Saw Justin Timberlake here and it was awesome!! The staff were professional and very nice!
I've sat in the seats and volunteered at various events here. Such a fun atmosphere to be in no matter the event.
Great facility! Restrooms were clean, employees were constantly giving attention to any trash or spills on the floors (which was plenty, considering it was a concert...) Each employee we spoke with was professional and polite and made a lasting positive impression on us
Arena is great, the Tampa Bay Lightning are awesome.
Awesome time at the lightning game!!! Food is expensive here, but it all tastes great! FYI don t buy tickets from scalpers outside, you can get scammed easily! Do however use the Student Rush for the lightning or just wait to buy your tickets from ticketmaster until right before the game! Great deals then!
Always a great place to go! Staff is very courteous.
I have been here multiple times for events. Everyone is courteous and the facilities are very clean.
One of the best concert venues in Tampa. Good view from all levels.
Been to a few events here over the years. Its always clean and organized, lots of security and pleanty of vendors. Its located right next to channel side so it has a pretty view esp at night and its super close to a lpy of places so you can just walk around after you're done with the show or game.
Been here several times for lightning games, concerts, and special events. Excellent venue.
We went to WWE Raw Reunion. The staff at Amalie Arena are so helpful and really act like they are happy we came. They watch for opportunities to make our visit a better experience. They tried very hard to make it easier for people with disabilities. The food is a little bit expensive to the point that we can't always afford to eat here. But when we do the food is really good. The only thing I said I don't like is it during WWE they do not allow bottles. I do not like to have my drink without a lid or in a bottle because when it goes into the holder people in front of me can get their hair in it but I can't sit and hold it the entire time. one other issue that Amalie Arena needs to address is requiring people in wheelchairs or motorized scooters to park them on the first floor when their seats are on the second or third level. This makes it very difficult to go to the restroom or to get concessions if it's not readily available.
How do they shut down all concession stand at 10pm and concert started at 945pm. No alcohol for the whole event. That is ridiculous.
Worst experience ever!!! Purchased VIP tickets for a Andrea Bocelli, arrived at arena , was told to VIP entrance on the other side of the building, walked in the rain over there to be told to go back where we were. Then we were told to stand in line, stood in line 20 min in the rain to be told to go in the door where there was no line. The whole thing was one confusion after another, the employees were clueless and rude. Terrible start to what was supposed to be a wonderful everting. Amalie Arena you are the worst !!!!!!!
Great venue, but literally everything in overpriced. Disney merch & food isn't even this expensive.
Excellent arena for Hockey or concerts. The recent upgrades have redefined the place. Although it will always be the Ice Palace to me.
Saw Bob Seager Roll Me Away tour! What a great venue.
A fun place to watch a game. The tickets are still affordable, especially if you buy them at The box office ans even the nose bleed seats offer a good view of the game. The crowd energy is almost as good as the United center in Chicago. Great support and recognition for the community. Love the Vandenberg generator and bolts!
What a joke was the Phil Collins concert! Really! Amalie Arena. I never thought that buying tickets for his concert would be a Pig_in_a_poke experience. He sat in a chair most of the time and his voice sounded terrible.
Love this venue, but parking close by is impossible
Spend the $8 for the tour before the game. Well worth it to see behind the scenes.
This is a great place for unique events. It delivers on what you expect. My main complaint is that the powers that be had years to plan this event space but they chose yet another complicated landmark. The Arena was planned in advance, the planners could have considered the limited space by the water. Make sure you plan to arrive over an hour and a half before your event so you can prepare, ( food, drinks, parking, traffic). Downtown Tampa is barren during the week but it's HELL during events.
Easy to go and get tickets for random events. The events there are good
Attending a Tampa Bay Lightning game is a full experience. The organization is top notch when it comes to fan and community engagement.
I've been here for several events and never had a bad experience
I work here and it's one of THE best places in Tampa to come work for. Everyone is friendly and where else can you go to work on a daily basis and be able to say that you work for one of the best hockey teams in the league and that's not including all the concerts and venues in between the games
Been here for hockey games and concerts. Great arena with lots of food and drink options. Easy to get around and find your seats. The terrace is very cool, overlooking Tampa.
Nice facility. Parking in the area could use some better planning by the city.
ELO Concert was fantastic! Great seating and a solid venue!
When crowded, the lines through metal detectors are poorly organized. Very chaotic. Arena staff very helpful though, especially with patrons with mobility challenges.
Great place well organized and Tampa Police, I must take my hat off for them, excellent work.
This is definitely one of the best places to watch an NHL hockey game great views from everywhere feel like you re part of the team.
Noisy but the best team won so we will take it. Love how the Lightening fans embrace their team!
Went for a concert and loved the fact that all the seats are cushioned with arm rests
Very nice arena. Large amount of seating, wide variety of food options inside of the arena, lots of parking available at and nearby. Jumbo screen can be seen easily from everywhere and no problem seeing the action even from high up in the nosebleeds. Check out the Lightning games, always a gun fan experience.
This arena is soooooo cool! It's so cool, it was once called the Ice Palace! But really, it's just gotten better over the years. The Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey Team has made good on their promise of beautifying the Downtown Tampa Area starting with this arena - the outside is decorated with banners that feature our heroes of hockey, including a statute of the "main man"- Mr. Phil Esposito, owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning. I'm always proud to see the face of Amalie on TV whenever the Lightning make the playoffs (which they frequently DO). But, hey, it's not just about hockey - I've also seen some pretty awesome concerts at Amalie through the years. There is never a bad seat and the acoustics seem pretty good for such a large venue. This beautiful arena is one of the distinctive landmarks of Tampa Bay and hold many memories of great events for us all.
This has been a great venue for just about every event I have been to. The staff is friendly and helpful. The most recent show I went to was 98 Rockfest. We were in the standing room only section on the floor. We were up very close to the stage. If you can pay in advance for parking and park in the garage next door, it is a very short walk and its nice to be that close after being on your feet for 6-7 hours. All of the seats are pretty decent.
Traffic to the arena was a bit of a hustle, but else, everything about this arena is top notch. American quality and effeciency. We had a great hockey experience!
Amalie Areana is the greatest place ever. Serious there is nothing else in the world better than going to a lightning game win or lose.
Great arena. Cool spots to go grab a beer during intermissions.
We enjoyed a great Lightning game and they won 9 to 2 against the Vancouver Canucks
Great place to see concerts and an amazing venue, team, franchise to watch the Tampa Bay Lightning! GO BOLTS!!
Great place to watch hockey or a live show! Go BOLTS!
Great Billy Joel concert, sound was good. Easy to get to car and home! Crowd was great!
Chic stadium, but completely excessive prices for hockey games. $ 15 for a beer is too much of a good thing.
Went to see the Hugh Jackman concert and it was awesome. Seats are a bit cramped for larger people but was a great experience.
Great arena, good helpful and friendly staff, parking, good food, the Bolts are a great team.
Nice arena, more organized than other venues I ve been too. Clean. Parking all in reasonable distance. Food and drink prices are ridiculous
Always a good experience here, weather it's a concert, hockey game, or whatever.
Always have a Wonderful time cheering on The Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena! The staff is always so helpful & polite! The food & beverage places inside are A+! Don't think there is a bad seat anywhere! If you get the chance to get tickets to The Chase Club, it is well worth the $! Go Bolts!
Go Bolts...tried the barbq place, the sliders were fantastic.
Love this venue! Great hockey for us Canadians ! Love to see our homeboy from Markham play!
Love the Lightning so we go as often as possible. Have seen other shows here and there has never been a bad seat.
A great venue for Lightning hockey, concerts, or today's Hiring Our Heroes Career Fair!
Great entertainment venue, except parking! Needs better exit strategy to guide you to the parking decks.
Saw Jeff Dunham here! Awesome place! Drinks cost an arm and a leg though!
Great arena. Good food selection and not a bad seat in the place.
