Worth to visit if you're in Glasgow for 3 days at least. I just watched it from the outside, since I stayed in Glasgow for just one-and-a-half day and didn't have time for a well-deserved inside visit

Very big venue. Expensive to park. Some gigs are way over priced. Good toilet access. Ramp access for disabled is good. The concessions are expensive and I found the fish soggy. Seats up the top are too far away. Overall not my favourite place for a gig, however not much else indoors in Central Scotland for gigs of bands with a high demand. Was great for the gymnastics that was there a few times over last few years.

Visited this awesomely huge venue to see Still Game Live (2/2)
The arena is great if you are fit and able however, you might find access to the higher sections rather poorly served, with one, poorly signed, escalator being the only alternative to stair, stairs and yet more stairs.
Once in your seat however, the size adds to rather than detracts from the overall experience.
Next time, if I cant afford 'the stalls' I'm not going.

Went to see Michael buble which was amazing. Only let down was the speakers hanging from ceiling obscured the big screen at the back. We were on level 2, section L. But all in all the show was one to not miss and would not hesitate to go see him again.

Nice looking building on the outside. On the inside it reminds me of a jail (all concrete, not much to it). It doesn't really have much character, it's simple and suits it's purpose. Drinks are priced fairly.

Great music/show venue although the view from some of the upper levels can be restricted by lighting rigs and the angle to the stage. Food, drink and merchandise prices are horrendously expensive.

UTTER SHAMBLES

UTTER SHAMBLES

Wrong door on ticket for entry.
No rep.
No merchandise pack .

When I complained all l received was an email telling me to actually contact the band for our missing merchandise" really" unbelievable .
My son said actual Venu is great but really let down by staff that treat you with utter contempt.
Do not recommend

Very good venue and the staff are extremely helpful. Immediate parking at the venue is expensive and can take quite a while to leave from- problems are caused by the traffic lights on the road to Finnieston. Fast food outlets in the venue are okay but expensive for what you get in return.

Seems a little better organised these days than it did at the beginning, if your planning on drinking and don't like heights I recommend you buy tickets for the floor as stairs are steep and hand rails aren't brilliant

With a more than reasonable resemblance to the city of Dublin, Glasgow demonstrates a great taste for postmodern art, bringing together commercial and sports buildings in the same park and endowing the scene with an incomparable beauty, and all this is housed in the mouth of the Clyde River, which makes that mixture of architectural works can be seen from afar with a peace unbefitting its magnitude.

Was Disappointed at the still game gig and I am a fan, the Jimmy Savile bit was distasteful and would NOT go back to that gig, prices are inflated and layout horrendous, people are giving them the business and parking should be free, just greed.

Went to see The Weeknd. Amazing venue. We were seated in the top row of seats central to the stage. Sound was great. Light show was great. The People in front of us were stood up which meant we couldn't see whilst sitting down. Which we didn't mind because we wanted to stand. But this put us in a difficult position with people directly behind us as they sat through the whole concert. Could do with a bigger tv to show the live action to the people sat in seats. Otherwise a very good night.

Good

We went to watch the boxing and the venue were very organised. Lots of food and drink options and you didn't have to wait to long. Security is very tight so makesure ypu leave plenty of time because it took quite a while to get in.

I thought the O2 Academy was terrible for sound but this takes top spot there. Poor design leads itself to terrible acoustics and the sound engineers just don't have a clue what they're doing with the space or the equipment which can't seem to handle loud volumes of any sort without becoming muddy and washed out. I would only recommend this place for acoustic sets.
