Arena was great, traffic not so much. Tried to follow GPS to get there but there were road closures, construction and incomplete or late prompts. Then the police were directing traffic and made our lane into a right hand turn only but you couldn't see it until it was too late so we had to circle back around in bumper to bumper traffic again. It was a traffic snarl to say the least and people were not kind when trying to merge or letting people in. We did buy reserved parking for our event in the south regent parking structure so we were right there at arena. If you get a chance to choose that when buying tickets you should, it was only $12 for our concert. We went on a Weds night concert was at 8pm. Left downtown St. Pete at 6 and had solid traffic across half of Howard Franklin , into Tampa and traffic mess around arena so plan accordingly. Getting into parking structure was a 30 minute process all on it's own once we were very close to arena. Made the concert and once on arena grounds walking was easy to navigate. You will have to go through security, metal detectors and bag check at entry.
