Great place to take kids for some fun. Always changing displays, interactive play, food and entertainment options. It can be a cheap day or very pricey and be just as much fun.

Would be better if some of interactions weren't broken. Mars rover with broken wheel, broken big Nintendo controller in gaming area.
Science center took so much out and some things were closed off. My kids were bored and wanted to leave. At least my daughter got to see the dinosaur.
The lightening wasnt worth the money..but the Smores and chilli was great
I really enjoy the Earth History exhibits and the Video game sections
Nice place to take children, a lot of hands on displays.
Visited the Planetarium and the Science Center last week with my son and grandsons while they were visiting from AS. We had a great time. So much to do and see. A lot of free interactive things to do. The boys are 6 and 8 and didn't want to leave; The oldest got to talk to the dinosaur expert on staff and talk about discoveries made on archeology digs. They had fun looking for their own dinosaur bones at one of the exhibits. Very informative and enjoyable.
This Science Center is great for kids and adults of all ages. Wonderful exhibits that are well maintained. A lot of hands on experience. Omni Max theater. Free except for some select exhibits. Great fun for the family!
It was alright. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best. Definitely more kid oriented and the exhibits were scattered all over the place couldn't really go or find everything in that museum unless you wander around for hours. Great place for the family and again KIDS Saturdays are really packed too.
I'm being in a couple times since I've moved to Saint Louis personally I loved it it is a great place to take your family
I love this science center. My daughter was fascinated by the electricity area. She got to.move different objects around to see how it powers locations. We even got to see a live science demonstration. Ohh, they also had some delicious cheese tots in the cafe.
Newly renovated Omni Max was a big hit with the family.
Wish we had a free place like this in Utah! My kids LOVE coming to visit!
Great place to go. Make sure you had your coffee. Pretty sure I ve lost my child here once. But was so worth it.
The planetarium experience here is one I will never forget. You can lay down on mats and stargaze. It felt so magical and immersive. My son loved all the exhibits. St. Louis in general is a great place for kids' activities. Make this place one of your stops when you visit.
Endless amounts of fun and learning here! The exhibits are so well thought out and put together, I was really impressed and had a lot of fun experiencing this museum! The planetarium was my favorite part!
Such a great place to take kids to learn and play! Kids are nice and tired when they leave.
Went during Covid time. Bit of a bummer due to some exhibits being closed (for sanitary reasons). My kids understood and still had a good time. Parking was $12 but admission was free.
Always enjoy the regular science center exhibits and the First Friday and special exhibits are lots of fun
Lots of different things to see. There are several paid exhibits so it's not all free but the free stuff is pretty good.
Planetarium was amazing! Da Vinci exhibit, too. Rest of it was more for kids, but those two exhibits made it good for adults.
Wonderful and fun place. So much to do and experience
Great place for kids! The discovery room is one of my favorite parts. It s basically made just for the younger kids. Make sure to see an IMAX movie while there. Your kids will love it too. It feels like you re in the movie. A must-see if you re visiting STL.
Great place for kids. Parking a bus here is not fun at all. I suggest parking around back side in the park area if your bringing a larger vehicle.
The best thing about this place is the price: free. You would do well to bring food/beverages if you plan to hang long, but otherwise, it is a wonderful experience with lots for the kids to enjoy. My favorite was the Game Exhibit, where they went through the evolution of gaming and the tech involved.
We LOVE it here and the kids always have fun, and its FREE! Parking is only 10$. We have been several times and will go again.
Always a great place to learn a little science and get some steps in!
This was amazing! Free other than the $12 parking and there are extras if you want. Brought all 3 kids. Even the food was amazing and well priced. Bathrooms were spotless!
They had an awesome event for the first Friday of the month! Vendors came in and the event was free, we just paid for parking. I would highly recommend going, even if it's just on a regular day!
Really cool place! When I was there they had a video game exhibit; which was amazing for an adult kid like myself.
Amazing place for all ages! And it's free! The Science Center has so many interactive things and is such a blast.
Fun. They did a good job of keeping things clean and safe during COVID for the fam.
So much to see & do! Happened to be a rainy day so worked out perfectly. The D-Day presentation was excellent.
Great museum. Very educational. Avoid weekends if you don t like crowd. Pompeii exhibit was excellent.
Nice place with lots to see. Wish it was cleaner, germs and dirt everywhere. Everything in there is hands on and you can tell. They need a better cleaning system. The dinosaur exhibit was great but the pieces of rubber that the kids play in left black residue on my 4 year old grandson's hands really bad. Had to go wash them. Its free to get in but you pay 10 bucks to park and the food is overpriced.
Clean. Spacious. Free. Good stuff costs extra. Food is way overpriced.
We went to see the Pompeii exhibit. It was fascinating. I would strongly recommend it. As far as the rest of the science center, you could easily spend all day there. There is a lot to see and do.
I'm very thankful to call St Louis home, we are very lucky to have places like this available to us. Went to the Omnimax to enjoy the new auditorium and see the new Star Wars. Was an experience like no other and that's why we chose this venue. We are very lucky to have one of the few Omnimax here in our city. Below is a picture of the screen before the movie started, spectacular even on its own....imagine feeling like you are part of the movie. Totally awesome!!!
The Pompeii exhibit is a must see. Very powerful and moving.
Great place to visit. Went abscesses the Pompeii exhibit. Was amazing. Great time.
We always love coming here, when we're in the area. So much for kids to do, to explore, and get their energy out! The science center is free, but parking isn't- just so you're prepared.
I've loved the science center since I was a kid it has better things now
First time here and we enjoyed it! It's free admission but some activities or showings you need to pay! You also need to pay for parking. We went right before Easter and it was really packed. There were a lot of activities for children and adults!! There were a lot of staff members near by to help and it made this visit more enjoyable!
So much fun! Great way to spend and afternoon with the kiddos.
With the price being free this is a great place to take a young one and let them explore while learning. The admission is free and there are a lot of activities to do. My son is a year and 5 months and he had a blast roaming around. The dinosaurs were really fun to look at and the outdoors area with the animals was a great addition.
The Pompeii exhibit was really powerful and worth the money. I also enjoyed the gaming exhibit (free with entry). Most of the exhibits besides Pompeii seemed to be skewed to a younger audience, but humble adults can still learn a thing or two!
I've always loved visiting the science center ever since I was a kid! There's something here for anyone of all ages. The various special exhibitions will keep you coming back for more. This FREE family attraction is definitely well worth a visit!
Enjoyed our time. Remembering when my mother would bring my girls when they were little. Now I'm the grandma bringing my grandson. He is still little but he enjoyed the dinosaur.
I enjoyed going here when I was a child and recently went with my wife and son. We had an amazing time. There is plenty to see and a lot of things to interact with. There is also interesting educational information available. Parking is $10, but the center is free, unless you go for the extra attractions. You can't beat free.
Great meuseam to spend time with family but seemed very childish. Would reccomend if you are in the area
A good 4 hours of fun. Catch an Omnimax movie, a live science experiment, and walk around and explore!
Lovely place to visit and take the family. They easily have enough to keep busy all day, and they have something for everyone. The staff was extremely helpful and nice throughout the day and it felt like they loved what they do. The IMAX movie was spectacular I would reccomend catching one if you can. They whole day was definitely worth every cent and more! I strongly believe you and your whole family would love spending the day here, I know ours will be back! 10/10!
Went for dinosaur exhibit. That was great! The other exhibits were excellent too. Adults and kids love
A great museum for families as they have a lot of permanent and rotating exhibits. Also always great to catch a movie at the Omnimax! Remember to pay parking with omnimax tix purchase and you get a discount on parking.
Saw the DaVinci exhibit. They did a super job putting this one together. Next IMAX.
We do enjoy this exciting place. It needs to expand or limit the # of patrons at a time. We went to see the D Day movie and the Pompeii exhibit. It was so crowded after that we had to leave.
Great place to spend the day for little cost. General admission is free and there's just a parking fee. Plenty to do here for all ages, and one of the best science museums I've been to, highlighting STEM and other sciences. I'll be coming back on my next trip through St. Louis.
My kids are five and three and loved every minute there, from the planetarium to the building to the real-sized dinosaurs. The video game/board game exhibit was great for the big kids, too. Considering most of the museum is free, it's a must stop for families.
Holly cow. I wish I had more time to experience this place. We spent 5 hours here and still only saw half the place. I felt like I was 10 years old again in the place. Not go mention it is a great and intriguing to all ages. Must see while in St Louis!
Great place with lots to learn, but to us it was surprising that there wasn't more to do or explore for the space (especially compared to the magic house). Also, the museum is "free," but the parking is $10, and many of the cooler activities you have to pay $5-$10 per person, as well as the price per ticket for the omni-max. Membership makes many prices reduced or free, but if you've been there once, you're pretty well done, and the for membership is the same or more expensive (depending on level of membership) than better options in the area. City Museum or Magic House seems like more bang for your buck to me.
My little one had a lot of fun and the place is so big we couldn't see everything in a single visit. We're coming back for sure.
Lots of exhibits and hands on things to do! Love the planetarium
Great place to take the kids! Fun, Educational, mostly Free, and always new interesting things to do and learn! For all ages too!
Always enjoy the space exhibits and the IMAX theater.
I have been coming to the Saint Louis Science Center since I was young. I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and cannot wait until my little one is old enough to explore this Missouri gem. It is the best place for kids to play and learn about all kinds of things! The Planetarium is just the coolest! They also always have new exhibits to explore. My wife and I love coming here and can't wait to show our future kids this amazing place!!
Great for kids. Awesome that it is free. Definitely brings more people in. Good for any age really but better for kids
Learning is fun when you can touch everything at the museum! This Science Center is fantastic with so many floors of interactive exhibits! The new Apollo 11 Exhibit opened on April 14th, and is wonderful and worth the charge. We also watched the film Amazon Adventure, which we found to be well worth the additional cost. We loved that you could go downstairs and see the reels of film as they spool and unspool!
Very hands on. Good explanations for things followed by a try it out experiments that everyone in our family liked. And who doesn't like free! But park at the planetarium for free and walk across the freeway in the bridge that connects the two, you will save $10
The Science Center is a great place to cool off on a hot day. There is so much for kids and adults to do! My kids loved the discovery room, and the dinosaur exhibit!
It is free for everybody, but there are certain exhibits that do cost money to see. The rest of the place is still great to see.
This is a mostly free attraction (only charges were for parking and entrance to the special exhibit). This is geared towards kids primarily, but the temporary exhibit on the history of the guitar was very interesting.
Most things closed because of Covid but the twins lived it! The dinosaur was great!!;
Haven't been here in a while, but it was a great place to be. Was able to see the Apollo exhibit for free! We also saw the constellation show at the planetarium.
It was... Ok.
The displays were nice though due to the small size of the museum most of it just felt crowded. Less focus is put on learning than interactibility. The layout is also open, rather than providing a path for you to follow as you explore the center.
Worth a stop if you have children, plus parking is free if you have an ASTC Travel Membership.
The outside portion of the center is worth a visit, as it was less crowded and pretty interesting.
The staff were very accommodating, nice and helpful.
Went to see the great bear rainforest. It was a great show. The omnimax was renovated and the seats were really nice. The new laser format they have made the move really pop. Will definitely go back.
Great hands on fun and great way to get the family moving!
This place is great. It's got stuff for small to big kids and adults too. It's got tons of free stuff and has other premium experience type things too, without making me feel like I'm missing out. The dinosaur exhibit is large! Anyway parking on the north and south side, but they are not equal!
Great learning experience, most exhibits were closed but my grandson enjoyed himself
Lots of fun! Many different areas to explore. Fun for all ages. Special exhibits available at extra cost, but worth it! A couple of gift shops with friendly, attentive & informative staff. A food court area offering snacks to full meals. Bathrooms were clean enough. Laboratory area where patrons can view live animals & learn about different parts of the body. Beautiful fish tank!
This was great. Definitely pray the extra for all floors
Great place to bring all your family, they are a lot of things to see and learn.
This place is great for kids or If just want to feel like one for a day. Plenty of experiments to play around with.
This place never disappoints. Fun free things to do and not very expensive pay things. The membership is worth it if you plan to go alot!
Such a fun place to take the kids! Especially since its free to get in and most of the activities inside are free as well :) would definitely recommend taking your kids during the week when its not as busy (if you don't mind letting your kids play a little hookey)
