Love this place excellent environment fun and a great way to learn. Everyone should visit.
Love this place excellent environment fun and a great way to learn. Everyone should visit.
Great place.
Free admission, safe well lite parking.
Wish I had more time to wander around here.
Parking is $15.00.
Great museum! So many hands-on experiences! Great exhibits and attractions! My son didn't want to leave! We can't wait to come back?
I...we, had a friend who took us to the IMax to see a movie that was spectacular! I suffer severely from vertigo (bothered me a lot) but would go again. Weekday early semester so few school kids there. It's basically a children's venue but worth going to.
We seen D-Day Normandy. Awesome how they done the film. Thanks for the service of the liberalization of Europe.
Failure to incorporate composting in the food court shows care for profit over care for earth science.
They demonstrate compost in the "grow" exhibit right down the hall. Why would they not use compostable materials for food service and further demonstrate how earth is affected by waste?
We loved the Pompeii exhibit. This place is especially good for kids.
Had a great time there. Things are a bit overpriced but that comes with the expectation of free admission and parking. The Omnimax theater was a wonderful experience and I suggest going there every chance you get.
Amazing place that is free. Paid to see the IMAX and it was absolutely stunning. Loved the space exploration exhibit with super big high resolution photos of the moon. Not a fan of the video game exhibit but something new will come along as it is set up in the hall where exhibits rotate through.
This was a great existence with that kids and it was free!
Granddaughter loved it spent four hours there she still wasn't ready to leave.
Nice place to visit with the family. It's nice to have free activities in St. Louis.
Great spot for kids. We did a 1.5 hour tour and the kids loved it.
If you love science then you've been here BUT if you dont , you would when you left here
This is a great place to go on a weekend and the membership here has a great value. I especially like their summer camps which are great opportunities for kids to learn.
You cannot get a better deal than free entry to the science center for a full days of activities and amusement.
Parking does cost but there is public parking (if you are lucky) additionally the IMAX theater also costs extra but everything else is free.
Good place to spend the day. Free except for parking. Don't go on a busy day. Was very crowded, which would have been OK, if everyone used the wait your turn, motto that I use. Some of the exhibits were broken or missing pieces, but that's to be expected with so many kids coming and going. The planetarium was a little bit long winded, but overall another great day spent in a beautiful city.
Lots of Exciting things for younger children to touch and interact with. The coolest part was the Flight simulator for the older kids! Will return!
We love the Science Center! It's a great place to take the kids and spend the day. Very hands-on learning museum and lots to explore! Even for adults. We went there for a good 3 hours and still didn't have time to explore everything.
Honestly was a decent visit. The help desk broke down the center to me and handed me a map. The center is extremely interactive so there is a lot for kids to do for free. This place isnt really designed for adults but if you have a joy for learning it is still an entertaining place to go to. Today the restrooms were in great shape. The price of food and swag is a little pricey. I say its ok but certainly have some snacks in the car but definitely experience what the center has to offer. If you are in St louis or hell you live here check it out. Definitely bring a child for optimal enjoyment as they use the teaching tools. No kids still fun but certainly more for family entertainment with a child. 11.11.2019
Great way to spend your day. My 2 year old son enjoyed what he could before he got bored but he still had a great time.
Great Bear Rainforest- Spirit Bear on the Omnimax was amazing! The science stage is fun as well.
Just had the best birthday ever for my Son at the Science center!!! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect! Special thanks to Brittany Jewett, Shirley, and Whitney for taking care of everything A-Z for us! If you are looking for a unique experience for your kids birthday parties...look no more! St. Louis Science Center!
Great place for a family fun. free unless you use the parking. very educational. My kids loved it
Great place for the whole family. And only cost 12 bucks for whole vehicle....
Da Vinci's exhibition is wonderful. Very educational.
Went here when I was young, was awesome back then hope its aged well though
There are lots of things to see and do here. Great experience
Definitely check it the Grow building, lots of cool Missouri and Illinois information in there!
I kind of wish there was more to see but it's free and you pay with your tax dollars. The real benefit is in the special exhibits so mark your calendars for reminders to come back. If you go once and don't return it's not all that memorable honestly.
A wonderful place for children and adults alike to learn new things and enjoy science. The Omnimax theatre is so enjoyable. We always have a great time while learning something new. Work the time. If you want to park close in the lot its $10. Otherwise you have to find street parking but, ita so worth it!
took my son to celebrate his 16th birthday. it has been about 10 years and boy has it 8mproved! lots of hands on activities. Very clean. Extremely helpful people. Can't wait to go back!
This was a really great time for me and my children!!! The walk was exhausting though maybe I'm just old LOL but this was definitely a good time the food was great the cheese pizza from the cafe was amazing I remember going when I was little and don't remember having this much fun they really stepped their game up. They had a whole game room depicting the evolution of gaming starting with the Atari up to the PS three or four.prices are a bit steep when it comes to your free foods but it's definitely a good time for your family I wouldn't change a thing!!?
We love going to first Friday at the science center. My 5 and 7 year old had a blast exploring Harry potters world this time!
Such a great place to explore and learn from over and over again cause it's free.
We love coming here for family outings. :) My kids love the dinosaur exhibit and the tectonic plate displays and they always learn something new everytime we visit! We're also huge fans of the space section and the planetarium.
Great for the kids. I enjoy it too as an adult. Free entry. Cheap parking. Lots to do. Family friendly
Absolutely a place to visit, free and kid friendly it's a must see stop if you want to learn something and keep the kids busy and happy
This is definitely one of St Louis has stops, great for adults and children. Everything is Hands-On and very educational. Free to get in, theater and Planetarium have a ticket price. If you park at the north entrance, the parking is free. You get the walk across Highway 64 / 40 and see the cars below. Plan on spending at least 2 hours to see the entire Science Center. If you need to buy a snack, it's a bit pricey just like the St Louis Zoo.
Always discovering something new here! Great place for all ages!
It's a interesting place that's free but more for kids entertainment.
Love this place.. They have made quite a few updates in the last year and it fits more to every age!
Great place for kids. Definitely kid focused. Huge space. You could definitely spend an entire day here.
We were visiting from another state, and came here with the kids. We spent about 2 hours or so, but we could have easily stayed the whole day. There is so much to do! I was sucked to learn it was free, too! Definitely with it with the family.
This place has new content every season and never cease to amaze me. Thw staff os noce and courteous. One thing though
No samsung/Google/apple pay.
I always love going to the science center! It's fun, interactive and keeps the young kiddos busy
The Science Center is wonderful. They have tons of exhibits and activities for people of all ages. There's an IMAX theater, a planetarium, flight simulators, and a big hands on area for kids. There was so much to do I didn't even get to see the whole place.
This place is awesome, I always try to go here if at all possible. The OmniMax was pretty cool...would recommend it to everyone. The D-Day thing was educational and a great overall experience.
For the amount of content, paying for parking means you get an entire day of engaging fun for $10. What a great deal! The things you would pay for are reasonably priced and unique with no pressure to buy, except from your kids. Great time!
Enjoyed every minute of it. And it's free!! Alot of activities, kids will be excited and drained
Bad experience with my service dog.
I have a service dog and everything was fine with that when we entered they serve us very well but a staff man in the virtual reality part tells us in a very rude way that animals are not allowed and I need to leave the museum, my dog is clearly identified as a service dog
A long line and delayed start time to the Omnimax show made for a tough start but the show and experience altogether was wonderful!
It was all right I kinda liked the part where I walked across the bridge and got to watch all the cars and trucks go under me
St Louis was the home of McDonnell Douglas, manufacturer of early space crafts. The Planetarium section of the Science Center, which is in Forest Park, reveals a lot of the history of space exploration, and of course much more. The Science Center, connected by an enclosed interstate overpass. expanded the Planetarium into a full fledged science museum. Dinosaur exhibits are geared towards children, and many technology exhibits are hands on. Check before you visit for special temporary exhibits and the variety of star shows and omnimax movies. The architecture of the building is dynamic, whimsical, and inspirational.
Fun bit you have to pay separate to see different exhibits. And it not cheap.. too rich for my blood. Oh and they charge for parking too...
This museum is free! 5 stars for the amount of activities included,in this free museum. All employees I came into contact where nice yet not overbearing and the structure, facilities and parking were all clean.
Pizza was very greasy.
Remember to take your parking ticket inside with you to validate. ;)
Wonderful museum full of opportunities for learning fun and engagement. definitely a highlight of the area if you have some time, plus it's all-weather fun. The science demos and planetarium are absolutely amazing and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Free attraction which is nice, but pretty basic exhibits. Great for a younger crowd, ok for adults.
Great for kids and you can easily spend all day there!
So many unique things! Pompeii exhibit is amazing and so is the gaming area!!
Awesome place for both kids and adults. Took five grandchildren ages 2 through 7 and they all had a blast. Said they want to return tomorrow. Dinosaurs to space ships and everything in between.
Great free attraction, though is getting more and more paid sections as time goes on.
Great place to take kids for learning. Family-friendly.
Was very educational. My kids learned a lot on their home school trip.
Went to Pompeii exhibit was great and the rest of the Science Center is also great.
Great place for all ages. Went to the Pompeii exhibit and the outdoor farm set up
There was so much to see and do we couldn't fit it all into a single afternoon. This place was great even for an adult, but there are tons of activities and exhibits aimed at children as well.
It was a lot of fun! There are a lot of attractions. The parking is only 10.00 and admittance is free.
It's free! Omnimax theater is a unique and worthwhile experience!
Lots of activities for kids and adults to participate in. Live shows with a "scientist", very interactive and informative. Staff was helpful and friendly, and prices at the food outlets is reasonably priced! Had a great time!
The Saint Louis Science Center is a great place for people of all ages! With a friendly, clean staff and engaging exhibits ur is truly a place to leave you in awe. The Science center charges no admission, however I hope you can drop a donation
Always a great place to visit and especially to take your kids and grandchildren.
Great exhibits and movies, as well as, special events.
One of St. Louis' shining stars, the Science Center has free admission so parents of every background can bring their children to learn about science and nature. Lots of hands-on displays, and there is a life-size, moving battle scene between a T-Rex and Tricerotops...cool. As you enter there is a super cool contraption that shoots balls through a massive series of tubes and wires. And don't forget the Omnimax theater and Planiterium.
Good place for the family but make sure you pack a lunch because the food there is outrageously priced
Pompeii was great. They had real artifacts, not just replicas.
The fact that admission is free makes this (and the zoo of course) our top activity in the city. It can get crowded which is a bit overwhelming for the toddlers but the staff does an amazing job of being helpful and keeping things organized. There are always new exhibits and plenty to keep adults interested as well. We bring everyone from out of town here and they're always impressed and jealous that it's free!
The St. Louis Science center is a great place we had a birthday party for and little boy. The center had a great science demonstration. I highly recommend it.
This is an incredible museum and is totally affordable. We paid for parking and movie tickets, but all the exhibits are free. My son loved all the dinosaurs and fossils. My whole family loved the game area. There is something for everyone here. I recommend allowing 2-3 hours per visit. The Omnimax theater is very unique and the movies are always well made and thought provoking. I recommend seeing whatever is playing; it changes throughout the year.
A super cool place. Get ready to be there for hours and hours. Lots of stuff to do and they always work hard to add new things.
Great place to take kids (and adults) of all ages. Interactive and educational. Been going since i was a little girl and now i get to bring my daughter.
Awesome place for family and friends! Visit the Imax Omnimax Theater!!!
So many activities for kids to do. A great learning experience for them! Beautiful sites.
Fantastic family atmosphere. Prices are a bit high as far as concessions, but the IMAX theater is wonderful.
The Da Vinci Exhibit was excellent. It is likely most appropriate for ages 12 and above. Adults were very interested. Seemed to me that it would Not be enjoyable for most under age 12.! Exception would be 10 and up who were advanced for their age in physics or math. The art was also very interesting and informative.
Knowledgeable staff, will give you a one on one feel. While it is free, I highly recommend getting a membership for some of the extra attractions. Also, they partner with other Science Centers around the U.S. where you can get in free or discounted prices. The new Grow center is very cool. They do a wonderful job at making it cool for kids and informative for parents.
This is a fantastic Museum if you have younger children. We brought our three teenagers and most of the exhibits were little to juvenile for their interests.
