This place is awesome. There is so much to do and see and you don t have to spend money if you don t want to. We went when they had the Pompeii exhibit and it was really cool to see. They even had a simulated earthquake you could experience. There are giant dinosaurs, a STEM area where you can build easy projects, and a huge section dedicated to space. You can easily spend hours here. Perfect for kids and even teens.

Wonderful place for children over 10. My triplets, who just turned 12, totally loved it! Most of the staff were amazing, but the young ladies working the rides in the planetarium area were absolutely amazing! A big thank you and shout out to Kylia! I hope I spelled it correctly.

Not a lot to offer with pandemic but the staff was nice. Got to see a few new exihibits like the gaming area! Very cool! The Tesla presentation was super neat! Hearing music through electricity is mind blowing! It wasn't busy and it was clean.

The St. Louis Science Center is phenomenal to visit!! We went to see the Expedition- Moon exhibit and were blown away. Lots of cool artifacts and very well put together. It is easy to find off interstate 64 and parking is free easy as well. The museum has lots of other exhibits to offer and is great for families amd young children alike!

My kids never stop asking to go back and see "their dinosaurs". Fantastic and fun place to spend a couple hours at. And it's FREE! You can try your luck and park at the Planetarium in Forest Park (for free but very limited spots) and take the tunnel / bridge to the main location. Be sure to check out the Grow area outside with the combine and chickens!

For a free (parking is $10) science center this was a good place to burn a couple hours. It was busy but my kids were able to do what they wanted to do while visiting. I'm sure as it warms up the outdoor activities will be open and interactive. We didn't do any of the simulators or theaters. We like cheap and for 1.5-2 hrs for $10 we enjoyed it.

I have been coming to the Saint Louis Science Center since I was a kid. Now, I bring my daughters there. It is a great place for kids to play and learn about everything. The OMNIMAX theater and Planetarium are just amazing. And to top it all off, they change things up so often. There is always something new to do and explore. My family and I absolutely love coming here and will continue to do so.

We purchased a membership for the value and in one trip it has already paid for itself. THE OMNI MAX theater had several choice and my son loved the experience and learned about Spirit Bears. My brother enjoyed the interactive planetarium experience and the way the host guided us through The stars and shared his vast astronomy knowledge with us. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the kids had a very educational hands on fun filled day!

This place is great! Tons of interactive activities allow for lots of learning opportunities. They also have a place for traveling exhibitions (I highly recommend Pompeii) and an Omnimax theater. Some interactives can be a bit confusing and not all were working properly but it was still a great time!

Every first Friday of the month they have events and it is awesome! We are members and we will definitely be renewing next year. Great stuff to do with the kids and enough to fill in a whole day!

I have two, smart, patient kids. We explored two floors and a lot of different stations. Unfortunately we found them to be very boring. Either the stations were broken or they didn't work very well. Science City in KC is very kid friendly and interactive. I would never recommend this Science Center. Very dissappointed!!!

The only problem with the SC is that no matter how long you visit, your child still puts up a tiff when it's time to leave. Fascinating place and all educational. Free parking at the planetarium across the street. I belong to the Science Center, so I m a frequent visitor. Whether with grandkids or mom, we always find something new and interesting. It s an interactive experience. The Planetarium shows and IMAX movies are great. Always educational.

Loads of fun! Going here is a must do if you have young children interested in science, is pretty fun as an adult as well. This was the perfect choice in a place to go with my kids on a rainy day. The theater costs a little bit extra, but most everything else is free. It is absolutely worth it though, probably one of the better IMAX experiences I've had.

We head a great family time, learning and exploring the exhibits. My daughter loves the dinosaurs and my son loves the planets. It didn't hurt that they were doing a stranger things scavenger hunt night. Really is nice to have something this great this close to us.

Enjoyed the Da Vinci exhibit. Such an extraordinary man! Also went to the planetarium and enjoyed a show about our moon. Very informative. We are so blessed to have such a facility here in St Louis.

We are members and enjoy multiple visits throughout the year and today was the final day for the King Tut exhibit. They have an iMax theater and planetarium as well. Their outdoor area has interesting farming equipment including a tractor and the latest combine from CaseIH and demos throughout the summer and fall. Great place to come with the family, especially when it is either really hot in the summer or really cold in the winter!

Admission was free which is nice and hard to find these days. Drinks and food were overpriced, which was to be expected. Free parking at the planetarium and pretty cool walk across the highway bridge. The activities in the museum seemed better for younger children, under nine. Our boys became bored pretty quickly: ages 12, 11, 8.

Don't even get me started. I love this place.

From childhood to adulthood.. I go every time I'm in the St.louis area.

While yes this is aimed at children, there is still plenty of interesting and fun things to learn and do as a teenager or adult!

There is also a IMAX theater (currently closed until fall of 2019 - essentially closed for this summer + some of fall)

The planetarium is a must see. It is surreal and you can learn a lot .. as a child or adult!

Great museum with a variety of scientific attractions covering many branches of life and applied science. Policies in place made social distancing easy, and there were plenty of hand sanitizing stations nearby for interactive exhibits. Always love coming here, and you only pay for online reservations or parking! Plenty of great experiences for people who did not study science broadly already, or who are wanting to inspire the next generation to be fascinated by science.

This was my first visit! and the whole place was super fun. they had a lot of different areas to appeal to everyone's needs. my favorite was the science lab on the second or third floor. everyone who worked there was happy and very upbeat! Definitely worth a second visit

Love this place! The kids do too. Especially since they added their outdoor garden area! It s extremely interactive and even has a tractor for the kids to climb into for a photo. They ve always loved the robotic dinosaurs as well. Very cool kids location, we visit a few times a year.

A very good science center. The free admission is great, and the areas for which you do need to pay are very appropriate. Parking is $10 a car! Getting that for free as a member is super! And they encourage you to share your membership, too. That's really great!

The place is nice. I give 1 star because of the planetarium. The show of Magnificent Moon was just a large screen PowerPoint presentation. Don't waste your money. I didn't see the Omnimax yet but I'm very suspicious after seeing the planetarium.

Great for kids. Free to enter. Some exhibits do charge. There is a build a bear and several eateries inside. There are several floors of educational exhibits as well as a sky bridge. Located in the beautiful Forest Park. Parking was kind of a nightmare. We had to park a quarter mile away and hike. Spent three hours there easily. Nice and cheap way to spend a rainy afternoon.

I have always loved this place as a child, it was very fun to reminisce, they added a video game area where you can play Rocket League, Test your aim, many many places, I would definitely recommend taking your children and family here!

World class science center and adjoining planetarium. Excellent and diverse permanent display collection, along with many awesome special exhibits throughout the year. The Apollo 11 exhibit was very well done. I never get tired of visiting the science center.

So much to do and see! Kids loved how interactive it is! Not bad pricing, parking is pay. Souvenir shop is great, along with the little food court. We had fun exploring it. Will be back next time!

This is such a fun place! It is amazing exploring the different plate boundaries, fossils, earthquakes, motions, and such! I enjoyed the Apollo exhibit! It was so cool seeing the models and the Mars rover too! The planetarium is amazing! I love the science center!

I have been to the St.Louis Science Center several times and the only reason I m giving it 2 stars is that the food selection is sorely lacking. It would be great if the center would include a healthier choice area as well as some health related exhibits. I am sorry but a salad with about 3-4 oz of meat or tofu and various high calorie sandwiches and a pizza place is not enough selection and brining outside food is often frowned on.

Went to see the Pompeii Exhibition and it was excellent. To see items that were found years after Mt. Vesuvius erupted was was quite fascinating. And there are things to do there for kids of all ages except for babies. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great exhibits and shows, but this place feels like a major money grab. The exhibits feel like they're for a much younger audience, and the attractions for older audiences come with an additional cost. I hope to see this place with many more attractions for more mature audiences

Sadly most science centers have gone the way of children play places. Many displays are broken, overcrowded, or too simplified. On the positive side, the Omnimax experience is usually nice, even when the shows like the one we watched this time are agenda based, and not science based. The museum has added and changed some displays over time, and I enjoyed the agriculture one (especially the aquaculture part).

Really great, free museum. We started at the planetarium (free parking) and took the skybridge over. Neat tunnel. Lots of fun things to explore. Capped it off with an Omnimax movie (that costs), which was a very cool experience.

It's so much fun for people of all ages. There are always so many new things to do as well as the ever charming older exhibits. The logic and puzzle oriented activities are easy and fun for everyone! With free admission and super nice employees, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming!

This is a superb science museum. Admission is free as are the majority of the activities. There are a few activities which cost extra. Be sure to take time to view a demonstration or two. Also, walk across the bridge (2nd level) to the planetarium where there are other activities including radar guns (to monitor the traffic below) and binoculars.

This is a very good educational visiting spot for all ages and full of fun. We visited this place before my ward took part in Science Olympiad regional and the Anatomy-Physiology unit was so so helpful for preparing herself. All the practice sessions are also too good. Making bridge in different ways was a fun for all of us. The wall painting and wall descriptions in that block also helped my ward to make a report for her World Language class. Location is very good just right beside the road, parking facility is available at a very reasonable price but entry is free. Ultimately it is a must go place for all ages based on STEM.

Awesome, cool spot for families. Interactive displays and fun stuff to do. Great place to go if you want to expose your kids to science without boring them. And the Science Center is free! You can spend all day there and still not see everything. You can go when the weather is bad too, most displays are indoors
