the cost for the inconvenience. Overall good experience.

we had a very unpleasant stay. room wasn't ready despite paying for upgraded package and couples treatment. it was a pain from when we walked in the door to when we checked out. everything was apologized for and the restaurant bill was covered for us, but still, not a very good stay.

Came by the hotel to pick up family for lunch. The valet area was nice, clean, and well looked after.
