Many if the free exhibits are interesting along with seasonal events for all ages. I look forward to the Science Uncorked event each year.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were on top of making sure everything was throughly sanitized. I definitely felt safer with their cleaning diligence
We loved the hands on exhibits and the science shows. We spent tons of time in the Pompeii exhibit and definitely want to come back to do some of the other exhibits more in depth.
Had a great time at the IMAX and the planetarium...
A very cool place. Lots of things to do for all ages. My personal favorite part was the gaming area. Many retro games, a little blast from the past. Admission was free. I do wish there was more of a selection in the souvenirs section in regards to sweaters. Most items seem very child directed, which I understand, but adult visitors do join. I recommend this place from families with children and a free day. Could keep the kids busy all day!
Water main broke so we couldn't get anything to drink or use the restroom made me sad so we left
The da Vinci exhibit was great! I didn't know he was involved in so much. Right next to it is a very modern STEM exhibit showcasing modern technology and computers. Had a great time!
The Pompeii exhibit was both very educational and deebly moving.
Been coming here since I was a kid and love how things have changed and a lot stayed the same. Great for kids to have fun learning experiences and great for going on a date if you both like science.
It's free! That's all you need to know. Seriously, there are some activities that will cost extra but there's enough to do in the free areas. Visit on the first Friday of the month it you can. They have different themes and vendors come out. It's a great way you support a local artist.
Get experience for adults, kids would be unbelievable! 99% of the exhibits work. Make sure you see the ball rolling around on the tracks up around the ceiling and the walls. There's like four or five balls rolling around at the same time fascinating, fascinating, fascinating! A lot of interesting exhibits. Well worth the money.
It us such a fun place to learn cool things and take young children. I enjoy it everytime I go. There are many interactive activities.
The Pompeii exhibit is wonderful! How lucky we are to have these artifacts on display in St. Louis.
Lots of fun. So many things to do. In my opinion the optimum age is 7-10. But it really is fun for all
Loved the movie and the experience was awesome for my 12 yr... 1st time we have gone since she was younger ... we live about an hr away!!
Great place!! Free, but charged for parking. Very spacious
Sharing this place with my children just like my parents did when I was their age. The nostalgia is strong!
Great place for curious kids. Lots of interactive and hands on type activities. Most activities are free. Helpful and friendly staff. Can be crowded but generally pretty easy to get around.
This is a busy but fun place for the young and old. I always have a great time with the shows and exhibits. Saint Louis residents should add this place to their "Must See" list. Further, this is a great place to take visiting relatives and/or friends!
Great place to go. Very educational and worth taking your kids.
Amazing and free! You can't go wrong here. They have outdoor exhibits as well. So much to do from a life size dinosaur exhibit to live presentations. There is a walkway over traffic where kids can clock cars speeds. There is a area where they can build an arch. There are a couple of areas that cost money, but I didn't pay for them and had plenty to do with the kids.
Tons of free and fun things to do. We're members so we did the moon show in the planetarium, I highly recommend it. You can lay on the floor with a gym mat, or sit in seats that are movable and allow easy access to watching the show. Omnimax is probably the best thing to do. I also really liked the newer video game section. It, just like the entire museum, has tons of interactive things to do.
Great exhibits! And cool animals being conserved and researched! Cannot recommend the planetarium show or the exhibits above the planetarium enough. It's amazing for the price (free!)
Always a good time, especially the "hamster wheel" (at the Energizer exhibit). Most recently we especially enjoyed the Halloween Event and OMG Josh was absolutely phenomenal! Educational, so funny, and really engaged the kids (& adults).
I was amazed at all you could do and it's free! Kids were having a field day. I wish I could bring it back to Louisiana with me! It was an educational and fun experience!
It had a ton of different exhibit areas and the kids loved it. The game area was crowded but really cool.
This was a great stop on our way out of town. We love that it is free to enter, all you pay is $10 for parking.
The exhibits were interesting and our kids loved the dinosaurs, maker section, and the marble machine in the lobby. There was a little bit of construction as they were updating and expanding some exhibits. We didn't have time to check out the paid attractions, but all of the free exhibits made the stopool totally worthwhile.
I love this place. The exhibits are always top notch and I love to learn.
There is a little to do for everyone, and even if you go with little money, your kids will have a great time. There's a lot of interactive stuff, they can drive a Rover, play a game where they move stuff with their mind, there's a giant NES controller they can play Mario in, and the best part is that they are learning the whole time!! Staff was courteous and facilities were clean and well maintained. Will definitely visit again.
This place is always exciting to go to but was kinda sad that Build a Bear was no longer there. Wont stop me from returning! If you are into science and space this is a place to see
Love how the exhibits and experiences continue to change. Every time we come back home for the summer it's a different experience at the science center altogether. Love their Game exhibit and the Makerspace right now. Go check it out!
Not sure why I never did a review of the science center. It's a great place to take your children. There is a parking lot behind it and it costs $10 to park. Some people find parking around the community college and walk to the center from there. Admission is free. They do have some exhibits and movies that you pay extra for. My son always have a great time here.
Really great place for people with young kids. Admission is free but some other activities and attractions have an additional charge.
I'm sure it's a great science center. It's hard to believe it's all free. Parking at the observatory and walking across the bridge avoids parking fees and is a pretty cool experience in and of itself. The reason for four stars is because it's so popular, it was overly crowded on a Sunday and therefore not as enjoyable. We left and went to the far less crowded Art Museum and found it much less crowded and therefore more enjoyable.
Great exhibits and excellent food court. Lots of activities for both children and adults. Nice gift shops and lots of variety
This is an amazing place with so much to see and do for free! Something for everyone! There are extras you can pay for, but I could be there a long time without purchasing the extras.
I've loved this place for a long time. Fantastic to take any age. Something to see n do for everyone. I always bring our own lunch n they have a nice place to sit n enough stuff even while eating. It's wonderful. They also have a nice array of food n snacks available too. Wonderful wonderful place. No way to see n do everything in 1 day. Plus you want to do stuff over n over!!!
Attended The Great Taste @ SLSC. Had a wonderful evening. Great food, good music. 40 St. Louis restaurants offering a taste of the best. Definitely recommend this event.
Kids would love the game center and space station. A lot to explore. The dinosaur is to look for.
The science center was entertaining, even for "adults", which is a term I use loosely here. Lots to see and the guitar exhibit was especially cool.
This is a good place to bring your kids and learn alot of new things
Friendly staff, organized set up, lots of hands-on activities, we especially loved the omninax theatre.
Super fun. Great for children. I love the Omnimax that they have. I went to the guitar exhibit and it was fantastic and had Great displays. Great way to spend the day, will be back soon.
So amazing. Staff is awesome and helpful. Grow is great, too. Very fun and cool to see such a great set of learning tools all aimed at kids. We loved the flight simulator and the giant gravity powered ball rollercoaster.
Loved everything about this place. Something for everyone!
Nice museum, took alot of precautions on covid cleaning. Nice staff, nice exhibits. I will definitely return.
Great displays. Cost for special event a little high. A lot of walking. Price for food and drinks were outgageous. Staff friendly and helpful
I have loved this place since I was a little kid! The gaming exhibit is so awesome!
This place is great, especially if you are a kid. The animatronic dinosaur and surrounding exhibit steal the show. The movies that they put on in the theatre are also always interesting. I only give 4 stars because it is not as fun if you are high school age or older.
Lots of fun booths and activities for all ages. It's also affordable! ;)
We love the science center! Worth getting the membership for the free movies and parking alone.
Please take ur kids there, have them perform all basic experiments!! Great place
So much fun for us and the grand kids, spent hours in there so much to do! Pizza was great too!
We came for the members only Christmas party and have been emotional the family atmosphere. Not too many people. Fun extra things to do. Amazing game exhibit with an 8 person foosball table a spherical ping pong table a climbing wall game... Awesome!
The Apollo 11 movie is awesome. There are parts of the movie that make you feel like your back in time participating in the moment. For example; Saturn V launch. Great family atmosphere.
I wish to live in Missouri to visit this place again. Its awesome.
I've loved the science center since I was a child myself! Free to enter! You could spend all day there! Great fun and learning!
Good fun although more attractions cost than expected However was still a good experience and would recommend for a good way to spend several hours.
Brilliant Pompeii Exhibit! It just scratched the surface on the events that fateful. My daughter and I are currently amateur archeologists/anthropologists. We are currently digging deeper into Pompeii.
I love this place. I went with my brother and dad and we had a lot of fun. There are tons of hands on interactive exhibits and different areas with exhibits like dinosaurs, plate tectonics, agricultural, space, Mars missions, energy, skeletal structures, and bridges. There is tons of stuff to do and you can spend a whole day there without getting bored. Good for all ages, and a perfect venue for school trips and parties. They also have cute educational shows. We watched one about boiling cold that delt with liquid nitrogen
It's different than what i remember but it was great.
Perfect place to go for fun the technology in the gaming center was informative and kids got to play the arcade games. It also gives MSI a run for their money
Great about cleanliness and clearly marked walking paths and mask reminders. Great for kids.
It's a fun and free place to visit. Go to the planetarium (need to pay to access) and enjoy the sights of the universe.
Expect to spend about 2 hours here. Extremely interactive and entertaining.
There were many interesting and interactive exhibits for people of all ages. We will be back, because we didn't get to see even half of it in one day!
I always love taking my kids here. There is so much to do and see. It's great that most of the exhibits are interactive. Best part of this fun learning experience? It's free. There are some things to pay for like omnimax, but you can have a whole day of fun without that. Parking is not terribly expensive. Also we try to eat before we go because the food is a little pricey. All in all great place for some family fun
This place is probably great during the week, however on a Saturday, it was crowed with a lot of people looking for a good deal (free). Great activities for the kids to interact with including a Mars rover where they can enter commands and make the rover move in another room with screens on the wall to monitor the movements. Be prepared to wait for what you want to do, but there's so much there that you can find something to entertain the kids while they wait.
The dinosaurs are really cool! Also the video game exhibit is super fun
When I found out that the admission is free, I was supposed. But... parking is $12. Wild wind experience is $2., VR $10, Pompei exibition $19.95 for adult and $14.95 for youth. It is almost more expensive than going to Chicago Science and Industrial museum which is bigger and way more exhibitions that is included in general admission.
Although we enjoyed, but don t think that going again.
Perfect place to go when you don't know what to do with your Sunday!!
We had a good time. Some of the staff was fantastic and they are the reason for the 4 stars. Some of the staff was no so great and treated us like we were interrupting their life.
The food was just alright. My son's lunch consisted of a PB&J crustable, room temp applesauce, milk & animal crackers and it was $7.
We don't have immediate plans to return.
Great place to take the family. Lots to do. It can get crowded though.
This science center was designed so well. It's amazing! There are so many different rooms and exhibits. We loved the room for kids to explore and the space exhibits. The game room was amazing! It showcased many different games and systems. There are food options and bathrooms spread throughout the museum. The parking is free for members. Easy drop off and pickup lane.
My daughter is a Stem student so she loved this, Planetarium was very cool and entrance was free just a few things you had to pay to do and they were not expensive
Very informative a nd hands on experience. After 4hrs only expounded pay of the center. Will be back. Loved the lunar landing and space exhibit. Little and big Kids absolutely loved it!
Early in life I started coming here on school field trips once every couple years to the point of taking it for granted. In my defense nothing changed much to keep a youth's attention after a particular age but after this visit with our kids I noticed how much was changing and I greatly approve.
I would however like to see more things that engage with older gifted minds for example the teardown for the game consoles on " breadboard" display could stand to have a little more information with it perhaps something interactive seeing how computers are so integrated in our lives.
Ultimately this an awesome and marvelous community resources.
Very fun, even if you bring your dad or mom you will have a amazing day
Great upgrades over the past couple years. Love the Gaming exhibit and the new theater looks great!
Excellent museum. Excellent exhibits and they always bring in new exhibits to keep it fresh. I loved the museum growing up and now my kids love it too. Forest Park is amazing - great zoo, great science center, great art museum, great park. Forest Park and its museums are perfect for the family. Thank you city of St Louis.
Wonderful FREE attraction that celebrates curiosity! They change exhibits frequently and host a variety of events. It's a place that you will never forget. Great for kids and families, especially through the hot summers.
A fun learning environment for kids and adults. I highly recommend tickets to the Omnimax!
I thought it would be too kid focused but it was actually a really cool place. There are many exhibits that are fun and interesting for anyone. Can t forget to cross the overpass and visit the Mars section too!
It's not that big so you can come in a couple of hours. They also have a playroom for children with "smart games". The dinosaur setting in the natural size is great. Great for kids, teens.
A great place for adults and kids to have some fun alot of neat exhibits for hands on activities
