I had a phenomenal, spacious room overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was one which you never wanted to leave. Had the leek omelette for breakfast - the omelette itself was very cheesy but the potatoes were a little dry and overcooked

Fanatic location! Great rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, soft robes, wonderful decor, centrally located. All around a fantastic experience.

Very pleasant hotel in the middle of the park, between the train track and the road and neither of them has any harm.

Just an excellent, classic California hotel with first class service and wonderful extras, like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and really pleasant places to sit and meet with other people. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and have fireplaces. And the location really can't be beat.

Midline nice Hotel. Very good location to Stanford. Dining is very good in Menlo Grill as is in room. Non existent unsecured WiFi keeps it from another star; not good for business or personal.

The courtyard is good, the parking lot is big, the hotel restaurant is not bad.

I've stayed here a couple times now and have had an overall pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and mostly competent. The bar and grill is good and the bartenders are friendly. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable and some have fireplaces but don't expect modern, this is a vary traditionally styled hotel. The gym is nice though can be busy in the mornings. The location is great, a short walk to downtown Palo Alto, Stanford, or the mall.

Great location - walkable to most restaurants and Palo Alto law firms. Cozy charm with updated amenities and convenient dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very close to the stanford shopping center, walking is also possible!

The staff is super accommodating. The whole place is very comfortable and utterly relaxing. You would think you were in a getaway location and not Menlo Park. A sweet surprise all around!
