I...we, had a friend who took us to the IMax to see a movie that was spectacular! I suffer severely from vertigo (bothered me a lot) but would go again. Weekday early semester so few school kids there. It's basically a children's venue but worth going to.

Failure to incorporate composting in the food court shows care for profit over care for earth science.
They demonstrate compost in the "grow" exhibit right down the hall. Why would they not use compostable materials for food service and further demonstrate how earth is affected by waste?

Had a great time there. Things are a bit overpriced but that comes with the expectation of free admission and parking. The Omnimax theater was a wonderful experience and I suggest going there every chance you get.

Amazing place that is free. Paid to see the IMAX and it was absolutely stunning. Loved the space exploration exhibit with super big high resolution photos of the moon. Not a fan of the video game exhibit but something new will come along as it is set up in the hall where exhibits rotate through.

You cannot get a better deal than free entry to the science center for a full days of activities and amusement.

Parking does cost but there is public parking (if you are lucky) additionally the IMAX theater also costs extra but everything else is free.

Good place to spend the day. Free except for parking. Don't go on a busy day. Was very crowded, which would have been OK, if everyone used the wait your turn, motto that I use. Some of the exhibits were broken or missing pieces, but that's to be expected with so many kids coming and going. The planetarium was a little bit long winded, but overall another great day spent in a beautiful city.

We love the Science Center! It's a great place to take the kids and spend the day. Very hands-on learning museum and lots to explore! Even for adults. We went there for a good 3 hours and still didn't have time to explore everything.

Honestly was a decent visit. The help desk broke down the center to me and handed me a map. The center is extremely interactive so there is a lot for kids to do for free. This place isnt really designed for adults but if you have a joy for learning it is still an entertaining place to go to. Today the restrooms were in great shape. The price of food and swag is a little pricey. I say its ok but certainly have some snacks in the car but definitely experience what the center has to offer. If you are in St louis or hell you live here check it out. Definitely bring a child for optimal enjoyment as they use the teaching tools. No kids still fun but certainly more for family entertainment with a child. 11.11.2019

I kind of wish there was more to see but it's free and you pay with your tax dollars. The real benefit is in the special exhibits so mark your calendars for reminders to come back. If you go once and don't return it's not all that memorable honestly.

A wonderful place for children and adults alike to learn new things and enjoy science. The Omnimax theatre is so enjoyable. We always have a great time while learning something new. Work the time. If you want to park close in the lot its $10. Otherwise you have to find street parking but, ita so worth it!

This was a really great time for me and my children!!! The walk was exhausting though maybe I'm just old LOL but this was definitely a good time the food was great the cheese pizza from the cafe was amazing I remember going when I was little and don't remember having this much fun they really stepped their game up. They had a whole game room depicting the evolution of gaming starting with the Atari up to the PS three or four.prices are a bit steep when it comes to your free foods but it's definitely a good time for your family I wouldn't change a thing!!?

We love coming here for family outings. :) My kids love the dinosaur exhibit and the tectonic plate displays and they always learn something new everytime we visit! We're also huge fans of the space section and the planetarium.

This is definitely one of St Louis has stops, great for adults and children. Everything is Hands-On and very educational. Free to get in, theater and Planetarium have a ticket price. If you park at the north entrance, the parking is free. You get the walk across Highway 64 / 40 and see the cars below. Plan on spending at least 2 hours to see the entire Science Center. If you need to buy a snack, it's a bit pricey just like the St Louis Zoo.

We were visiting from another state, and came here with the kids. We spent about 2 hours or so, but we could have easily stayed the whole day. There is so much to do! I was sucked to learn it was free, too! Definitely with it with the family.

The Science Center is wonderful. They have tons of exhibits and activities for people of all ages. There's an IMAX theater, a planetarium, flight simulators, and a big hands on area for kids. There was so much to do I didn't even get to see the whole place.

This place is awesome, I always try to go here if at all possible. The OmniMax was pretty cool...would recommend it to everyone. The D-Day thing was educational and a great overall experience.

For the amount of content, paying for parking means you get an entire day of engaging fun for $10. What a great deal! The things you would pay for are reasonably priced and unique with no pressure to buy, except from your kids. Great time!

Bad experience with my service dog.

Bad experience with my service dog.
I have a service dog and everything was fine with that when we entered they serve us very well but a staff man in the virtual reality part tells us in a very rude way that animals are not allowed and I need to leave the museum, my dog is clearly identified as a service dog

St Louis was the home of McDonnell Douglas, manufacturer of early space crafts. The Planetarium section of the Science Center, which is in Forest Park, reveals a lot of the history of space exploration, and of course much more. The Science Center, connected by an enclosed interstate overpass. expanded the Planetarium into a full fledged science museum. Dinosaur exhibits are geared towards children, and many technology exhibits are hands on. Check before you visit for special temporary exhibits and the variety of star shows and omnimax movies. The architecture of the building is dynamic, whimsical, and inspirational.

This museum is free! 5 stars for the amount of activities included,in this free museum. All employees I came into contact where nice yet not overbearing and the structure, facilities and parking were all clean.
Pizza was very greasy.
Remember to take your parking ticket inside with you to validate. ;)

Awesome place for both kids and adults. Took five grandchildren ages 2 through 7 and they all had a blast. Said they want to return tomorrow. Dinosaurs to space ships and everything in between.

One of St. Louis' shining stars, the Science Center has free admission so parents of every background can bring their children to learn about science and nature. Lots of hands-on displays, and there is a life-size, moving battle scene between a T-Rex and Tricerotops...cool. As you enter there is a super cool contraption that shoots balls through a massive series of tubes and wires. And don't forget the Omnimax theater and Planiterium.

The fact that admission is free makes this (and the zoo of course) our top activity in the city. It can get crowded which is a bit overwhelming for the toddlers but the staff does an amazing job of being helpful and keeping things organized. There are always new exhibits and plenty to keep adults interested as well. We bring everyone from out of town here and they're always impressed and jealous that it's free!

This is an incredible museum and is totally affordable. We paid for parking and movie tickets, but all the exhibits are free. My son loved all the dinosaurs and fossils. My whole family loved the game area. There is something for everyone here. I recommend allowing 2-3 hours per visit. The Omnimax theater is very unique and the movies are always well made and thought provoking. I recommend seeing whatever is playing; it changes throughout the year.

The Da Vinci Exhibit was excellent. It is likely most appropriate for ages 12 and above. Adults were very interested. Seemed to me that it would Not be enjoyable for most under age 12.! Exception would be 10 and up who were advanced for their age in physics or math. The art was also very interesting and informative.

Knowledgeable staff, will give you a one on one feel. While it is free, I highly recommend getting a membership for some of the extra attractions. Also, they partner with other Science Centers around the U.S. where you can get in free or discounted prices. The new Grow center is very cool. They do a wonderful job at making it cool for kids and informative for parents.
