The room amenities were not a big surprise for a 4 star hotel, but the service at SPH was phenomenal. The hotel staff was super nice and we're happy to help with all my requests. I had a friend come with a Nintendo Switch, and it couldnt connect to the television. We called room service and the staff member switched out our broken television with a new 49".

Training seminar with a service vendor. Not your typical breakfast fair, but actually a great quiche and a nice platter of smoked salmon with capers, chopped hard boiled eggs, and onions. Nicely done.

Really nice hotel! Really posh. My room was located really far away from the elevator so that was a bit of hassle but otherwise no complaints. The 4 star is because of the rooms were not well insulated for noise. I could hear someone banging on the floor or door at the level below.

While i was only there for one night, and only really for a short number of hours at that, the Stanford Park Hotel was lovely and accommodating. Everything was extremely clean, and there was great attention to detail. The staff was friendly and helpful in our limited interactions.

I would definitely welcome the chance to stay there again.

As my visit was for a professional training session, I didn't have a chance to visit most of the various corner of this beautiful hotel. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and courteous.

Excellent service and great ambiance. Nicely appointed rooms with surprising additions (wireless charging stand was great). Complimentary snacks coffee and pastries helped with the early morning grogginess.

The Stanford park hotel restaurant is not currently open maybe due to renovations. We had breakfast instead in the lounge. Seating is also available outside. The breakfast menuis a bit more limited than previously but very delicious. The lounge is a bit dark for breakfast.

The staff was friendly, rooms were big, beds were enormously big, though the hotel is located next to the train station, we didn t hear any noise from trains, snacks and water were included, loved outdoors jacuzzi and pool and free parking - the hotel is pretty expensive, so you kinda expect all of that.

September 17th of last year I had the pleasure of family, friends, my wife and I staying at this hotel for our wedding. The Hotel and the staff were fantastic. With this in mind I invited two of my co-workers one of whom is planning a large wedding for her daughter to stop there after work for drinks.
It was all downhill from there.
The person tending the bar who was also the Manager, Menlo Grill Bistro & Bar handed me the Happy Hour Menu and the regular menu. The Happy Hour Menu looked great, three different wines or a cocktail plus a variety of appetizers all for 5 dollars from 3- 5 PM. Great! Wrong!!!
I asked for the red blend and was told they were all out, okay I thought I ll have the Pinot Gris. The manger went to the side room and brought out a bottle opened it and poured me a glass, no problem. I told him I was waiting for two friends and as I was sitting at the bar a gentlemen came back from the outside, returned his food and showed the bartender what appeared to be a single piece of soggy bacon on his bacon burger, and refused to pay for it. Okay .I thought.
My friends arrived, ordered their drinks and we also ordered three of the appetizers from the Happy Hour Menu, normal stuff, wings, calamari, and pork belly, from a new bartender and payed for all of it at the bar. We went outside and sat down to enjoy the day. Once we sat down the bartender came back out and said they were out of all the food on the Happy Hour Menu but we could order off the regular menu if we wanted, and, that the manger would be out to give us back the money we had just paid for the food.
The manager did come out, returned the money for the food and stated he was sorry. I in turn told him that I was very disappointed; I had been at the hotel last September and how good it was then and now to bring friends there and this happen was embarrassing. His reply was sorry but you can order food off the regular menu if you want .
So we did, we ordered calamari and the charcuterie plate. Somehow the same dish (calamari) that was on the Happy Hour Menu but not available, was now available on the dinner menu at twice the price. The food itself was not very good. Sauce for the calamari was mayonnaise and cayenne pepper, the bottom slices of the salami had what looked like a blue tinge to them. Not good for a Hotel of this stature and reputation
My wife was recommending the Stanford Park Inn to three of her friends who are getting married. When I went home I told her the same story I am telling now. I think they would be better off looking elsewhere until the management gets there act together.

The room was like a small apartment with luxurious appointments: comfortable lounging chairs, a spacious bath, two sink areas, and a fireplace! The staff was wonderful, knowledgeable, and gracious. We really enjoyed our time at the bar exchanging pleasantries with Ron and the rest of the staff. Newspapers, coffee, teas, and pastries in the morning were a welcome treat that started the day off beautifully. We highly recommend this place.

This is a great little hotel...the Silicon Valley area. Everything in the area is dated and expensive. This hotel does a great job of having a friendly staff and a decent price. The bar and restaurant needed more staffing for the demand, but has a nice atmosphere. Rooms are dated, but are ok.

The hotel is beautiful and staff very friendly. My family really enjoyed it as I was a patient at Stanford Medical. When I came back for a follow-up the staff went out of their way to make it relaxing and pleasant for my wife and I.

This is a fairly standard boutique hotel. Facilities are very pretty, inside and out, but they do have some issues -- I was initially assigned to a room that had broken air-conditioning, and the noise from the CalTrain next door is noticeable but not obtrusive. Service is polite and attentive, and the location is convenient to Stanford, 101, etc.

We live in the area but decided to stay here for a night to enjoy the pool. Great idea, we'll definitely come back! Very centrally located, great service, good sized rooms. We enjoyed our stay as a family.

A lovely older hotel. Very well updated rooms with nice firm beds and so many complimentary touches (hot cider and apples at checkin, chips, cookies and water bottles in a basket in the room, workout room and sauna...)
