Great experience. They have coffee moving everywhere, and completely functional as the reserve coffee you see here is distributed out. They have tons of different brew methods, and their beverages are much more unique than what you would find at a normal Starbucks.

It's was okay. Definitely a corporate facade that Starbucks wants the public to see it as. That being said, the coffee was the best Starbucks coffee I've had and the reading library is a nice touch.

The store was very spacious, clean and the staff were friendly.
They sold many kinds of souvenirs, as well as delicious breads.
I had two kinds of bread and Americano, which was a bit pricey but delicious.
And I sat in a bar-like place and drank coffee, but there seemed to be many people who couldn't sit because of the number of guests compared to their seats.

A truly unique experience!

A truly unique experience!

This is no normal Starbucks, this is the Starbucks Reserve you will not find pumpkin spice lattes or other specialty drinks. You will find specialty coffee!

You will be greeted with a coffee menu and friendly staff to help guid you to ordering. Again, this is not a normal Starbucks!

All the staff at this location have gone though the Starbucks Master roaster courses. You may have seen one of them working at your "standard" Starbucks, they are the ones with a black apron vs the standard green apron.

Expect to pay for the "exotic" price starting around ~$6 and up. The Starbucks Roastery, at the time of writing this, is one of two in the world and the only one in the US. The other is located in France. All North American exotic roasts come from this location.

I was delighted by my experience. I don't normally go to Starbucks except on occasion. I normally like the light and medium blends. This is the first Starbucks I have ever ordered espresso. I was not disappointed. The espresso was smooth, rich, and left no taste of bitterness.

You will also notice they care very much about their band. Serving go cups with in a Black cup with the Roastery brand logo.

One other thing you will notice, gender neutral restrooms which everyone enters through the same entrance, the sinks are shared, urinals are individually segmented just like the stalls but the bathroom itself is a "common" area. I think this was well designed and implemented. Never have seen or used a public gender natural restroom area until this place.

This a great place for coffee lovers to visit. Even if you do not drink coffee it even has a bar where they sell alcoholic beverages. You can find any type of souvenirs and get the whole coffee making experience. They also have good food and their customer service is excellent. This is a must when you visit Seattle and a great place to spend a good afternoon.

Lines were a bit long with limited seating, but I loved going here. Had a Hazelnut Bianco Latte that tasted like actual hazelnuts, not just some syrup with flavoring. Really cool to see the beans roasted right here as well as the Princi cafe and coffee bar.

Amazing experience. Brittany and Jonathan were superb. They brought us the most tasty Chai Oolong and Macha teas that we have ever had. They have good food and an array of drinks here. The service is extraordinary. Learn about the history of this fabulous company from some of their best personnel. This beats waiting in line outside the original Starbucks in Pike Place. Walk a few blocks more to the Roastery for a unique experience. Thank you Jonathan and Brittany for making this a memorable day for a couple of tourists from Texas.

Nice place to see coffee beans move around and you get some awesome starbucks products that you wont find in normal stores. Parking is tricky. Rely on street or there is one place where you can park opposite to this place but you got to pay like 12 to 20$

Charming place for coffee aficionados. Knowledgeable staff enjoys being peppered with coffee questions to flex their knowledge. Haters don't like paying for a decent cuppa. Worth every cent.

Overpriced pretend tourist trap. I appreciate a good cup of coffee as much as the next person, but let's call this place what it is - part showcase and part hangout for tourists, and the coffee was overpriced and slightly better than bad.

The atmosphere over here is incredible, it is practically the Vatican of Starbucks. All the reserve grinds you can think of are found here and it smells amazing. The taste testing is also an amazing experience that is definitely worth a shot if going for the first time and watch the simplest flavours change in your tastebuds!!

All hype no substance.

All hype no substance.
Great fit out and space with plenty of copper to distract you from the average coffee they serve.
Had a hand drip (pour over) the was done by an automated water dispenser which resulted in an bland watery coffee. Who knows, the beans might have produced a delicious coffee if they took the time to brew it by hand.

Great staff. Most knew my name after the first coffee. The nitro cold brew was amazing.

Will return if up there.

Really cool experience. Came with family and we must have looked overwhelmed because some nice employee came up to us and started talking to us. They offer artisan drinks not made at the typical Starbucks like nitro cold brew. The atmosphere was amazing and there was no shortage of things to look at!

The roastery is worth seeing. It's a beautiful, ode to coffee and full of some unique knick knacks and tasty treats.

The roastery is also a freakin madhouse and packed to bursting nearly every minute of the day.

So go, take a look, but maybe don't stay. ;)

Nice fancy Starbucks reserve! Servers here are great. The ambiance is chill. It's a nice place to study, work or meet with friends. It gets busy but this location is quite large. Lots for merchandise too at this location.

Expect to pay a dime for a touristy experience and good coffee. You'll find nothing but single origin roasts really well prepared and be offered drinks that you won't find at any other starbucks, possibly any other roaster or coffee shop. It's great if you want to impress a guest who is in town, they'll definitely remember the ambience and great service. But expect the pricing to seem ostentatious. Parking isn't always easy in this part of town.

Way too busy. Hard to enjoy the place. Though it is a tourist place, it is understandable, therefore, you should check it out and experience it at least once. There is a lot to see, drink, eat and buy.

This Starbucks made me fall in live with coffee one more time. The collection is very large and menu changes everyday. Also the souvenirs and merchandise is very cute especially I liked the silver keys as a necklace. You can order a coffee testing menu which is totally worth it. A little overpriced, but the quality is on a different level.

I was hoping that I would come back to this shop again because I greatly loved the place, staff, coffee, and foods. Honestly, I enjoyed every moment that I visit in your shop, for it was satisfying and worth it. Also, the foods and the coffee that I ordered taste very good and yummy. Overall, I like everything in your shop. Thanks!

The employees can be rude at times especially close to closing but a beautiful and amazing place that worth visiting, especially for visitors. They should hire more employees at this location, it s obvious that they are under high stress and high volume of customer at all times of the day!
Many people utilize the Starbucks reserve as hangout spot and meet up spot as well. It s open, large, not exactly wheelchair friendly in regards to the entirety of the venue. Stairs steps are way too thin and can be dangerous after rain if walk down to the lower level. Advise cautions
