A very cool place. Lots of things to do for all ages. My personal favorite part was the gaming area. Many retro games, a little blast from the past. Admission was free. I do wish there was more of a selection in the souvenirs section in regards to sweaters. Most items seem very child directed, which I understand, but adult visitors do join. I recommend this place from families with children and a free day. Could keep the kids busy all day!

Been coming here since I was a kid and love how things have changed and a lot stayed the same. Great for kids to have fun learning experiences and great for going on a date if you both like science.

It's free! That's all you need to know. Seriously, there are some activities that will cost extra but there's enough to do in the free areas. Visit on the first Friday of the month it you can. They have different themes and vendors come out. It's a great way you support a local artist.

Get experience for adults, kids would be unbelievable! 99% of the exhibits work. Make sure you see the ball rolling around on the tracks up around the ceiling and the walls. There's like four or five balls rolling around at the same time fascinating, fascinating, fascinating! A lot of interesting exhibits. Well worth the money.

This is a busy but fun place for the young and old. I always have a great time with the shows and exhibits. Saint Louis residents should add this place to their "Must See" list. Further, this is a great place to take visiting relatives and/or friends!

Amazing and free! You can't go wrong here. They have outdoor exhibits as well. So much to do from a life size dinosaur exhibit to live presentations. There is a walkway over traffic where kids can clock cars speeds. There is a area where they can build an arch. There are a couple of areas that cost money, but I didn't pay for them and had plenty to do with the kids.

Tons of free and fun things to do. We're members so we did the moon show in the planetarium, I highly recommend it. You can lay on the floor with a gym mat, or sit in seats that are movable and allow easy access to watching the show. Omnimax is probably the best thing to do. I also really liked the newer video game section. It, just like the entire museum, has tons of interactive things to do.

Always a good time, especially the "hamster wheel" (at the Energizer exhibit). Most recently we especially enjoyed the Halloween Event and OMG Josh was absolutely phenomenal! Educational, so funny, and really engaged the kids (& adults).

This was a great stop on our way out of town. We love that it is free to enter, all you pay is $10 for parking.

The exhibits were interesting and our kids loved the dinosaurs, maker section, and the marble machine in the lobby. There was a little bit of construction as they were updating and expanding some exhibits. We didn't have time to check out the paid attractions, but all of the free exhibits made the stopool totally worthwhile.

There is a little to do for everyone, and even if you go with little money, your kids will have a great time. There's a lot of interactive stuff, they can drive a Rover, play a game where they move stuff with their mind, there's a giant NES controller they can play Mario in, and the best part is that they are learning the whole time!! Staff was courteous and facilities were clean and well maintained. Will definitely visit again.

Love how the exhibits and experiences continue to change. Every time we come back home for the summer it's a different experience at the science center altogether. Love their Game exhibit and the Makerspace right now. Go check it out!

Not sure why I never did a review of the science center. It's a great place to take your children. There is a parking lot behind it and it costs $10 to park. Some people find parking around the community college and walk to the center from there. Admission is free. They do have some exhibits and movies that you pay extra for. My son always have a great time here.

I'm sure it's a great science center. It's hard to believe it's all free. Parking at the observatory and walking across the bridge avoids parking fees and is a pretty cool experience in and of itself. The reason for four stars is because it's so popular, it was overly crowded on a Sunday and therefore not as enjoyable. We left and went to the far less crowded Art Museum and found it much less crowded and therefore more enjoyable.

It's wonderful. They also have a nice array of food n snacks available too. Wonderful wonderful place. No way to see n do everything in 1 day. Plus you want to do stuff over n over!!!

So amazing. Staff is awesome and helpful. Grow is great, too. Very fun and cool to see such a great set of learning tools all aimed at kids. We loved the flight simulator and the giant gravity powered ball rollercoaster.

This place is great, especially if you are a kid. The animatronic dinosaur and surrounding exhibit steal the show. The movies that they put on in the theatre are also always interesting. I only give 4 stars because it is not as fun if you are high school age or older.

Brilliant Pompeii Exhibit! It just scratched the surface on the events that fateful. My daughter and I are currently amateur archeologists/anthropologists. We are currently digging deeper into Pompeii.

I love this place. I went with my brother and dad and we had a lot of fun. There are tons of hands on interactive exhibits and different areas with exhibits like dinosaurs, plate tectonics, agricultural, space, Mars missions, energy, skeletal structures, and bridges. There is tons of stuff to do and you can spend a whole day there without getting bored. Good for all ages, and a perfect venue for school trips and parties. They also have cute educational shows. We watched one about boiling cold that delt with liquid nitrogen

I always love taking my kids here. There is so much to do and see. It's great that most of the exhibits are interactive. Best part of this fun learning experience? It's free. There are some things to pay for like omnimax, but you can have a whole day of fun without that. Parking is not terribly expensive. Also we try to eat before we go because the food is a little pricey. All in all great place for some family fun

This place is probably great during the week, however on a Saturday, it was crowed with a lot of people looking for a good deal (free). Great activities for the kids to interact with including a Mars rover where they can enter commands and make the rover move in another room with screens on the wall to monitor the movements. Be prepared to wait for what you want to do, but there's so much there that you can find something to entertain the kids while they wait.

When I found out that the admission is free, I was supposed. But... parking is $12. Wild wind experience is $2., VR $10, Pompei exibition $19.95 for adult and $14.95 for youth. It is almost more expensive than going to Chicago Science and Industrial museum which is bigger and way more exhibitions that is included in general admission.
Although we enjoyed, but don t think that going again.

We had a good time. Some of the staff was fantastic and they are the reason for the 4 stars. Some of the staff was no so great and treated us like we were interrupting their life.
The food was just alright. My son's lunch consisted of a PB&J crustable, room temp applesauce, milk & animal crackers and it was $7.
We don't have immediate plans to return.

This science center was designed so well. It's amazing! There are so many different rooms and exhibits. We loved the room for kids to explore and the space exhibits. The game room was amazing! It showcased many different games and systems. There are food options and bathrooms spread throughout the museum. The parking is free for members. Easy drop off and pickup lane.

Early in life I started coming here on school field trips once every couple years to the point of taking it for granted. In my defense nothing changed much to keep a youth's attention after a particular age but after this visit with our kids I noticed how much was changing and I greatly approve.
I would however like to see more things that engage with older gifted minds for example the teardown for the game consoles on " breadboard" display could stand to have a little more information with it perhaps something interactive seeing how computers are so integrated in our lives.
Ultimately this an awesome and marvelous community resources.

Wonderful FREE attraction that celebrates curiosity! They change exhibits frequently and host a variety of events. It's a place that you will never forget. Great for kids and families, especially through the hot summers.
