Good concert venue, very cold due to the ice rink, so bring a jacket. Security is usually very good.

This is one of my favorite venues to go watch the Lightning hockey games. There really isn't a bad seat in the house even the top nosebleed section you can easily see all the action. Usually there's people selling tickets right out front you can grab on game day as well. Go Bolt's!

Average at best. Food is way too expensive for sub par quality. Dont plan on making it a dinner and show. Seats are comfortable in 100's. Don't have first hand on the other sections.

Always a fun time here, especially Lightning games. There really isn't a bad seat in the arena, although the sections in the upper tiers are quite high. This photo is shot from the very top row S.

Always a great place for sports and concerts. Getting a parking space is tough because of heavy traffic pouring into downtown Tampa. Get there at least an hour early and enjoy the waterfront and food.

My first experience at Amalie was for the UFC Fight Night event, and wow - what an amazing arena! I've been in a number of these that wouldn't be able to hold a candle to Amalie. Well kept, well staffed, and service was awesome. Not a bad seat in the house. Only caveat is that the prices match the atmosphere so expect to spend a hearty amount on drinks and snacks.

Ticket system was down when we went in to get event tickets. Construction is everywhere around the arena and a complete buzz kill.

I've been for hockey games and concerts and all have been excellent. There's really not a bad seat in the whole arena. Concession prices seemed a bit steep.

Great building with an amazing atmosphere. Tampa are in first place as well

Great clean venue with friendly staff but the prices on food and drink are outrageous and the only reason we hesitate to go there for any event.

Food options are varied and plentiful. The venue is great for concerts as well as lightning games. Exterior is exceptional as well and very rare for large stadiums.

Had a great time here. Seats a little small for big fella like me. Parking like wise is tight. Made for small compact cars not cars like Camaro or Trucks.

Went to the TSO Christmas show, at Amelie, staff was very helpful in helping us get seated. Well laid out with plenty of access to and from seats. Clean and easy to navigate.

Went here for last Ringling circus in Tampa, Florida. We were in section 300, nose bleed. Be ready to take some stairs.

This is a wonderful Arena to go to. Every time I go the seats have perfect views of whatever entertainment is going on

Very clean, kept up with but the main issue there is that you will go broke buying anything there. Almost 7 bucks for a reg bottle of soda, about 5 bucks for a water. Food is astronomically over priced and makes the movies seem like the dollar store. So besides the robbery concerning food security is the other problem, concert just finished, bands are trying to sell merch at the tables and security was kicking people out while they are trying to shop for merch right after the concert.

Went to see Kevin Hart here last year and it was a great experience. The way the arena was setup for the performance was easy to maneuver, clean and definitely cold enough to contain the audience without getting hot.

Looking forward to the next trip/performance that I'm attending here.

Parking is tough, but not impossible. Security is typically long, because it's always packed in there.

The arena experience is top-notch. Amazing organ, good views from anywhere, an awesome gimmick (Tesla coils), and feels cleaner than most sports arenas.

Loses a star because the only way to smoke is going back out into the courtyard. So if you are up on the 300-level gotta go waaaaaaay down and back up. But, well, we shouldn't smoke anyway, right?

Great place for a show and of course lightning games. Be advised seats are small and food prices are very high. A chicken sandwich and a Coke cost 20 bucks. Parking at a reasonable price is tough unless you're willing to get there 3 hours before an event.

If you get nose bleed seats be safe those steps are steeper than they look on television!

One of the best hockey stadiums I've been to. Really cool atmosphere. Liked the standing room section. Loved the tesla cool that made real lightning before each period and every time tampa scored. Jumbotron was also great. Huge and had plenty of game info. Didn't get food, but looked like there were plenty of tasty options. Tried the Big Storm Brewing Lightning 25 craft lager which was really good. Organ player was awesome too. Only complaint was the sound system was crappy up in The nosebleeds. Hard to hear and muffled.

Went to the Halle & Oates concert last night at the Arena, we sat in the 200 s which are Club level and it was great. Nice size seats, lots of bar and food vendor options including Irish 31, Big Storm Brewery, a cool sliders place and many beer and food carts. There are a good amount of restrooms located in the club level and each restroom has a large amount of stalls so the lines move quickly. The sound quality was great and the also have large screen projectors so you can see the show from every seat. Definitely a top notch place to attend a concert!

This arena is so big! The seatings are very clearly labeled. You will not get lost. The directions are clear and easy. They have a good selection of food and beverage inside. Really like this place! Parking can be improved though...

Overall a fun night at hockey game, but on the down side vendors are card only and seats are extremely snug especially when your neighbors keep coming and going.

My first Tampa Bay Lightning game. Awesome game against the Brewers they won four to nothing. Go lightning!!! We are getting the Stanley Cup this year!!!

Terrible service, as much as I enjoy watching a lightning game live, I will never again come to this stadium. Being escorted out of the game after attempting to buy a beer and being told a generic no by the bar tender is a little ridiculous. I'm sorry, did I say bartender? I meant the guy who pulls beer cans from the ice and opens them. Maybe if he had more alcohol and costumer service training, he could've told me why I was unable to buy a beer at that time, instead of leaving me guessing. I thought my card had been declined, so I attempted to pay cash at another location. That's when I was thrown out. The old chubby white ladies who run section 315 shouldn't work with people, they're obviously too old and bitter. If I had purchased the tickets through my credit card company, I would've gotten a refund. Stay away from this stadium and watch the lightning at the bar, these people don't deserve your business.

I helped set up for an event here as well as attend the event myself and liked it a lot. The staff seems nice and cooperative. The bathrooms are all around and are clean and well maintained. There is a cozy feel to the space. I enjoyed my time there and can't wait to go to a game.

The only negatives would be the parking. There is a parking garage adjacent but if you don't come early it gets filled up & only monthly parking 'suscribers' can park. And you stuck trying to hunt down a space in this construction laden and weird parking times metered labyrinth of streets that is downtown Tampa. Good luck there! Even the cops we asked seemed not to know what the meter maid would do.

Thankfully we found one so it wasn't much of an issue. Next time we are planning on just getting an Uber and parking at a friend's place that lives close by.

The music was phenomenal, lighting for the concert excellent. The experience was well worth the cost of admission.

Fantastic concerts! Though overpriced drinks , food and parking. Air conditioning needs a tune up. Cheers to employees. They keep the lines moving while still being polite and friendly.

It's an event venue. But 14.50 for a beer is just past ridiculous. 8 bucks I even get, but 14.50!? You outta your mind.

Went to a Lightning game, and found the floors and seats clean, along with security moving the line efficiently. Have been here for multiple events and was pleased every time I've gone.

Someone needs to write a petition on the exorbitant concession prices. $16 for one beer is straight greedy.

Amalie Arena is a excellent venue. The layout of the building is sufficiently good so that you don't have to search very hard to find where you are going. The staff were all super friendly, and helpful. Only possible downside was that food and drink was expensive, but it's what you expect when coming to a place like this.

Parking by here is shady. They should make it APPEAR safe at least. But the stadium is great.

Awesome venue...not a bad seat due to thoughtful construction. Plenty of excitement and concessions.
