This Arena offers a lot of parking areas and very friendly staff. They are host to a lot of fun activities including my favorite of all...ice hockey! The outdoor setting is a wonderful setup with a wide waiting and entry area. It gathers all the fans together creating a "tailgate-like" setting.

Went for a concert and it was okay. I will say they are fairly efficient getting people through security screening. Had to dock points for no visible elevators to get in and they don't appear to enforce their own no photography rule.

Everything sold at the arena is disgustingly overpriced. However. If you avoid buying food or beverages, the events here are incredible. The versatility of the arena is insane. Concerts, hockey games, etc. Amazing set ups and etc. Etc.

Paul McCartney 14th row center was the best show I've ever seen - and I've seen them all! I was so impressed with the VIP lounge on floor. Food, cocktails, restrooms. The entire venue is awesome!

My daughter and I went to a Lightning Hockey game there to celebrate our birthdays. The hockey game was great, but the experience outside of the game was remarkable. The amenities are all great - local restaurants have a strong presence here, and you really get a good sense of the local fare. It is easy getting in and out for events, and I always find parking reasonably priced and within easy walking distance. Inside the arena, if you are there for hockey, there is a beautiful and HUGE video board to follow the play ( and replays). There really aren't any bad seats in the place, at least not that I have found. A huge pipe organ, and real tesla coils make artificial lightning to add some excitement to home team goals. It makes for a great fan experience. The only negative I can think of is the really high price for beer or soft drinks. The food is actually reasonably priced for a sports arena. Just not the drinks - probably the highest I have ever paid for a beer. Still, everything else outweighs that, and I still give it a solid five stars.

I go to see the Tampa Bay Lightning and I enjoy the atmosphere. Easy to going in and out, clean bathrooms and Arena personnel is nice and helpful. I park at Fort Brooke (5-8 minutes walking from the arena. Food is kinda pricey, but I believe is like every other arena

Arena was great, traffic not so much. Tried to follow GPS to get there but there were road closures, construction and incomplete or late prompts. Then the police were directing traffic and made our lane into a right hand turn only but you couldn't see it until it was too late so we had to circle back around in bumper to bumper traffic again. It was a traffic snarl to say the least and people were not kind when trying to merge or letting people in. We did buy reserved parking for our event in the south regent parking structure so we were right there at arena. If you get a chance to choose that when buying tickets you should, it was only $12 for our concert. We went on a Weds night concert was at 8pm. Left downtown St. Pete at 6 and had solid traffic across half of Howard Franklin , into Tampa and traffic mess around arena so plan accordingly. Getting into parking structure was a 30 minute process all on it's own once we were very close to arena. Made the concert and once on arena grounds walking was easy to navigate. You will have to go through security, metal detectors and bag check at entry.

Been here for many concerts, hockey games, and other events. Always a great time, food is stadium pricing but still cheaper than most other arenas. Sound is good for concerts, not a bad view anywhere in the building for a hockey game.

Staff EXTREMELY helpful

Barry Manilow concert a Christmas gift for my mother. She throughly enjoyed but wouldn't get up to dance to Coba Cabana (which I think is a must! Lol!) A rip off for food & drinks. I understand the vendors need to make money but $6 for a bottle of soda. We always try to eat beforehand but couldn't this time. Next time I'll drink from the water fountain.

The arena compared to other hockey arenas is larger, better maintained and updated regularly. Where it is lacking is the food choices and also the disorganization coming into the arena. There is no resemblance of lines and it looks like a mob heading into through the metal detectors. Other sport venues are more organized and with a much more people attending. The employees on the inside are great from the few times visiting and it feels more like a college game with everyone being involved

Prices are ridiculous, rules are ridiculous, parking is always tough. Paid $40 for two drinks at a concert. Then paid $5 for a bottle of water and about $7 for a soda. Between the prices and cutting off drink sales barely an hour into a concert, I am not impressed. Usually pick concerts at other venues because there are just so many better, cheaper options.

The Amalie Arena is a beautiful addition to downtown Tampa and it's a stunning example of modern architectural design. It's nicely located within the Channelside District providing surrounding views of Port Tampa and Harbor Island. There are also a number of restaurants and other attractions nearby. Its definitely worth a visit when in the area.

I'm 18" wide at my hips exactly the width of the seats. Are we flying in a plane or what. I had to literally sit in my wife's lap and invade the guy next to me, arm space.
One small elevator for disabled and accessible persons.
But the concert was great. Tobymac, Jordan Feliz, Jermey Camp, and Aaron Cole and Ryan Stephenson sang radio quality music. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. It was awesome. We've been together 17 years. But that beside the point. Best concert I've seen in a long time.

Nice arena, really put on a great Hockey game!! Thunder Alley pregame is entertaining, Also a great location. My one concern would be some of the home fans seem to think anyone cheering for the visiting team should be aggressively confronted.

I had never been to Amalie Arena before; however, decided to venture out to Tampa to see the iconic Celine Dion. After battling traffic for an hour and a half, I got to the arena. It is a beautiful arena with easy access into the building from the parking garage located within the "courtyard". The arena offers a lot of great food and beverage options for a very expensive price but alas I still had to eat so $25 for chicken tenders and a water it was. The seats were actually very comfortable even for a larger guy like myself and I felt like it was a very good view even for being the cheaper seats.

Amalie is honestly among the top venues I have been to; however, I still prefer Amway Center.
